Of course I have some music news for you so here it goes! Kelly Rowland has been tapped to be the fourth judge on Australia's version of "The Voice". In a statement Rowland says "Australia is one of her favorite places". Someone said in the comments of where this story originated from and said Kelly keeps a job and I agree. Kelly stays working! Congrats Kelly!  Speaking of Kelly, R. Kelly is in hot water again, this time for running off with a man's daughter. The daughter in question is 19 years old and has been working with R. Kelly on music. It was a report that surfaced awhile back saying R. Kelly had a 19 year old girlfriend and I take it, this is she. I mean this is not news because we all know that R. Kelly likes young(er) girls. But the father is upset that R. Kelly is messing with his daughter. ...

The Billboard Awards are going on as I type this. With that being said, I will give a brief recap of what has occurred so far. The award show, hosted by Ciara and Ludacris opened with a performance from Britney Spears. She performed a medley of her hits including "Toxic" and "I'm a Slave 4 U". The Weeknd won for Hot 100 Artist. Wiz Khalifa won for his "Furious 7" song, can't remember the name of it. Fifth Harmony performed, "Work From Home". Meghan Trainor performed, "No". Oh yeah, Justin Beiber also performed. :( Nick Jonas performed and Shawn Mendes. Presenters included DJ Khaled, Kelly Rowland, Keke Palmer, Heidi Klum, Michael Strahan, etc. At this point I'm pretty much just waiting on the Prince tribute. In other music news, Tamar Braxton was reportedly let go from "The Real", the daytime talk show she hosted along with 4 other women including singer Adrienne Bailon. Kelly Rowland has joined the cast of "Empire". The singer will star as Luscious Lyons mother. She will appear in flashbacks in the upcoming season that begins on September 23 on FOX. Will you be watching? Do I even have to ask? Ha! And Diddy is gearing up for his last album(yeah right!), "No Way Out 2". The album which currently has no release date features the first single, "Finna Get Loose" featuring Pharrell. The song was debuted on the BET Awards. Remember near the end of the Bad Boy reunion set, Chris Brown came out dancing and sweating like he was on a Molly! Speaking of Bad Boy, a reunion tour is being planned so be on the lookout for that. KEEP HOPE ALIVE: Bobby Brown reported a few days ago via concert that his baby girl Bobbi Kristina was awake but according to Cissy Houston, grandmother of Bobbi Kristina says she's awake but "unresponsive". So there's still hope for this young lady and hopefully she pushes through. I reported this story a day or so ago and I was saying how some of the Houston family refuted Bobby's claims but the real deal was Bobby was correct all along but the Houston's wanted to clarify that statement and they did. Azealia Banks is the cover girl from the April issue of Playboy. Rihanna is the new face of Dior, making her the first black woman to ink a deal with the legendary fashion brand. It's crazy because all of the black models we have and they've never been the face of Dior. Quite strange I might add but congrats to Rihanna! What do you all think about Rihanna being the face of Dior? To be honest I can see why she was picked though. R.I.P.: Sad news. Kelly Rowland's mother has passed away as did Todd Tucker's mother Sharon Tucker of The Real Housewives of Atlanta fame. R.I.P. to both women and may their families be blessed at this trying time. LUMP OF COLE: J. Cole has taken part in the protest in NYC over the verdict that resulted in the killing of Eric Garner. Other celebrities have spoken out on Twitter including Azealia Banks, Little Brother, Charles Barkley, and more. Speaking of J. Cole, apparently a song titled Fire Squad  has been released that features the rapper throwing shots at Eminem, Iggy Azalea, and Macklemore. J. Cole's new album will be in stores on December 9. French Montana bought Diddy a Cadillac Escalade for his 45th birthday! Azealia Banks pulled a Beyoncé and released her album Broke With Expensive Taste via iTunes. Ray J's former assistant and Teairra Mari got on the radio to expose Ray. Morgan claims Ray J hit her in front of her child. Nick Cannon and Amber Rose were partying it up with Nelly for some festivities. Beyoncé penned an emotional letter to new mom Kelly Rowland congratulating her on the birth of her baby boy, Titan. But made no time to speak of the rumors of her being high at the basketball game. Then again Beyoncé doesn't respond to rumors