Sean Paul is a name you probably haven't heard in awhile but he is back with new music featuring Kelly Rowland. Read more below: Sean Paul teams up with velvety-voiced Kelly Rowland on his latest single, ‘How Deep Is Your Love.’ (No, it’s not a Bee Gees cover!) Paul has described the midtempo come-on song as “definitely a dance hall track,” and he’s right on the money. The track opens with synths and an “oh whoa-oh-oh” hook that kicks in just before the beat drops. Paul’s signature lightning-speed rhymes are in full force here, rapping so fast it’s hard to make out a lot of his verses — he’s so quick that it’s almost exhausting to keep up with him. It’s safe to say he’s trying to woo Rowland, as one of the clearest enunciated lines is “Girl, you are the hottest thing around here.” Rowland’s smooth vocals put the listener at ease when she takes over for the hook. “How deep is your love / How deep does it go” she implores the lucky gent. ”How deep is your love / Let’s exp...

I love Blu Cantrell and she is one of my favorite singers. Most of the artists I really like others just don't care for or they get a particular amount of hate. I think that just makes me like them more and I like to be different, but not too different.

Blu Cantrell burst onto the scene in 2001 with her debut, "So Blu". The critically acclaimed album spawned the hit single, "Hit 'Em Up Style(Oops)". A year later Blu was set to release her sophomore album, "Bittersweet". Lead single, "Breathe" didn't exactly take off in the states. Fortunately her label at the time, Arista Records revamped the single and added Sean Paul to it. Unfortunately Sean Paul couldn't save the Dr. Dre-sampled song. Fortunately though for Cantrell, she found success with the single overseas. Subsequent singles including the fiery "Make Me Wanna Scream" were received well. The album, "Bittersweet" also did well. The US wasn't as receptive to Blu's melancholy, overwrought, and sometimes trashy appeal. Despite people's perception of Blu many will agree she is an excellent singer. This Philadelphia native first caught our attention via Jay-Z on his "Dig A Hole" song from his "Kingdom Come" album. The appearance set the stage for Sterling Simms' debut album, "Yours, Mine, and The Truth". The album is somewhat of a concept album(if you would like to refer to it as such). The album plays on three different sides hence the title, "Yours, Mine, and The Truth". Sterling explains he had just gotten out of a relationship and that the album is based on that. Sterling has released a couple of singles that failed to resonate with radio, "Jump Off" featuring Sean Paul of the Youngbloodz and "Nasty Girl"(which is one of my favorites). Now with the release of his latest single, "All I Need"(also recorded by Lloyd) featuring The-Dream & Jadakiss, Sterling is poised to become the next big thing in R&B. If you were in love in 2003, it wasn't official unless you were living "Dangerously In Love". It was the title of Beyonce's 2003 breakthrough solo album which spawned the singles, "Crazy In Love" featuring Jay-Z, "Baby Boy" featuring Sean Paul, "Me, Myself, and I", and the title track. The album would serve as a precursor of what was to come from this bonafide superstar. Unlike her later albums, "Dangerously" was deep-rooted in southern soul and R&B melodies.
