Producer Rodney Jerkins speaks out about Mariah's declining vocal abilities. While there has been no recent performances as of lately Rodney felt the need to state that Mariah still have her "voice". Rodney is one of the many producers said to have worked with Mariah on her new upcoming album.

Mariah Carey is getting it in...in the studio. The singer is in the studio with Hit-Boy, Mike Will Made It(Rihanna), Rodney Jerkins, and Jermaine Dupri. There is no word on when we can expect a new Mariah album. You can expect the new album to feature the Miguel duet #Beautiful . Mariah's new album was supposed to be released in July but the album was pushed back so Mariah could finish recording more material. Last month the singer reportedly blasted Island Def Jam for giving all their attention to Kanye West and his project.

Brandy just finished filming the visuals for her Chris Brown assisted single Put It Down . The video was a one day shoot and was directed by Hype Williams. We should be seeing the video very soon. Brandy's Two Eleven: Evolution album is due in the Fall. It wasn't long ago when Mariah Carey announced that we would get new music from her this Summer. Now the singer has logged in time with producer Rodney Jerkins. No word on when to expect the album or its first single and who it will be produced by. Word is though Jermaine Dupri mostly produced the upcoming album.

Aside from producing the new Ray J, Rodney Jerkins will produce an album full of unreleased material for Michael Jackson. With Brandy's new reality show; "Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business" airing on VH1; the drama of the show is finally starting to unravel. Last week we got a behind the scenes look at all the drama on "For The Love Of Ray J" and now Brandy will supposedly open up about her disdain for Rodney Jerkins and the failure of her last album; "Human". I have read that Rodney and Brandy have since patched things up but for a time the singer was obviously mad at Jerkins and the direction of the album.
