another old pic of me Kevin Hart is now the highest paid comedian beating out Jerry Seinfield. The trailer for "RHOA" was released and it looks very good. Google it! Adele becomes the second female artist next to Britney Spears to score two Diamond(10 million) selling albums. Congrats! Drake's "Views" has been streamed a billion times. I can believe it!  Fetty Wap is being sued over the beat for his monster hit, "Trap Queen". 

Beyoncé big winner So I am a day late on my recap of the Video Music Awards. I didn't watch the telecast and nowadays you don't have to because most, if not all performances become readily available on social media and YouTube. There were many highlights as well as shocking moments,typical of all award shows these days. I took the liberty to cover some of the moments. Check it out!  Beyoncé was one of the big winners at the Video Music Awards. She now holds the record for the most awarded female surpassing Madonna. Beyoncé graced the red carpet with her daughter, Blue Ivy in tow. Jay-Z was noticeably absent. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing. I do notice when Beyoncé does attend award shows without Jay-Z, she seems more gracious and personable as opposed to when she is with him, she comes off as rather icy and cold, just my opinion. The Billboard Awards are going on as I type this. With that being said, I will give a brief recap of what has occurred so far. The award show, hosted by Ciara and Ludacris opened with a performance from Britney Spears. She performed a medley of her hits including "Toxic" and "I'm a Slave 4 U". The Weeknd won for Hot 100 Artist. Wiz Khalifa won for his "Furious 7" song, can't remember the name of it. Fifth Harmony performed, "Work From Home". Meghan Trainor performed, "No". Oh yeah, Justin Beiber also performed. :( Nick Jonas performed and Shawn Mendes. Presenters included DJ Khaled, Kelly Rowland, Keke Palmer, Heidi Klum, Michael Strahan, etc. At this point I'm pretty much just waiting on the Prince tribute. Drake leads the nominees for the 2016 BET Awards which were just announced yesterday. Drake leads with 9 nominations. Beyoncé has 5 nominations. The BET Awards air next month. Speaking of award shows, The Billboard Music Awards will air this Sunday on ABC. Artists scheduled to perform are Britney Spears, Pink, and Ke$ha. Are their any black performers? But there are black hosts; Ciara and Ludacris. Do you all remember when Ciara and Ludacris read off the nominee list on live TV and Ciara didn't want to read Future's name on the teleprompter? Ha! So some of us are still reeling over what was the BET Awards. Now comes news that Rich Homie Quan was set to perform on the telecast but it was undecided what stage he would perform on, the main stage or the pre-show stage. When BET and Quan's team were unable to come to a decision it resulted in a shouting match and no performance from Rich Homie Quan. :( Speaking of BET, people are up in arms about Rihanna throwing whatever she did in BET President Stephen Hill's face. Personally I think the whole thing was staged since it was filmed backstage. Rarely does an award show let you even go backstage to see what's going on. I think that was all perfect timing. A few days I was watching the 6 o' clock news about the possibility of the world ending. It wasn't something I took serious for a variety of reasons. They are my favorite producers. I will say I haven't been much impressed with some of their productions over the last few months.
