So as I was searching for a picture to post along with who I was ready to talk about today, I came across one of my favorite pictures of Mariah Carey from her "The Emancipation of Mimi" album. Now I wasn't planning on talking about Mariah today but I did read through People magazine that Mariah is back with her ex-boyfriend, backup dancer; Bryan. If you are surprised by this revelation then you are not alone. I didn't bother reading the story, I just saw the headline and thought "Wow!". Now for what I truly wanted to talk about today was singer and TV host, Adrienne Bailon of the daytime talk show, "The Real". Well her former bandmate from 3LW, Naturi Naughton appeared on the show and Adrienne apologized to her for her part in the separation of 3LW. Naturi humbly accepted the apology though upon closer inspection, Naturi seemed like she wasn't really here for it. I knew their paths would cross again because they're both in the spotlight. ...

The feud between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma continues to heat up as Nicki Minaj snatches Nas and Remy Ma takes shots at Nicki on TV and in a new collaboration. Earlier this week Nicki Minaj sent everyone into a frenzy when she revealed a snap shot of her and rapper Nas hugged up in a restaurant. The caption red "When KINGS support QUEENS" with several emojis to follow. The picture immediately led everyone to believe that the two rappers were dating though I can't quite figure if that was Nicki's way of making it official or was this just a meeting of the minds at a restaurant. If Nicki Minaj and Nas are in fact dating its quite interesting for two reasons. One, Nas appeared in Nicki Minaj's video a few years ago, I think it was "Right By My Side" with Chris Brown where she kissed Nas at the end of the video. An old banner. Monica just revealed yesterday that she is no longer with RCA Records. Monica first signed to the label in her teens. She posted a montage of her bodies of work(albums) over the years thanking all the staff at RCA on her Instagram page. I'm not sure what the future holds for Monica and her recording career. While she has nothing to prove as an artist, I do feel sometimes that Monica doesn't care so much about her music career. Her last few albums in my opinion have been lackluster. Monica is currently co-hosting on the syndicated talk show, "The Real". Speaking of "The Real", former host; Tamar Braxton is "Queen Petty". An old banner Mary J. Blige, who is currently going through a publicized divorce has threatened to expose her ex-husband if he keeps humiliating her in the media. Allegedly Mary warned her ex-husband that she will reveal pictures of all the woman he cheated on her with. One of those women is said to be the infamous Karrine "Superhead" Steffans. If you don't know who she is, Google her!  Meanwhile Mary's new single, "Thick of It" is #1 on the Urban AC radio. She is also currently on tour with Maxwell. Mary's new album, the aptly-titled; "Strength of A Woman" will be released in December. Janet's child Janet Jackson's ex-husband and her first husband, James DeBarge appeared on the reality TV show, "Growing Up Hip Hop" revealing that he and Janet has a secret child. It had long been a rumor for decades and DeBarge finally spoke out. In the show, DeBarge's daughter, not Janet's daugher; Kristinia DeBarge stars in the show as she attempts to resurrect her music career. After Kristinia hears of the story of the secret child her father shared with Janet, she confronted him with the rumors admitting they were indeed true. There has been no word yet from Janet's camp but in the past Janet has denied having a child before. Who do you believe?  Congratulations are in order for Adrienne Bailon who tied the knot to gospel singer, Isreal Haughton. Adrienne is best known for being the co-host of "The Real" which is a syndicated talk show. The two got married in Paris. Her "The Real" co-hosts joined her. 

I got the tea. Tamar Braxton apparently unfollowed Monica and Toya Wright on social media for appearing on "The Real". As we all know Tamar Braxton was unceremoniously fired from "The Real" and it was a really big ordeal. And it still continues to be a very big ordeal when she is doing stuff like that. Personally I don't think its that serious but Tamar Braxton is Queen Petty without a doubt. Just like Tamar, Monica and Toya Wright have things to promote just like the next chick. I don't think their intentions were to be disrespectful to Tamar but Tamar personally needs a slice of humble pie. Just when we thought the divorce between Mary J. Azealia back in the studio Azealia Banks previewed a new untitled song today via her social media which features Safaree, ex-boyfriend of Nicki Minaj. While he wasn't heard on the track exclusively, his exact involvement in the song remains unknown. Azealia simply tagged him in the video. Just a day ago Azealia revealed that she was going to be in the studio with a mystery person. Well it turns out Safaree is the person. Based on what I heard so far in regards to the collaboration, it sounds promising. What do you think about Azealia joining forces with Safaree? This is an old banner I used a few years back. Chance The Rapper is responsible for the latest hash tag challenge that is taking over social media. The #SoGoneChallenge named after Monica's hit song features the famed rapper rapping over the instrumental and challenging others. My friend texted me today and told me he was going to challenge me to it and I told him not too. He said "you ain't got bars no more?" Never said that but I'm typically not into any of the challenges that the Internet has created. I was on Twitter earlier and I was reading that the long awaited and rumored duet album between Jay Z and Beyoncé is nearing completion. Reportedly the album is said to be dropping very soon and their currently in Hawaii laying down the finishing touches. Are you all ready for the new duet album between Jay and Bey? I'm sure we'll get that album before we get Frank Ocean's. And Bow Wow says he's putting out one more album and it will be executive produced by Snoop, who discovered Bow Wow. So I got some news today about the Braxton sisters. It's a lot of news and I want to keep it as short as possible. I'll start with Toni Braxton first who brought out Birdman at her concert last night. There had been rumors of Toni and Birdman dating and her bringing him out last night seemed to confirm those rumors. If that wasn't enough, Toni warned everyone to "put some respeck on his name". If you didn't know that's the famous quote from Birdman during his 2 minute interview with "The Breakfast Club", a radio show based out of New York(in case you didn't know). Tamar Braxton is still feeling the heat after her exit from "The Real". Mariah Carey is making moves ever since she got that new manager, not that her past managers didn't make things happen for her, but Mariah is really putting herself out there in a good way. The singer just signed on for a three movie deal with the Hallmark Movie Channel. If you know the Hallmark Movie Channel, they specialize in sappy movies and Christmas movies. One thing I am tired of hearing about and reading about is Bill Cosby and the never ending drama with Tamar Braxton being fired from "The Real". Now the other four co-hosts are sharing their side of the story and how they learned of the firing. I mean at this point I really don't care anymore. The Billboard Awards are going on as I type this. With that being said, I will give a brief recap of what has occurred so far. The award show, hosted by Ciara and Ludacris opened with a performance from Britney Spears. She performed a medley of her hits including "Toxic" and "I'm a Slave 4 U". The Weeknd won for Hot 100 Artist. Wiz Khalifa won for his "Furious 7" song, can't remember the name of it. Fifth Harmony performed, "Work From Home". Meghan Trainor performed, "No". Oh yeah, Justin Beiber also performed. :( Nick Jonas performed and Shawn Mendes. Presenters included DJ Khaled, Kelly Rowland, Keke Palmer, Heidi Klum, Michael Strahan, etc. At this point I'm pretty much just waiting on the Prince tribute. Greetings! Happy 4th of July! I thought I'd give you all a break from seeing my face on here then again you'll see it if you scroll down to prior posts. :) Anyway Nicki Minaj's man, Meek Mill is embroiled in a heated exchange of words with Joe Budden. The "Love & Hip Hop" star stated that he looks at Meek differently now that he's fallen for Nicki. Joe feels that Meek's once hardcore style has been softened due to his relationship with Nicki. He feels Meek should continue to be the hardcore rapper he was once and what more than likely made Nicki fall for him.
