So as I was searching for a picture to post along with who I was ready to talk about today, I came across one of my favorite pictures of Mariah Carey from her "The Emancipation of Mimi" album. Now I wasn't planning on talking about Mariah today but I did read through People magazine that Mariah is back with her ex-boyfriend, backup dancer; Bryan. If you are surprised by this revelation then you are not alone. I didn't bother reading the story, I just saw the headline and thought "Wow!". Now for what I truly wanted to talk about today was singer and TV host, Adrienne Bailon of the daytime talk show, "The Real". Well her former bandmate from 3LW, Naturi Naughton appeared on the show and Adrienne apologized to her for her part in the separation of 3LW. Naturi humbly accepted the apology though upon closer inspection, Naturi seemed like she wasn't really here for it. I knew their paths would cross again because they're both in the spotlight. ...

Naturi Naughton of "Power" fame, who also portrayed Lil' Kim in "Notorious" is still feeling the heat from Lil' Kim years after the movie debuted. It's been no secret that Kim wasn't happy with Naughton's portrayal of her in "Notorious". Then again when is anyone ever happy about how their portrayed in a biopic? I can understand Lil' Kim's reasoning but Naughton has finally shot back after years of being dogged by Kim. Apparently it was being reported that Kim was being shady toward Naughton during the VH1 "Hip Hop Honors" after party. Naughton said during a late night VH1 show that she doesn't have any beef with Kim. So what do guys think? Is Lil' Kim taking things too far? Naturi Naughton formerly of 3LW is definitely making a name for herself as a serious actress. Read more below: Following her short-lived role as Playboy Bunny Brenda on NBC's drama series "The Playboy Club," Naturi Naughton has scored another television role on Lifetime's "The Client List." Based on the network's 2010 original film of the same name, the new series follows Jennifer Love Hewitt's character, Riley Parks, as she pursues a job at day spa in Texas. After her success in films like "Fame" and "Notorious"; I guess it was a matter of time before Naturi Naughton released a solo album. "H8AZ" is from her self titled debut solo album which is out now. In My Own Words: Happy New Year everyone! I forgot to mention it in my very first post of the new year(which you can see below). I hope everyone had a great holiday and will fulfill all their New Year's resolutions(of course if you made them). I made a few for myself. I don't usually like to though because these are things I should already be doing anyway. With the new Biggie movie opening in a week or two, Lil' Kim has come out swinging! Apparently the rap diva is upset about her portrayal in the movie(or lack of involvement). Kim sums up that the movie is all Mrs. Wallace(Big's mother) and Faith's[Evans] side of the story. Kim is also upset about Naturi(formerly of 3LW) portraying her. This is not surprising. Anytime a biopic is made, someone is upset about how their portrayed on film. Former 3LW member Naturi Naughton graces the latest issue of King magazine. On the cover Naturi takes on Lil' Kim in which she portrays in the upcoming biopic, "Notorious" in theaters January 16, 2009. I personally think this picture is atrocious and very unflattering. If you have followed Lil' Kim, the cover is a take on Kim's 2000 album, "Notorious K.I.M.". For a cover photo its supposed to be glamorous and appealing and in King's case sexually appealing. I don't get that with Naturi but more power to her. Maybe after this role she will acquire more acting roles and a better future King cover.
