Aww baby!!! There's a lot of little news stories going around, many of them not noteworthy at all but I'll mention some of them just because. So here goes... Waka Flocka Flame is caught up in the groupie mess once again. Some chick is claiming he was cheating. But to be honest I really didn't follow the whole story but by the looks of it, its getting really messy. Don't expect any new music from Ashanti anytime soon and I guess that's okay since she has plenty of hit songs to perform on tour. Ashanti, who is currently on tour with Ja Rule in Australia is about to hit Europe, this time with R&B singer; Joe. The trek stars February 22 in Paris and ends March 4 in Berlin. So yesterday I reported a story regarding Monica and her husband Shannon Brown. Well the blog that originally reported the story did a retraction today. It turns out the woman that sold the story with dick pics, baby pics, and text messages was lying all along. It's said that the woman in question is a psycho bitch to put it nice and plainly! The blog says they did all their homework before they went full blast with the story but turns out it wasn't true. Twitter was on fire this morning as news spread about the alleged affair between this mystery woman and Shannon Brown. Monica finally spoke out and apologized to the family of the baby pics that were used saying no child deserves to be placed in this mess or lie for that matter. New York's yearly Summer Jam festivities happened last night not without some drama though. Apparently one of the headliners, Future wasn't about to perform on the main stage for some reason. Fat Joe and Remy Ma performed and brought out Ashanti. I didn't see much else footage from the show except for that. In other music news, Tyrese has been seen cuddling up with actress Sanaa Lathan. Sanaa had most recently been linked up with French Montana and before that Denzel Washington. In reality TV news, Joseline and Stevie J of "Love & Hip Hop" fame have been beefing on Twitter and airing out each others personal business. Joseline has accused Stevie of being gay and liking trans girls among other things. Stevie on the other hand has alleged that he and Joseline were never married and that she's a "hoe". This is getting messier by the day and by the time the reunion comes, its going to be one for the books. You know they always say, more drama goes...

The weekend is here but that doesn't mean there is a shortage of music news to go around. There's actually a lot brewing online concerning the health of Lil' Wayne. It was reported earlier in the week that the rapper had been hospitalized due to a seizure. Now there are conflicting reports about his condition which has lead to a lot of confusion. TMZ reported that the rapper was in critical condition after having yet another seizure and was now in a coma. According to Twitter and several close friends the claims from TMZ were being refuted. Mack Maine, Lil' Wayne, and several others close to the Young Money/Cash Money camp has spoke out on his very condition stating that he is in good spirits and recovering. Whatever the truth may or may not be we are not quite clear on Wayne's condition. I do wish him a speedy recovery and hope he gets well soon. You may of heard this sad news already but here is more info. I'm being sarcastic when I said "sad". Check it out! Waka Flocka Flame called into the Ryan Cameron Show today to confirm that he is quitting rap. “Yup, absolutely true. I’m tired of going through what I go through, and punk asses always rain on my world. There’s so much different haters, fake smiles, different hugs,” he said. “I’d rather work at Walmart than rap, and that’s my word on God. Yup, I put that on Jesus Christ. I’m not lying or nothing.” He also justified his exit strategy as a consequence of the hip-hop lifestyle. “It’s something I could never explain to people because they could never understand it, ‘cause they not living the lifestyle. At the end of the day, the people who’s living the lifestyle could understand why I’m doing it.” Every once in awhile a rapper comes along and plans to retire anyway and it doesn't happen. Remember the duet album Kanye West & Jay-Z were said to put out? Well the album; "Watch The Throne" now has an official release date of July 4 according to The Source magazine. July 4 falls on a Monday which is not the typical release date for new music releases. Some artists and labels release albums on odd days or to simply bump a release date. Either Waka Flacka Flame is getting pretty big headed or he is just the victim of some pesky rumors. First there were rumors about an altercation with he and Wiz Khalifa. Now some words he uttered at this year's famed "Summer Jam" festivities have been taken out of context.
