A few days ago Brandy posted a throwback picture of herself and Queen of shade, Mariah Carey with the caption, "SheKnowsMe" and social media users felt Brandy was throwing shade(at J-Lo). If you know the history between Mariah and J-Lo, Mariah was famously quoted for saying "I don't know her" when asked about J-Lo in an interview overseas. Brandy perhaps meant no harm but I caught the shade. But what would Brandy have against J-Lo? The only thing I can recall is J-Lo and Brandy recording the same song and both songs leaking online. I'm not sure if it were a song that Brandy was going to use but J-Lo certainly didn't use it either. But that was so long ago. Brandy did respond saying she was not throwing shade further saying if she was we'd know. Chris Brown has revealed that his new album, "Privacy" will be available next week and its for the "ladies". The album will likely feature the single, "Party" featuring Usher and Gucci Mane. You all looking forward to a new Chris Brown album? Speaking of new album, Drake released his new album; "More Life" on March 18 and it immediately had the Internet buzzing. The album features appearances by Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Young Thug and more. Jennifer Lopez was rumored to be featured on the album but after her and Drake's supposed falling out, she was replaced with singer Jorja Smith. Jennifer's own song, "If You Had My Love" is sampled on "Teenage Fever" which is one of the album's standouts. In the opening track, "Free Smoke", Drake admits to drunk texting J-Lo. Azealia Banks has to take anger management classes and undergo mental illness therapy in order to avoid jail time for biting a female bouncer in the breast. Awhile back Azealia got denied entry into a club when the bouncer didn't recognize her and bit her and was arrested. "More Life" Drake is reportedly 2 weeks away from finishing his new project, "More Life". On top of that he may be nominated for some Grammys but he has decided the ditch the ceremony airing tomorrow on CBS. Also its being reported that Drake's "fling" with J-Lo has sizzled. Personally I think it was just a publicity stunt between the two. Did the two hookup? I wouldn't put it past them. Happy Birthdays are in order for singers Brandy and Kelly Rowland. Drake has a new love interest. There have been pictures floating around of J-Lo and Drake all cozy and now reports are confirming that the two are dating. They've also been reported to be working on music namely for J-Lo's Epic debut album. Of course everyone is up in arms about this relationship but I'm not surprised by it one single bit. What do you think about J-Lo and Drake dating?  Queen Latifah was the victim of car theft when her Mercedes Benz was stolen while she was at a gas station. The whole incident is bizarre to me. Her car was later found with three guys standing around it, however they didn't have anything to do with the crime. You can see Queen Latifah starring in the new FOX TV show, "Star" premiering next month.  Young Thug has been sued for $18,000 dollars for not paying his chauffeur bill. That's all I know about that but it is funny how Young Thug has been in all this trouble lately. Maybe its karma.

Don't come for Bey Kanye West has ignited a storm of controversy during his most recent concert. During a break from the music Kanye made claims that MTV's Video Music Awards is rigged citing that was the reasoning for Beyoncé win for "Formation". MTV quickly shot back denying the claims saying that Beyoncé won fair and square due to the controversy behind the video and the cinematography. If that wasn't enough Kanye ended his concert early leaving many fans chanting "Fuck Kanye West!" I'm starting to think that people shouldn't even waste their money going to see Kanye at this point if he's going to abandon his set early. However it may still be worth the price of admission to simply attend and see what he is going to say or do for that matter. Beyoncé has been nominated for 4 Emmy awards for her "Lemonade" movie which premiered back in April. Congrats to her! People are mad at Christina Milian for not coming to the defense of Blacks when she tweeted #alllivesmatter Now many were upset because in the past Christina has dated Black men and after all she is of mixed heritage. She later apologized for the oops and tweeted #blacklivesmatter Now was that so hard Ms. Milian? J-Lo suffered the same criticism when she tweeted #alllivesmatter and not #blacklivesmatter namely because she's dated Black men and mixed heritage men in the past and currently. J-Lo later deleted her tweet.

