Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates! I'm always keeping up with what's going on in popular culture but me coming here and discussing it(typing it) is a whole different story. I compiled the last week of news stories and speak briefly on some of those you have heard about and some you may of not heard about. So here goes... Remember the rumors going around suggesting that singer Brandy was pregnant with her rumored ex-boyfriend(who's alleged to be married) lovechild? Well her friend, actress; Jenifer Lewis(show: "black-ish") was asked during a red carpet event if Brandy was pregnant and she replied "No!". So there you have it! Brandy is not pregnant!  R&B group Xscape are heading out on tour this Fall with singer Monica and Tamar Braxton. The group also landed a reality show titled, "Still Kickin' It"(I believe) and it will air on the Bravo network directly after "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" starting on November 5....

Fans of Lil' Kim and Remy Ma are rejoicing after pictures surfaced of the two female rappers in the studio. Lil' Kim shared the pictures via her Instagram page as did Remy Ma. Both women are working on new albums but whose album will this collaboration appear on remains to be seen. Janet Jackson has been back in the news thanks in part to her "State of the World" tour but she is also in the news regarding her impending divorce. Janet's brother, Randy has spoken out to People magazine saying Janet was verbally abused during her marriage. Janet's husband allegedly referred to Janet as a "bitch" during her pregnancy. I don't think its uncommon for a woman to be a "bitch" during her pregnancy but there were also rumors that Janet's ex-husband was "controlling". I wouldn't be surprised if that were true. Today marks the birthday of the late Whitney Houston' and super fan and friend, Brandy posted a tribute to the singer on her Instagram page. Once posted, Internet trolls called out Brandy for her choice of words when she said Whitney passed her the "torch". After catching wind of the comments, Brandy shot back at several of the commentators and also called out singer, Monica for not checking "her evil ass fans". Brandy believes that much of the hate in her comments are from Monica's fans(and it likely is). Brandy feels that Monica's fans are always trolling her social media pages. Brandy also stated that she's checked her "starz"(what Brandy calls her fans) for badgering Monica in the past and she should do the same. It is no secret that Brandy shared a really close relationship with Whitney Houston, so why should people criticize her for it? Whitney Houston also had a close relationship with Monica as well. A few days ago Brandy posted a throwback picture of herself and Queen of shade, Mariah Carey with the caption, "SheKnowsMe" and social media users felt Brandy was throwing shade(at J-Lo). If you know the history between Mariah and J-Lo, Mariah was famously quoted for saying "I don't know her" when asked about J-Lo in an interview overseas. Brandy perhaps meant no harm but I caught the shade. But what would Brandy have against J-Lo? The only thing I can recall is J-Lo and Brandy recording the same song and both songs leaking online. I'm not sure if it were a song that Brandy was going to use but J-Lo certainly didn't use it either. But that was so long ago. Do you all remember when it was reported some time ago that Keyshia Cole allegedly beat the brakes off some woman? The unknown woman at the time was dating Cole's ex, Birdman "Baby" Williams. Now the woman has come forward and has filed a $4 million lawsuit against Keyshia Cole. This was a strange time for Keyshia because she had been dumped by not only Birdman but also Bow Wow. Her career was in tatters and she was having a nervous breakdown in my opinion. Now it seems Keyshia Cole may have her act together then again she may not. Just a few days ago Brandy was subliminally dissing someone on social media and many thought it was rumored boo, gospel singer; Sir The Baptist. Well low and behold, Brandy and her companion were seen together via her social media page and all is well. Now I STILL really don't understand the extent of their relationship and perhaps its not for me to understand. Social media was on fire yesterday as pictures of Rihanna and a mystery man made the rounds. Rihanna and said man were seen canoodling in a pool and had many wondering who exactly the guy was. The guy was later identified as a man who has ties to Toyota overseas(I seen the man's name but I can't remember and I believe he is of Arab descent). Rihanna's new mystery man is also said to be model Naomi Campbell's ex. Now it all makes sense as to why Naomi Campbell threw shade at Rihanna when appearing on "Watch What Happens Live" earlier this year. Where's the beef? We're only 5 day into 2017 and already the entertainment world has been on fire with various feuds between celebrities, TV networks, and social media sites. Some feuds that erupted at the tail end of 2016 that were brought over into 2017 is also featured on the list. Azealia Banks. vs. Facebook  Facebook reportedly shut down Azealia Banks' Facebook page after she publicly criticized Brazilians. A similar thing happened last year but on Twitter when Banks' went on a racist and homophobic tirade towards singer Zayn Malik(I think that's his last name). Azealia's chicken coop T.I. is trying to put a stop to his divorce, a month after Tiny Harris filed. Peace! Prayers and thoughts to those affected by the shooting at Ohio State University. Brandy was honored last night during the Soul Train Music Awards. During her performance of her hit single, "Talk About Our Love", Brandy changed the lyrics in which many interpreted to be shade towards Monica and her fans for a feud they started months ago. Monica responded by saying that Brandy was a "legend" and deserving of the award. Mariah's sister in trouble Mariah Carey's older sister, Alison Carey was arrested for prostitution last night or two nights ago. Alison also has AIDS and it was revealed a few years ago. Mariah's brother called Mariah out awhile back for not helping take care of her ailing sister. Mariah has never responded to the accusations. Maybe Mariah eventually helped her out behind the scenes but Mariah has pretty much cut her siblings off over the years for trying to sell her out to the press like her brother did. This is an old banner I used a few years back. Chance The Rapper is responsible for the latest hash tag challenge that is taking over social media. The #SoGoneChallenge named after Monica's hit song features the famed rapper rapping over the instrumental and challenging others. It was reported yesterday that through Ashanti's Snapchat account that she got into an altercation. Her and Ja Rule were filming a promo spot for their Natural Born Hittas tour when they were in a car and someone was asking them to step out of the car. Ashanti asked why they were being asked out the car before stepping out. That was all we seen of the situation because it flashed to the next day of Ashanti at the gym. She did state however that she had an altercation but didn't give specifics. I'm wondering was this something that was simply staged and part of her tour promo. No one knows! Drake opened up his Summer Sixteen tour in Dallas by taking some shots at his adversaries; Joe Budden, Tyga, and Tory Lanez. Drake jokingly informed concert goers that he should of brought Joe Budden out to perform "Pump It Up". Drake also made a reference to the many artists(Tyga and Tory Lanez) that remade or ripped off his song, "Controlla". To say Drake's concert was interesting is an understatement. Personally I don't think Drake should waste his time on Joe Budden or even Meek Mill for that matter but that's just me. Azealia Banks has the internet talking again! This time she's taking on the whole skin lighting controversy which has plagued the black community in recent years. Many stars have been accused of lighting their skin either for financial gain or for their own personal insecurities. In typical Azealia Banks fashion she shot back at critics who has criticized her. Azealia posted several videos on her Facebook and Instagram account explaining her decision to lighten her skin and what it means to her. What do you think about stars lighting their skin? KEEP HOPE ALIVE: Bobby Brown reported a few days ago via concert that his baby girl Bobbi Kristina was awake but according to Cissy Houston, grandmother of Bobbi Kristina says she's awake but "unresponsive". So there's still hope for this young lady and hopefully she pushes through. I reported this story a day or so ago and I was saying how some of the Houston family refuted Bobby's claims but the real deal was Bobby was correct all along but the Houston's wanted to clarify that statement and they did.
