Rihanna quietly released her oft-delayed album, "Anti" this past January. The album was quickly certified Platinum thanks in part to the million of streams it received on TIDAL, where it was released first. Billboard however didn't recognize the sales and at presstime, "Anti" has sold close to 280,000 copies. "Anti" is Rihanna's second #1 album and it features the #1 single, "Work". Now as far as the album is concerned, I feel "Anti" is Rihanna's most enjoyable album since "Good Girl Gone Bad". The album opens with "Consideration" featuring SZA followed by the breezy but brief, "James Joint". "Kiss It Better" is an instant favorite to me and deserves the single treatment, while "Needed Me" might be the proper follow up since its already charting on the charts. "Desperado" finds Rihanna playing the bad ass that she is known to be singing in a monotone voice. ...

Erykahpeak Badu is said to be releasing a new mixtape as early as next week. The mixtape titled, "But You Caint Use My Phone"(a line from her 1997 hit "Tyrone") will likel feature Badu's cover of Drake's "Hotline Bling". Are you looking forward to some new music from Ms. Badu? Speaking of new music, Missy Elliott will release her new single "WTF(Where They From)" on November 13. The song features Pharrell who also produced the song. Timbaland let the cat out the bag months ago when he revealed that Missy's first single is produced by Pharrell. Missy later claimed that she would let people know when her new music was ready. Future has denied rumors that he's dating Blac Chyna, the ex-girlfriend of Tyga. It just goes to show that love wins in the end, well for some of us. There is some good news for T.I. His new album Paperwork debuts at #2 on the Billboard Album Charts. The album, his ninth debuts with 80,000 copies in its first week of release. Remy Ma will finally release her mixtape, I'm Around on Halloween and I'm looking forward to hearing it! What about you? Tamar Braxton is considering leaving Braxton Family Values due to all the drama with herself and her sisters. It may be a good idea. It seems to be too much turmoil between the sisters in the press. PISSED OFF: Fans of R. Kelly are upset with the singer after he bailed out of a Labor Day weekend performance in Columbus. The fans went as far as to call out the King of R&B for his lewd past including the rumors of his sexual dealings with minors. R. Kelly's publicist responded saying that Kellz would perform at a later date and time but fans weren't buying it. Turns out fans were really looking forward to seeing the Pied Piper of R&B piss on stage! I mean things like this happen all the time. Artists cancel tour dates or for whatever reason something happens with the promoters. I'm sure it wasn't nothing personal and only business. I don't think the fans or the people should of lashed out on him like that but then again what do I know? Besides his publicist even issued a statement saying he'd perform at a later date. Besides I feel like if and when he does reschedule his spot date there, the fans will come out in droves with their black panties ready...

Chal is serving the TEA! Hey y'all! It looks like Timbaland will be producing a new Jodeci album. Say what?? The 90s quartet are currently working on a new album. So what do you all feel about that? I'm all here for Timbo but I'm not sure about Jodeci as a group. Only time will tell. In other news..it was being reported that Diddy engaged to longtime girlfriend Cassie but turns out that was just a rumor. Diddy and Cassie have been together since 2007. Diddy did however buy Cassie a huge ring which started the speculation. Diddy and Cassie most recently collaborated on Cassie's mixtape Rockabye Baby released last year. Hey! I was excited for the two but something tells me that Diddy might end up marrying Cassie when its all said and done, unless another P.Y.T.(pretty young thing) catches his eye. I don't know though, seven years is a long time. So you never know.

Timbaland's wife is asking for a divorce! We know Timbaland as the man behind hits for Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z and Missy Elliott but he's humming another tune in court. His ex to be is asking for money for their child together who is five but also a child from a previous relationship, who is 10(who is not Timbaland's biological child). It's funny how quickly things turn ugly once a couple divorces. All of a sudden its like the wife becomes greedy. I mean she is going to get cashed out either way but she's pulling out all the stops. You know what they say "it's cheaper to keep her".

Hot off the heels of her SNL performance Rihanna will perform on the season finale of American Idol .  Flo Rida will release his new album Wild Ones on July 3. Flo Rida also guests on Waka Flocka's new album Triple F Life on a track that also features Nicki Minaj.  Monica took a break from promoting her own new album New Life to plug buddy and frequent collaborator Missy Elliott who is working on a new album. The rumored album titled Block Party is set to be released sometime this Summer. Missy is working with Timbaland among other producers. The album has been pretty shrouded in mystery so who knows what to expect. Fellow female rapper Azealia Banks said on twitter she collaborated with Missy but I'm sure of who's album that collaboration will appear on.
