It was only a matter of time before Azealia Banks butted heads with K. Michelle. The two outspoken musicians had it out on Twitter a few days ago with most of the insults coming from Azealia of course. It all started after K. cancelled her tour with Azealia. Well apparently Azealia was feeling some type of way about it or some fan asked her about it and she didn't hold back. It was a matter of time before K. caught wind of the bad mouthing and K. pretty much dismissed the drama. Good for you K. Speaking of Azealia, she did reveal that her "Slay Z" album featuring covers over some of Jay Z biggest hits will arrive in September. She said the album will feature 8 tracks. Cool! SONGZ IN A MINOR: While gay rumors certainly didn't hinder his career in the past, Trey Songz lives up to his title of Mr. Steal Ya Girl and his title was recently questioned by labelmate Meek Mill. Meek posted on his Twitter that he has to ask a potential date if she's slept with Trey Songz insinuating Trey gets around. Trey responded knocking the notion and again sending a little shade a day or so later by saying that no one is "dry snitching". I believe that was a dig at Meek but what do I know? Hello all! There are a couple of music news stories that I wanted to talk about in depth so this post is a little lengthy but worth reading; I assure you. I'll start off with Mr. Drake who is riding high with hit singles; "The Motto" and "Take Care". He also recently ended his petty feud with Common. Now Drake is being called a diva and properly worse by the people at Vibe after this fiasco... I was watching "The Wendy Williams Show" the other day and she spoke about Drake during her "Hot Topics" segment. Apparently he was supposed to appear on the newest issue of Vibe magazine but the magazine ditched him. Allegedly the rapper was acting like a "diva" and the magazine opted for his own label mate; Nicki Minaj! 50 Cent has threatened his label; Interscope Records to "call him" or he will continue to release new music. I think there's a reason why your upcoming album hasn't been released. Each time I've read or heard anything about it; it was either pushed back or the supposed lead single wasn't performing well. Since the release of 50 Cent's latest mixtape; his YouTube views have increased as well prompting the famed rapper to call out his label. Of course most mixtapes are received well especially being that they are free and artists typically put a lot into mixtapes as if they were full length studio albums. Jill Scott a diva? I haven't heard the song yet but I'm sure some of you have already. Jill Scott has pushed up the release of her new album; "The Light Of The Sun" to June 21. The album contains the singles; "Shame" and "So In Love" featuring Anthony Hamilton. The album's original date was June 28. This is totally off subject but shouldn't Kelly Rowland be releasing her new album in June? VH1 is getting ready to unveil a new season of one of its signature shows; "Behind The Music". Most musicians pass the test with flying colors while others flounder; meaning the response to their acting is less than stellar. I remember when I was at work and another co-worker of mine started bopping to this song as it was playing in the background. I didn't pay it any mind but eventually I would come to like this song. It's funny because I was with my friend and this song came on the radio. We both said that we didn't like the song. A little after the song had been on; my friend started singing along. I said "I thought you didn't like this". She said "Well I keep hearing it on the radio"; that's what happens. Well that is the word going around. Apparently the two stars along with Erykah Badu couldn't get along. The opening acts; Erykah and Jill were going over their minutes in set and Maxwell wasn't having it. He was the headlining act of course. My sister was just telling me a story about how a friend of hers saw Maxwell in concert. She said that her friend told her he was acting strange. He was sweating profusely and his shirt was soak and wet. Listening to this made me think of the "E! True Hollywood Story" on Whitney and Bobby. I remember them saying the same things about Bobby!