anyway. Though she may address them in a remix song down the line. HIGH MILE CLUB: One of the big stories that broke yesterday was news of Beyoncé's rather strange appearance while courtside at a basketball with her husband Jay Z. The singer was seen being chummy with Jay Z and later swaying back and forth in a daze. Many people are speculating that the singer is strung out on drugs while others have come to her defense. Me personally I think she was high off of something, maybe high off of love, maybe that will be her next song with Jay Z. It is selling so well that it will be one of the highest grossing tours this years. Well take that! In other Beyoncé news she will return to HBO with a special of performances airing every Sunday before True Blood. The performances were recorded during The Mrs. Carter World Tour which ran for an entire year. The singer posted pictures of adult size and kids size Jordans prompting people to believe that the singer is indeed with child. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet but Kelly has been sporting some really baggy clothes lately. NO FUTURE ENGAGEMENT: There is trouble in paradise between Ciara and Future reportedly. While Ciara has been adjusting to motherhood, Future has been out partying with Ciara's nemesis Rihanna. Ciara was also spotted without her engagement ring. That's all it takes nowadays for the media to go into a tizzy, seeing a celebrity not wearing their wedding ring. That's usually the first and biggest sign that something is wrong in a relationship. Any news is good news.  So people are still reeling from the video footage of Solange allegedly attacking Jay Z. Well now news comes from E! and other media outlets saying that Solange has deleted every picture of Beyoncé on her Instagram except one. Why one? No one knows but obviously the picture means something to Solange. What went wrong between Jay Z and Solange? No one knows! The Standard Hotel, where the surveillance video was captured sent out a statement saying their investigating(yeah right!). We all know that siblings fall out and whatever the underlying issue is I'm sure it will be resolved in time. There is speculation as to what really happened. There is word that Solange had a heated exchange earlier in the evening with Rachael Roy. So was Solange drunk, wilding out or did Jay Z say something that was foul and offended Solange? Any news is good news. So last we heard, Kelly Rowland left her label, Universal Republic. Now the singer is in the beginning stages of recording a new album. So far Kelly has enlisted Pharrell and hopes to tie in Timbaland as well. Kelly also hopes to work with some new producers as well. So what do you think? You guys think Kelly will really bring it this time? I guess we shall see. One thing you will see is yet another season of The Game which Brandy stars in. The will mark the shows 8th season which typically airs in early January or late March, depending. There were rumors that Derwin and Melanie were coming back but Pooch Hall(Derwin) says BET put a dent in that..for whatever reason. Well it looks like award season is not quite over yet. Any news is good news. Greetings everyone! So its being revealed that Kelly Rowland asked to be dropped from Universal Republic Records. It was being reported originally that the singer was dropped. Kelly felt that her label was not supporting her properly. Isn't that usually the case when it comes to R&B acts anyway? I do however think Kelly got a pretty big push. She had multiple singles released but her album only sold 215,000 copies. That's pretty normal when it comes to R&B acts though, that number anyway. By no means is the number great but its what we've come to expect. Anyway its also being reported that Kelly has been unhappy with her label since December. She wanted her label to release a single during her stint on X Factor but they denied. Universal Republic probably felt like there was no point in releasing anymore singles since they had already released a hand full of singles. If your a fan of R&B Divas Atlanta or R&B Divas L.A . or both franchises, good news! Both franchises have been renewed. Look for the new seasons to air in 2014. It's been revealed that Atlanta regulars Nicci Gilbert, Faith Evans, and LaTocha Scott won't be returning for season three. No word on any cast changes concerning R&B Divas L.A. yet. Speaking of divas, Kelly Rowland is allegedly engaged to her manager Tim Witherspoon. It was just last week when Kelly gushed about having kids and getting married.
