R.I.P. Hey people! I've been away for a few days but not intentionally. I guess I do have a life outside of this blogging thing. :) Sad news in R&B as it was reported a few days ago that Johnny Kemp, 80s singer who sung the song "Just Got Paid" passed away at age 55. In other sad news Ben Powers, who starred on the 70s sitcom "Good Times" died. He was 64 years ago. If the name doesn't register he played Thelma's husband in the later years of the show, by this time James(the father) had died and Janet Jackson was starring as Penny. R.I.H. ALBUM NEWS: On the album release front, we have new albums from Young Thug, "Barter 6" was just released but his proper debut album, "HY!*UN35"(which translates to High Tunes) will be released on August 28. So Jamie Foxx says he's not dating Katie Holmes and that they are working on a project together. What project that is anyone's guess but my guess is their "project" is their budding romance. These rumors have run rampant for awhile and they died down then they were reignited when the two were pictured together in a studio. Do you think Jamie is producing Katie Holme's album? Does she even sing? Who knows? It's funny because one of my co-workers brought up how Jamie Foxx is such a slut and yadda yadda and I told her, he said he's dating her. But I also said he's probably banging her though even though he also said that's not true. What do you think people? Talk to me!

LOVER BOY: Deelishis aka London Charles has been keeping her name in the news lately. During a recent interview with Kandi Burruss-Tucker of #RHOA and "Kandi Koated Nights" fame, she revealed that a rapper from Toronto who sings in his raps is "great in bed". I wonder what she had to say about Wiz Khalifa because we all know she was getting busy with him and let's not forget Flavor Flav and all the other countless celebrity men we don't even know about. FOXX HOLE: And we might know that Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes may be dating. The two were recently spotted sitting together holding hands. If that's not a couple then I don't know what else is. The story about Jamie and Katie is not exactly new. The rumor regarding them being together or not has been in the rumor mill for a few months now. So I was on my way to work this morning listening to the Rickey Smiley morning show where RHOA(Real Housewives of Atlanta) star Claudia is a host. I caught the middle of a conversation where Claudia was talking and speaking about issuing an apology and Rickey Smiley was co-signing. I had no idea who she was talking about because I got out the car to go to the gas station. It wasn't until much later in the day that I realized that Claudia was speaking about Tiny, T.I.'s wife. Apparently Claudia made some not so nice comments about Tiny when she worked on The Foxxhole, a radio show with Jamie Foxx. Claudia described Tiny's looks as a "pig" among other things. Oddly enough Claudia was one of the hosts on Tiny's show Tiny Tonight. But since people have been uncovering old videos of Claudia shading folks, its safe to say it hasn't been the best week for the newest housewife. The people at TMZ got their hands on an exclusive video circa 2002 of Jamie Foxx dancing in his underwear to Prince all the while intimidating Michael Jackson. The video is a little weird if you ask me. I know its all in fun but I know some people will see this and start suspecting things.

The debate concerning the authenticity of Michael Jackson's vocals on his new album, "Michael" in stores and online December 14 has reached a fever pitch. Now the first official single, "Hold My Hand" featuring Akon has leaked out. Still, there is debate about whether or not its Michael and to me it does sound like him and then again it doesn't. This is mind boggling. The album will likely be one of the bigger hits this Holiday season. Just you watch! Jamie Foxx is back with a new album, "Best Night Of My Life" which will be released on December 21. Did you know that Kanye Wests' "Gold Digger" was originally for rapper Shawnna? Kanye West recently leaked out a new song featuring Beyonce called, "See Me Now". I haven't heard it yet but I wasn't particularly scrambling to hear it either. You can check out Kanye West as he performs on this years MTV Video Music Awards. You can also check out his upcoming untitled album on November 16. Kanye West recently spoke out on Nicki Minaj and her being the second best rapper next to Eminem! Jamie Foxx will release his next album this winter. His new single is called, "Yup That's Me" which is about independent women. Sounds like a song we've heard before?

Monica is doing really well with her newest album; "Still Standing". Currently her first single; "Everything To Me" is #1 on the R&B charts. Now Monica has chosen her second single which is "Here I Am" and it will feature Jamie Foxx . The song was produced by Polow Da Don and was co-written by Ester Dean[from "Drop It Low" fame] and Monica herself.
