A few days ago it was reported that singer, Mariah Carey was robbed of 50K(50 thousand) dollars worth of jewelry and purses. I'm thinking her backup dancers are to blame because maybe they are not getting paid enough to be on tour with her. I know Mariah Carey casually hangs out with her backup dancers and even dates them so what makes you think they wouldn't rob her? I'm sure they have been throughout her home on various occasions and have been privy to see many of the lavish items Mariah owns. What makes you think one of those snakes with an axe to grind for whatever reason didn't go upstairs in her room and steal one of her Gucci bags? To top it off they may of wanted it for themselves or they may of stolen it and sold it off and got money for it. You never know but let's hope this is not the case. MUSIC BITS: BET held its annual "Black Girls Rock" show and it brought out such stars as Ciara, Tracee Ellis Ross("black-ish"), Faith Evans, Fantasia, Lalah Hatahway, Janelle Monae, and many more. The telecast will air in April on BET. The show recognizes black women in all industries who are are positive role models etc.  Destiny's Child reunited this weekend for the Stellar Awards. They performed "Say Yes" from Michelle Williams' album "Journey To Freedom". Do you guys want to see Destiny's Child get back together and do a new album or nah?  R. Kelly is being sued by a concert promoter for stiffing the promoter out of $10,000 dollars. I don't know much else in regards to this story and I really don't care. Do you? 50 SHADES OF BEYONCE: Beyoncé has revealed a teaser of the upcoming movie 50 Shades of Grey and along with that she posted what sounds like her musical contribution to the soundtrack. 50 Shades of Grey is not due to be released until 2015. The trailer for the movie will be released in theaters on July 24. CHILD, PLEASE: Farrah Franklin formerly of Destiny's Child was arrested over the weekend for disorderly conduct. Alcohol is believed to have played a major part in the episode. I wonder what Farrah is doing musically these days if anything. 

Any news is good news.  Greetings everyone! Consider this blog post the Destiny's Child edition as all the news is about those either in Destiny's Child or affiliated with the group. I'll start things off by sharing my thoughts about the #PoorMichelle topics on Twitter. I guess I didn't pay it much mind because Michelle has always been the punching bag of Destiny's Child. I, myself doesn't have anything personally against her except I think she is a little awkward but who isn't these days. Apparently the #PoorMichelle topic got to Michelle and she responded back in a ladylike fashion instead of bowing to the ignorance that was displayed. Nice job Michelle! And as for Michelle being poor, she says her accountant ain't say that! Ouch! Some people have too much time on their hands to be counting someone's bank account. It was back in February when Keyshia Cole took to Twitter to express her disdain towards Michelle Williams during the Super Bowl Half Time performance. Beyonce was the headlining act and she brought out Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland for the Destiny's Child medley. Keyshia's words in regards to Michelle's performance sparked a lot of controversy and debate with fans and critics alike. Well I am happy to report that all has been resolved by the two women. Last week Michelle Williams spoke out and said she wanted to have a sit down, woman to woman with Keyshia Cole. Keyshia reached out via Twitter and apologized to Michelle for the comments she made. Miguel's stage dive may land him in hot water. We remember during the Billboard Awards when Miguel dived across the stage and landed on an audience member's head? Well the audience member may be going forward with a lawsuit if it proves that she may have a brain injury. I think Miguel may wanna stop all that jumping around for awhile anyway. Hello all! Hope you all like the new look! I do! The Destiny's Child reunion has everyone talking and with good reason. The trio has collaborated for each member's upcoming solo album all due this year. Their newest collaboration Neutral will be available to the Destiny's Child album Love Songs due January 29. If that's not enough you can see the group come together again at the Super Bowl airing February 3. We've been hearing and reading a lot about Justin Timberlake's coveted return to music and now I have new info. Justin Timberlake will release his new single Suit & Tie on January 14. The song will be available on iTunes. It is the first single from Justin's new album The 20/20 Experience due later this year.

"Cater 2 U" was one of the many hits from the Destiny's Child's last full length studio album; "Destiny Fulfilled". I remember the album being a big deal upon the time of its release. People were going into a frenzy since it marked the return of one or what some report as thee best selling girl group in the world. I remember when Destiny's Child performed the song on the BET Awards and pulled Nelly, Magic Johnson, and Terrance Howard from the audience. My friend and I often joke about Michelle's vocals on the song since her tone can be kind of mouse sounding.

Gone are the days where R&B female girl groups ruled. SWV. Xscape. En Vogue. TLC. Recently some of these famed girl groups have reassembled and decided to pick up where they left off. SWV When SWV(Sisters With Voices) disbanded many years ago; lead singer; Coko embarked on a solo career which included a secular R&B album before dodging into full fledged gospel offerings. After a few years of soul searching on Coko's part; she along with Taj and LeLee have teamed back up to record a new album. While not much news is present; expect the group to make their coveted return in 2012(hopefully)! TLC With key member Left Eye having passed years ago; the group TLC which includes T-Boz and Chili is still going strong and then some. VH1 recently announced plans to do a biopic on the famed group. People are already labeling Beyonce's new album; "4" in stores and online tomorrow; June 28 a flop! So the media is already suggesting that a Destiny's Child reunion is in the works but think again! I think its been awhile since we've all heard or even read anything about Farrah Franklin but she's popped up in the news and of course its not a good thing. Read below for more info! Farrah Franklin -- a former member of Destiny's Child -- was arrested for disorderly conduct in Culver City, CA this weekend ... TMZ has confirmed. Franklin -- who spent 5 months with the group in 2000 before Beyonce and Kelly Rowland gave her the chop -- was arrested at 6:45 AM on Saturday. Sources close to the situation tell us alcohol was involved. Everything is never as perfect as it seems. We've learned that over the years when it comes to not only music but even going as far as the stars on TV. While some good things eventually come to an end as we see in most groups; before that groups try to go the distance by replacing members. Whether it be a fall out; group dispute; or personal decision, some groups have stood the test of time for as long as they could. Here are an example of some of the groups who became more well known for their line up changes than their music; hey it happens! 3LW After a fight in a car involving chicken(oddly enough); Naturi Naughton was kicked out of 3LW and started her own successful solo career in music and movies. I can't remember the girl that replaced Naturi but 3LW trucked on with much success. | I know what you all are thinking. I want a Destiny's Child reunion so bad that I have spotlighted two of their albums back to back. Well that is not the case. I was able to find some albums that I never spotlighted. I have done so many in such a short time, I honestly feel like I was starting to hit a brick. I don't think anyone had no idea how successful this album would prove to be. Destiny's Child certainly outdid themselves on this album due to not only the good music but the scandals; the album was certified like 8x platinum. The album featured the first single, "Bills Bills Bills". The song and the group were criticized for their man dissing ways and it only continued on "Bug A Boo". "Jumpin Jumpin" was the album's third single and by the time the fourth single; "Say My Name" was released, the accompanying video featured two new members; Michelle Williams and Farrah Franklin. | Destiny's Child burst onto the scene with their self-titled 1997 debut which featured the hit single; "No No No Part 2" featuring Wyclef. The album's second single was another two parter, "With Me Part 2". I don't remember the story with the "Part 2" of the songs being the lead singles instead of the "Part 1". I think the "Part 1" just didn't work out so...but Part 1 of "No No No" is slower and is equally good as "Part 2" if not better. I remember buying the debut album but after so many years, I forget what happens to certain albums that I owned. I have though kept a nice number of them.
