Trina gets bad In a surprising turn of events, French Montana brought out his rumored ex-girlfriend, Trina during the Miami leg of the Bad Boy reunion tour. Trina performed her underground hit song, "Fuck Boy" which many have speculated is about French Montana. French pranced around the stage with a towel on his head as Trina rapped to the backing trap, barely keeping up with it. I heard Lil' Kim also had a similar problem. Anyway, Trina also did her hit song, "Nann Nigga" sans Trick Daddy but brought the house down regardless. So, like many people I was surprised to see Trina onstage with French Montana but I guess its safe to say the two have buried whatever beef they had in the past. Good for them! Remember when Diddy choked his son's coach out and got arrested? Well it turns out that he won't face charges for his assault. Who saw this one coming? Seriously I thought he was going to get in some trouble for that. Any news is good news. Greetings on this beautiful Sunday. The lovely Faith Evans will be bringing us new music to our ears very soon. The singer has enlisted Missy Elliott for her new single I Deserve It along with Missy's artist Sharaya J.(Who?). The new single was produced by longtime collaborator Chucky Thompson(worked with Mary J.) Faith's new album Incomparable is due later this year. I'm just hoping that Faith really brings it this time. Her last two albums sucked monkey balls and I'm a Faith Evans fan. With a title like 'Incomparable' she better deliver! If that's not enough to look forward to, check out Ms.Alicia Keys! Chris Brown is drawing more attention to himself in both negative and positive ways. I guess I will get the negative out the way. The controversial singer called out a few rappers on Twitter stating for them to see him "by yourself" meaning with no crew. Whatever that means. Chris is starting to have too many foes in the industry if you ask me. Anyway he will be releasing more new music. His newest single Autumn Leaves is described as a "ballad" featuring Kendrick Lamar. What a good idea Chris, saturate the industry with music and drop a song with Kendrick Lamar who has a lot of people talking after his verse on Big Sean's Control . I'm not mad at that move. What's more interesting is that Chris is begging Beyonce to duet with him. I know a duet between the two could happen easily being they record for the same record label, Sony. I just think some of the bridges that Chris has burned will make a collaboration unlikely at this time. Maybe in the future ...

Hey everyone! I was reading through some of my favorite websites and I saw an article about Love & Hip Hop star K. Michelle. The story centered around her possible departure from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta . Its no secret that K Michelle has basically beefed with everyone on the cast and has reportedly worn out her welcome. So what's the next best thing to do? Give the girl her own show and recast her on the New York version of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. Surprised? Well that is the word on the street! As for K. Michelle's own show she would serve as host as a "serial cheaters" type show which is currently in pre-production. Looking to add some spice to the New York Love & Hip Hop K. Michelle might prove to be a ratings winner there. The last season of New York struggled a bit with ratings. Miguel takes viewers behind the scenes as he shoots the video to his new single How Many Drinks featuring Kendrick Lamar. Personally I always thought the song should of been a single but Kendrick is not needed in my opinion. While we're on the subject of single choices Miguel should of released Don't Look Back or Use Me as his second single instead of Do You. But then again what do I know?

Ashanti plans to release her new album Braveheart on February 26. The oft-delayed album was originally due to be released on January 29 and most of 2012. A new single is said to be released any day now. There is no word on what the new single might be. If Ashanti is smart(which I know she is) she will release the song Mine(She Can't). The song has proven to be pretty popular when Ashanti performs it during concerts. Kendrick Lamar will appear on the January 26 episode of SNL. The rapper had a successful year last year with the release of his album; good kid, m.A.A.d city and single; Swimming Pools(Drank). Common will release an EP later this month to coincide with the release of the movie LUV; which will be in limited release. The EP will be followed by his first ever mixtape in April. A new full length album is said to follow in September.

Dr. Dre assists on guest vocals.  good kid, m.A.A.D city will be in stores and online October 22.  The album also contains the hit singles The Recipe featuring Dr. Dre and Swimming Pools(Drank) which is one of my favorite songs out right now.  

Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar will release his debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city on October 22. The album was originally scheduled to be released on October 2.  So far the rapper has released the singles The Recipe featuring Dr. Dre and the more recent Swimming Pool(Drank) . A collaboration with Lady Gaga is said to appear on the album as well.
