Hey guys! I'll tell you now, this is a lengthier post so I'm warning you now. So yesterday Nicki Minaj appeared on "Ellen" and she brought up Nicki's rumored new boo, Nas. While Nicki played somewhat coy, she did admit to having "sleepovers" with Nas. She also says that she's "celibate" but may make an exception for Nas. I bet she will in fact I think any woman(or man) that is celibate will make an exception for Nas. I still can't get over how people keep saying that "SHether" has been removed from iTunes(Apple Music) when I periodically check and I see it there. Nas is collecting those coins. I'm guessing Nicki doesn't feel a ways about that considering she's just rubbing in the fact that's she's "dating" Nas. Remy's not worried though. She's been married for several years. The feud between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma continues to heat up as Nicki Minaj snatches Nas and Remy Ma takes shots at Nicki on TV and in a new collaboration. Earlier this week Nicki Minaj sent everyone into a frenzy when she revealed a snap shot of her and rapper Nas hugged up in a restaurant. The caption red "When KINGS support QUEENS" with several emojis to follow. The picture immediately led everyone to believe that the two rappers were dating though I can't quite figure if that was Nicki's way of making it official or was this just a meeting of the minds at a restaurant. If Nicki Minaj and Nas are in fact dating its quite interesting for two reasons. One, Nas appeared in Nicki Minaj's video a few years ago, I think it was "Right By My Side" with Chris Brown where she kissed Nas at the end of the video. GOD'S MATERIAL GIRL: Happy Halloween! Nas and Madonna were spotted in the studio together. Nas and Madonna together definitely makes for an interesting collaboration. Now when will we get to hear this remains a question. Whose album will this appear on is another question. MUSIC BITS: Wendy Williams is hosting the Soul Train Awards airing next month on Centric and BET. Tinashe of 2 On famed revealed that J-Lo's I Luhh Ya Papi song featuring French Montana was originally meant for her. The song was once titled I Luhh Ya Nigga and producer Detail played it for J-Lo and the rest is flop history. Speaking of Tinashe, her debut album Aqaurius is said to debut next week with sales of 17K-22K(thousand) units in the first week. Another new album on the market is Keyshia Cole's Point of No Return which will debut a little higher with an estimated 25K sales in its first week of release. Mariah Carey has tapped friend Nas to help her out on the dating scene since she is newly single. One problem though! Nas is allegedly scared to introduce anyone to Mariah. Ouch! Paula Patton has filed for divorce from Robin Thicke. The divorce papers were acquired through who else..TMZ!

MUSIC NEWS: Lil' Kim will release her new mixtape Hardcore 2K14 on September 11 at 9:11 P.M. The mixtape has been in the works for over a year and is now finally seeing a release. I'm just hoping its free and we don't have to go through three different sites to hear it. Nas has revealed that his new album is done(his last for Def Jam), his new single is coming, and his bachelor lifestyle all on the remix to Schoolboy Q's hit song Studio . Check Nas out! Jeezy's new album has debuted at #2 on the Billboard charts with 121,000 units. Congrats to him! 

Nas talks Grammys and Hip Hop beef!

Nas has revealed that he is in the early stages of working on a new album. The rapper who released Life Is Good last Summer is nominated for four Grammys this year. You all ready for a new Nas album? Beyonce has revealed in her GQ magazine cover and article that she is working with Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, and The-Dream on her new album. She described the album as "R&B" and "early 90s" influenced. This time around Beyonce is channeling her inner Prince, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, and doo wop as well. Beyonce will be performing at the Super Bowl on February 3. You ready to see Beyonce perform and do you think she will perform new music? Only time will tell.

Newcomer K' LA releases her debut single and video for Blame featuring Nas. The singer is signed to Music Line/Def Jam Records and her debut album is currently in the works.  I had been hearing this song on the radio for a while and I wasn't really sure if it a video for it existed or not. The song reminds me of a song that could of been recorded by Am y Wi nehouse since it has that sort of feel to it.

Another one bites the dust. Brandy sees her album Two Eleven pushed back yet again this time to October 16. The album was previously being released on October 2. There is no word on the push back but the album has faced plenty of push backs in the last few months. Let's hope this date sticks!  Nas will release Reach Out featuring Mary J. Blige as the newest single from his #1 album Life Is Good .  Nas and Mary J. Blige have a history of working together over the years. Nas has appeared on numerous remixes of Mary J.'s songs and most recently appeared on her song Feel Inside from her My Life II: The Journey Continues album.   

Nas is set to debut at #1 next week with his new album Life Is Good . The album is estimated to sale upwards of 125K copies. The album includes the single Daughters .  Brandy is back in full swing with a host of gigs throughout D.C. and Chicago and during some of press junkets she mentioned a song Without You . Brandy says this is the song she wants as her next single but the label may push for something different. We will have to wait and see. There is also the song Sick floating around in discussions for second single so who knows.

Nas reveals the cover art for his new album Life Is Good in stores and online July 17. The album features the first official single Daughters . Nas made a special appearance at Hot97's Summer Jam festivities last night when he performed If I Ruled The World with Lauryn Hill. Nas recently made a surprise appearance as Nicki Minaj's love interest in the video to her single Right By My Side .

Daughters is the lead single from Nas' upcoming album Life Is Good . Last I read the album was slated to be released in July. The video features Nas' real life daughter Destiny whose name he has tattooed on his arm. Nas' ex Carmen Bryant(who wrote a juicy tell all years ago) spoke out against the song and the message when the song was first leaked.
