Jay Z claims he turned down an offer to perform at the Super Bowl next year and the NFL responded by offering a slot to Justin Timberlake. The question is will he invite Janet Jackson to perform? Remember the two famously performed(and stripped)in 2004 and it led to huge backlash and numerous fines for network CBS. I'm sure the censors will be in full effect as Justin performs. I would expect a PG rated show though from the former Disney star.  Female rapper, Khia(song: "My Neck My Back") has called out singer, K. Michelle over her Lupus disease diagnosis. To sum it up, Khia basically feels that K. Michelle's revelation is straight up bullshit. Who knows? K. Michelle has yet to respond. But she was however quick to respond to Joseline and Azealia Banks in the past. K. Michelle is known for getting the girls together but she met her match in Azealia Banks(the two fell out when plans to tour together fell through) and I think she'd certainly would meet her match...

Bobby V.(song: "Slow Down") is going to court over claims that he was extorted by a transgender woman. Remember Bobby V. was caught with his pants down on video after an alleged tryst with a transgender prostitute. I can't believe this mess is being dragged into the courts. I think its pretty pointless. At the end of the day if Bobby V. does indeed deal with transgender prostitutes from time to time then that's his business. I don't think anyone really cares. I think people were more surprised he was caught on tape. People didn't seem to care that he messed with transgender women and I don't care either. R. Kelly has come out and denied claims that he had sex with an underage girl(at the time) who says she was apart of his alleged sex cult. The "Cranes In The Sky" singer recently deleted her Twitter account amid the racial tension and fights in southern U.S.  Rapper MC Lyte(song: "Ruffneck") recently tied the knot in Jamaica. Many are surprised at the emcee's recent nuptials because it was believed that MC Lyte was gay(or bisexual). Congrats to MC Lyte and her husband! People have been talking about rapper Cardi B. and her choice words during a recent performance. Cardi B. said something along the lines of, people not really liking her but pretending to. Nicki Minaj's new song, "Regret In Your Tears" is being touted as a Party Next Door(song: "Not Nice") knock off and Nicki Minaj quickly defended the song by denying the accusations. Party Next Door's screenshots of his Twitter likes reveals he was feeling similar to others about the song's similarity in his melodies and so forth. I do notice that Nicki is always blasting men(Safaree, Trey Songz, Party Next Door) publicly and women(Remy Ma etc.) privately. Lil' Kim's fans came to her rescue after Nene Leakes started throwing shade or one of her writers for her new website. The website which Nene just launched called "The Fab Gab" deals with everyday topics including plastic surgery(which Nene has been very open about in recent years) and dating. Khia says she has no beef with Trina despite dissing her over the years. Khia was recently asked on air during her YouTube show what the origin of her beef with Trina was. Khia went on to say that it was a "gag" and shade is naturally thrown throughout Hip Hop. In another video Khia blasted K. Michelle who was the victim of a sex tape leak out on social media. Several 10 second clips of K. Michelle engaging in oral sex and masturbation surface but K. Michelle has denied the claims. Khia took K. Drake sells 600K+ copies in the first day of his new album,"Views". "Views" is an iTunes exclusive for an entire week before it lands in stores and other streaming apps. Upon its release on April 29, the album and its song titles were all trending on Twitter. Drake samples Brandy on "Fire & Desire" and Mary J. Blige throughout the 20 track. Drake touches on his relationship with Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill. Rihanna, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Future, Pimp C, and OVO artists round out the guest artists. Have you all heard the new Drake album and what do you think of it? In my opinion the album is not bad. I think it takes a couple of listens to fully get into it but reviews for the album have been mixed. But those sales are throughout the roof. Khia "Thug Misses" has leaked a naked picture of herself after claiming someone threatened to leak it out. Click here to see the picture. Clearly this may also be a ploy for Khia to get some more attention. Most recently the Tampa rapstress released the song; "Pay Yo Pussy Bill" and had a beef on twitter with another fellow rapstress; Diamond. The rumor is that Khia was reportedly upset that Diamond refused to do a song with her. Sounds pretty believable to me. Usher will release his new album; "Looking For Myself" on June 12. The album will contain the hit single; "Climax". The album features production from Diplo(who produced the first single), Salaam Remi(worked with Amy Winehouse), Max Martin(who worked with Britney Spears); and more. Usher recently held a listening party overseas and the previewed tracks were giving positive marks by fellow journalists. Usher is pretty consistent album wise so I will be looking forward to this album.

The Game The Game's battle with Jay-Z has the rapper feeling himself even now more than ever. The Game has been going at Jay-Z subliminally for a minute and The Game finally got Jay to mention his name in that freestyle. The thing about The Game is when he's beefing with someone, he likes to keep the beef alive and exploit it all the way. The name Rasheeda may not resonate with many but she is not a new female rapper by any means. Rasheeda burst onto the scene in 2000 with her debut, "Dirty South". Rasheeda is best described as a mixture of other southern female rappers such as Khia and Trina. What's the difference? Well she possesses the materialism often heard in Trina's lyrics. She combines a lot of the ghetto sleaze you hear in Khia's rhymes(that's of course if you listen to her). I'm not sure where this song(video) is from but obviously Rasheeda has a new album in the works. So its two covers two Ciara's upcoming, "Fantasy Ride" album due May 5. There is the purple standard edition(which you see to the right) and there is a deluxe edition which features Ciara in red. I like the purple cover better. I see the tracklisting has also been trimmed from the ridiculous 3 disc set it was originally intended to be. Most of the tracks have been leaked out already. My thing is most artists reportedly report up to 50 or more songs. But we always end up getting the songs that leaked out. Why not give us some of the other ones that didn't leak out? Just a thought. Ciara's "Love Sex Magic" is a top 10 hit in 3 weeks! Congrats! Also, "Never Ever" is #17 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts so it gives Ciara two successful singles on both formats.
