I need a new Drake avatar Drake had Twitter on fire last night when he released a slew of new songs that dissed Kid Cudi and Pusha T. In one of the songs Drake calls an unnamed Pusha T a "studio drug dealer" or something along those lines. Drake also calls out Kid Cudi by making reference to Kid Cudi's former album title, "man on the moon". People felt that Drake was being insensitive to Kid Cudi since he is currently in rehab. Just months ago Kid Cudi called Drake and Kanye West out. So now Drake is responding two months later, maybe because it took him two months to write the response or his ghostwriter wrote it. Who knows?  Foxy Brown threw shade at Remy Ma and Lil' Kim after the picture of Nicki Minaj bowing down to Lauryn Hill made the rounds. Kelly Rowland woke up viewers this morning with a performance of her newest song Street Life . It appears on her new album Talk A Good Game available now. The album is on track to sell upwards of 65K copies. Kelly has definitely been making the rounds this week but faces major competition with new releases from Kanye West and J. Cole. The album will feature the newly released single Jerk Ribs(which is one of my favorite songs right now). Is it back on? That is the question regarding the state of Lil' Kim's new album said to be produced by Bangladesh(worked with Lil' Wayne). News broke out about the producer working with Lil' Kim awhile back. Then it was later revealed that Bangladesh was no longer working with Lil' Kim on her new album. Now its said that they are working together and Kim confirmed it during her recent tour stop in New York. Lil' Kim promises a new single in June/July likely produced by Bangladesh. Welp I guess we will have to wait and see if Kim delivers or not. Chris Brown has revealed that his new album X will be released on July 16. The album features the hit single Fine China . I just read that Monica has pushed her new album; "New Life" back to November 8. I read that she is still recording songs. Current single; "Anything(To Find You)" which is finally growing on me is climbing up the R&B charts. A video was shot and is said to debut soon. Pusha T; one half of duo Clipse has signed a solo deal to Def Jam/G.O.O.D Music. There is no word yet on when we can expect a full length release album. Meanwhile you all can expect a new mixtape; "Fear Of God 2" which will be released on September 27. Apparently news spread that T.I. was being released from prison and relocating to a halfway house. Well apparently the news is not true and T.I. remains in prison for the time being. There is word of a new reality TV series to air on VH1 in December following T.I.'s prison stint; I believe. Don't quote me on that!
