I got the tea and its piping hot. A few days ago Soulja Boy was on Instagram arguing with another rapper about his relationship with reality TV star, India Love. The war of words between Soulja Boy, India Love, and the other rapper named Lil' Yachty got pretty ugly. Soulja Boy claims he's had unprotected sex and ejaculated inside of India Love multiple times after she claimed she never been with him. Soulja Boy says his page was later hacked after photos of India Love surfaced as well. Fans claimed that Soulja Boy did in fact leak the pictures and it wasn't the work of a hacker.  The new season of "Love & Hip Hop New York" airs November 21 on VH1. The cast has not been announced yet but the teaser aired Monday night during the season finale of "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood". Banks choked. Hey all! I'm sorry for the lack of updates lately. I haven't forgotten about you all. I have just been busy with life. I do have some updates for you today though. Yay! Enjoy! Beyoncé big winner So I am a day late on my recap of the Video Music Awards. I didn't watch the telecast and nowadays you don't have to because most, if not all performances become readily available on social media and YouTube. There were many highlights as well as shocking moments,typical of all award shows these days. I took the liberty to cover some of the moments. The big news today is that FOX has cancelled "American Idol" after 15 seasons. The show will air its finale on May 2016. Many were surprised by this news only because the cancellation of "American Idol" has been long overdue. Speaking of FOX, they had their Upfront today which is when the network announces their new shows, returning shows, and the stars of the various shows. FOX's #1 new show "Empire" was of course the talk of the town as the cast showed up minus Terrance Howard. I wonder why he wasn't in attendance? Anyway Brandy and Jennifer Hudson joined the cast. And with that being said its been announced that NeYo, Lenny Kravitz, and Alicia Keys will guest star on the new season of the show. ABORT MISSION: I'm back after a brief time away for the Holidays. I was going to blog over the break but I left my laptop at home. So anyway on the news, Nicki Minaj opens up on the cover story of Rolling Stone magazine. She says she had an abortion at an early age and the decision has haunted her ever since. It looks like she also took another shot at her nemesis Iggy Azalea by implying that certain artists brag about not writing their material. Then again I'm not sure if she were talking about Iggy but if I had to take a wild guess I'd say she was the intended target. Though I can't quite recall Iggy ever saying she didn't write her rhymes as its been suggested by Minaj. DECEMBER BABY: Alicia Keys has revealed that she will give birth in December. When asked about the sex of the baby she remained coy. As for her new album which she is still working on, you can expect Pharrell Williams on production duties. He described the album as "next level". We will have to wait and hear. Any news is good news. Greetings on this beautiful Sunday. The lovely Faith Evans will be bringing us new music to our ears very soon. The singer has enlisted Missy Elliott for her new single I Deserve It along with Missy's artist Sharaya J.(Who?). The new single was produced by longtime collaborator Chucky Thompson(worked with Mary J.) Faith's new album Incomparable is due later this year. I'm just hoping that Faith really brings it this time. If the sound of the first single and accompanying album is anything like his Def Jam debut consider me sold. Speaking of sold, Ashanti's new album is out and its on track to sell upwards of 18-21K(thousand) copies in the first week. That's good considering she is an indie artist now. During her press rounds Ashanti revealed that she is working on the score to the upcoming Tupac biopic due in 2015. What do you all think about that? Well why you think about that Pharrell, who released his own album G I R L this week is producing on Alicia Key's next album. He describes Alicia's new work as "super next level" but we'll be the judge of that when we hear it. Right?

Tears Always Win is the next single release from Alicia Keys. Her current single Fire We Make featuring Maxwell just got the video release treatment a few weeks ago.  It looks like Alicia is pushing out these singles to keep her album sales for Girl On Fire healthy. So far to date the album has sold roughly 670,000 copies. That's good numbers but for an artist like Alicia Keys that is a little underwhelming.
