Michelle? Marsha Ambrosius says "I love penis". This comes on the heels of rumors of her sexuality. For a long time the rumor has been that Marsha is a lesbian. It was even rumored that she was in a relationship with her former Floetry bandmate. I think for awhile I thought the same thing but then I thought well maybe she isn't. At the end of the day who really cares. I think Marsha makes pretty good music for the most part. Though I'm not too happy with her latest music. Hopefully her album Friends & Lovers due July 15 will be banging.   

Any news is better than no news.  IT'S NOT RIGHT BUT ITS OKAY: The Whitney Houston biopic being produced by Lifetime finally has a star! YaYa Dacosta of ANTM(America's Next Top Model) will star as Whitney and the movie will chronicle her tumultuous years with ex-husband Bobby Brown. If you recall this is the move that Houston's family doesn't want made. They prefer that her story be shared on the big screen. Personally they can also do a big screen adaptation as well. The Lifetime movie is being directed by former cast mate from Waiting To Exhale, Angela Bassett. I remember watching Wendy and she was interviewing Kimberly Elise(Hit The Floor) and Wendy asked her, her thoughts on the biopic. Kimberly stated that the network "should respect the wishes of the family". Here's some music news for you all! Marsha Ambrosius will release her new album Friends & Lovers on March 12. The album contains the first single Cold War. Eve is back with new album Lip Lock due May 14. The album features the first single She Bad Bad. The album's second single Make It Outta This Town will be released shortly. In a recent interview Eve revealed that Chrisette Michelle, Azealia Banks(possibly), Snoop Dogg, and Jeremih are some of the guests on Lip Lock.

Marsha Ambrosius has revealed that her new album is titled Friends & Lovers . On the new album Marsha collaborated with Pop & Oak(worked with Elle Varner) and Dre & Vidal(worked with Mariah Carey) among others. There is word yet on the release date.  In the meantime you can hear Marsha on the G.O.O.D. Music Cruel Summer album on a track called The One. Cruel Summer will be released later this month...I think. 

Marsha releases the third single and video from her album of the same name. This is one of my favorite songs and I was glad it got the video and single treatment. The video is cool and I notice all of Marsha's videos have a message behind them.

Ready for this? "4"; that's the album title. The number "4" according to Beyonce symbolizes many things and the singer talks candidly about it in the newest issue of Billboard magazine. Speaking of Billboard; Beyonce will be receiving a special award at this year's Billboard awards for her years of dominating the charts. Marsha Ambrosius will release "Late Nights Early Mornings" as her third single off her album of the same name. "Late" is my favorite song on that album so its good news for me to learn that. Its been made official that Ciara is no longer on Jive Records. One look at the label's website and the singer doesn't appear on the roster. Cool beans! Last I reported Ciara was having a meeting with Universal Records.

Jennifer Lopez has pushed back the release date of her new album, "Love?" in stores and online April 19. The album was originally due to be released on March 29 but faced stiff competition by the likes of Britney Spears and Wiz Khalifa. I think she should of still released that day but oh well. Lopezs' current hit; "On The Floor" features Pitbull and last I saw the single was #2 on iTunes which is pretty big. Punch Jenny! I did a mini review on my tumblr account for Marsha Ambrosius' first solo album, "Late Nights & Early Mornings" but I'm doing another just for the blog. The title track which is one of my favorite songs was produced by Rich Harrison; which was a pleasant surprise in itself. The song recalls vintage Prince. When you hear it; you will know exactly what I mean. There is a lot of star power here on the album but the real star here is Marsha herself. She reigns supreme on the Alicia Keys co-written song; "With You". One of my favorite songs though is "Your Hands" which is one of the more sensual songs on the album. "Sour Times" is a remake and another song worth checking out as is "Chasing Clouds" which has been stuck in my head. To March 1. Since the beginning Marsha's album has been plagued by numerous pushbacks. I mean it happens. It doesn't surprise me. I like Marsha and her voice. I just read someone saying she sounds like a cat in heat! I can't say I'm all that excited about her album, "Late Nights & Early Mornings" but I definitely will be giving it a listen. The album contains the two singles, "Far Away" with his its semi-controversial video(YouTube it if you haven't seen it) and "Hope She Cheats On You(With A Basketball Player). Lil' Kim's ghostwriter has apparently got fired for all the wack lyrics he's been submitting to her. Angry and upset he took to his twitter account and aired her out in typical fired ghostwriter fashion. He claims to have been writing for her for the last three years. Sad! Well hopefully Kim starts back writing or employs some better ghostwriters. I'm still surprised she didn't write the "La Bella Mafia...

Kelly Price will release; "Not My Daddy" featuring Stokely of Mint Condition. It is the second single from her upcoming album, "Kelly" which currently has no release date. Kelly previously released the single, "Tired" which barely made a dent in the R&B charts and stalled somewhere in the 90s(on the charts). Raphael Saadiq will release his fifth album, "Stone Rollin" on March 22. The album features the first single, "Radio". I like Raphael as a producer for other artists but on the solo front; I never care for what he releases. Marsha Ambrosius will release her solo debut album, "Late Nights & Early Mornings" on February 22. The album features the singles, "I Hope She Cheats On You(With A Basketball Player)" and the recently released, "Far Away".

I will say this video definitely caught my off guard as well as by surprise. I do like it and I can say its easily one of the first best videos of the new year. Check it out! Music Biz: Foxy Brown Sued, Let Go By Manager! Troubled rapper Foxy Brown has been dumped by her manager, Bernadette Brennan over her recent rant on Twitter. Foxy recently denounced Bernadette as a "fake manager," despite Bernadette bailing Foxy out of jail for last summer's mooning incident and Bernadette supporting Foxy after a July meltdown when Foxy tried to attack her. Bernadette now says she plans to sue Foxy for costing her more than $100,000 in studio fees, among other expenses. So far, Foxy has not released a statement about the split.