Demi Lovato labeled J-Lo as "classy". It all started with a meme on Instagram. The meme features pictures of both Mariah and Ariana Grande. The meme pokes fun at the notion of ordering a product online and once you receive it in the mail, its nothing like it appeared originally. Demi took offense and stated that the pictures should be reversed. Mariah represented the product online and her picture appeared first and Ariana whose picture was second represented getting a product in the mail and it not being what it was supposed to be. Mariah Carey continues to deny knowing J-Lo. She was recently asked during a promo stop on "Watch What Happens Live". She did admit to coming face to face with her and shaking her hand and waving but she says she's never had a convo with her, thus her not knowing her. I get what she's saying when she explained herself but there was still some shadiness to the whole thing. Mariah also threw shade at Nicki Minaj if you want to call it that. When asked about it, Mariah pretty much refused to answer and directed the question towards Andy Cohen. On a much lighter note, she did reveal a secret behind the making of "We Belong Together". Sorry for the lack of updates people but let's get right into it. I read a few days ago that Lil' Kim was supposed to be apart of DC Gay Pride show. The show was to include Foxy Brown and Remy Ma but all on separate nights. Immediately Kim came out and denied that she was apart of the fracas. Days later the promoters released documents sent to Kim's people where she was all set to perform and received her $12,000 fee. Once Kim found out that Foxy Brown was set to perform as well, Kim backed out. She returned the money and wanted to forget all about the show so that's why she initially denied she had anything to do with it. The promoters assured Kim that Foxy would perform the day after she did but Kim wasn't buying it and opted out. I haven't seen or heard a word from Foxy regarding this matter; she blocked me on IG. Mariah Carey has finally responded to a shady comment she made many eons ago in response to Jennifer Lopez. When asked if she knew Jennifer Lopez, Mariah responded with "I don't know her!" and Mariah said she never said it to be intentionally funny but fans ran with it and it fueled the feud between her and Lopez. MUSIC BITS: Wendy Williams is hosting the Soul Train Awards airing next month on Centric and BET. Tinashe of 2 On famed revealed that J-Lo's I Luhh Ya Papi song featuring French Montana was originally meant for her. The song was once titled I Luhh Ya Nigga and producer Detail played it for J-Lo and the rest is flop history. Speaking of Tinashe, her debut album Aqaurius is said to debut next week with sales of 17K-22K(thousand) units in the first week. Another new album on the market is Keyshia Cole's Point of No Return which will debut a little higher with an estimated 25K sales in its first week of release. HIT & RUN: Jennifer Lopez was the victim of a hit and run accident. Luckily for the singer who was riding with her children, sister, and niece, everyone is okay and the driver who rear ended her was caught. It turns out he was driving under the influence. Rihanna has been in the studio churning out her new album with Ester Dean. The famed songwriter posted photos of studio time with Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, who Ester worked with on her upcoming album The Pink Print due November 24. Ester is also responsible for Nicki's last hit Pills N Potions . As for Rihanna her new album still has no release date but it seems she's been working on it for an eternity. I think we're used to Rihanna churning out album after album in such a short span but she's really taking her time on this one. I think she's personally trying to top Good Girl Gone Bad , her highest selling album to date. What do you think? 

COUPLES THERAPY: Are Beyoncé and Jay Z in couples therapy? Well that's the story going around about the famed Hip Hop couple. There have been rumors of infidelity in the marriage with Jay Z reportedly having a wandering eye. Hey! You don't say? I think that would be quite messed up if these reports are true. We all got a glimpse of possible trouble in the marriage when the shocking video footage leaked of Solange attacking Jay Z in an elevator. Ever since then Beyoncé and Jay Z's relationship has become tabloid fodder. The couple have remained mum on the rumors and are embarking on their first ever joint tour. BOOTY IT IS: Amid looming album sales J-Lo is determined to win. Plans to release the single Booty are underway. The song has already received a possible feedback so there it is. Do you think Booty will be the hit J-Lo needs to get her new album off the ground? Or do you think the album is done already? 

J-LO BLOW: The estimated sales figures for J-Lo's new album A.K.A. are in and they aren't looking too good. Then again I don't think people were expecting much. Sales are estimated to be around 30K units in the album's first week. That's pretty low even for J-Lo. J-Lo has been making the rounds pretty heavy this week so maybe that will help. However she doesn't have a hit single at radio right now and they is what is ultimately hurting her in my opinion. Will J-Lo rebound? More than likely. We all know to never count La Lopez out.
