Tameka "Tiny" Harris Reveals 'Housewives' Tidbit..50 Cent Tells On Missy & Olivia

We all love a little salacious gossip right? Well I got it right here. 'TINY' HOUSEWIFE: Tameka "Tiny" Cottle Harris has revealed that she was originally asked to appear on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta . The star passed and recommended they use her friend, Kandi Burruss and the rest is history. While this may be news to some of you, I have heard this before. But its making news on some of the other blogs so I thought I'd share that little tidbit with you all. LADIES FIRST: Speaking of tidbits, 50 Cent continues his smear campaign when he revealed that former G-Unit artist Olivia was sleeping with Missy Elliott. The two were in the studio working on Olivia's album that never came out. I guess back in the day 50 had a problem with Olivia working with Missy. I don't think it was because of the business but that business became personal. This is not the first time Missy has been linked to another female in the industry. Many eons ago Trick Dadd...

Eve Releasing New Single This Summer

Titled; "Mama's In The Kitchen", the song sounds like it has all the makings of being a summertime hit. The song is produced by Swizz Beats and features him as well. Swizz is one of my producers along with Salaam Remi(worked with Amy Winehouse) on Eve's upcoming album; "Lip Lock". I'm interested in this new Eve album but I'm still scratching my head at the title. I need for her to explain the meaning behind it. If she has already, I must of just missed the memo. I just read that Beyonce's second single is not "1+1" but the Babyface produced song; "Best Thing I Never Had". The song is set to debut June 1. There's been a lot of confusion regarding Beyonce's second single. First it was rumored to be "End Of Time", then "1+1" and now "Best Thing I Never Had". In a minute we will have all heard the whole album; its only 12 tracks. I'm not complaining though just saying. I'm liking ...

Reality TV Roundup

Some of our favorite music artists are dominating the small screen by way of these reality shows. Check out the list: Jim Jones Through VH1's "Love & Hip Hop", we get a sneak peek into the tumultuous life of Jim Jones; his outspoken mother; and his fearless fiance; Chrissy. Though I think Jimmy may be a little shy to the cameras; we won't be seeing the real Jim Jones that his Chrissy knows anytime soon but that's okay. We understand. Olivia I think this is the third chance for Olivia and I feel I must be careful what I say about her and Jim Jones. They have people who will come after you! You will know what I'm talking about if you have watched "Love & Hip Hop". Anyway Olivia is trying to show everyone that she can sing and I don't really think that's was an issue. I think Olivia should just stick to what she knows which is "Hip Hop". She should come out with some music over some hard Hip Hop beats and her soft crooning. We ...

I'm not sure what station is picking this show up. Music Biz: Olivia Talks Drake Collaboration! "In no way was I trying to deceive anyone. The producers, Rony Arzoumanian, Raffi "DJ Special K" Kenadjan and DJ Finesse approached me about the record and asked if I could create a song around the beat and Drake verse they owned and created. Since I had not spoken to Drake, I was very clear that the record could not be used for my album and could only be used for mixtapes. After the record was done, it was released without my knowledge and we were quick to let people know it was a mixtape record. The producers put together the record and leaked it before they confirmed with Drake. The record "Control "was for my mixtape "Under the Radar...

Olivia Debuts New Single!

You guys remember Olivia? She was signed to G-Unit for a few years and her album, 'Behind Closed Doors' never saw the light of day. Though many of those songs leaked out, the album never came to friction. Before G-Unit Olivia was the first artist signed to J Records. She had a hit with the song, 'Bizounce'. Just thinking about that brings back such memories. Check out Olivia as she debuts a new single for record label, Universal Republic. I remember when Olivia first came out and it was the Napster age then and I was a junior in high school. Listening to 'Bizounce' and a lot of songs from the 2001 era brings back many memories. It was truly the last year I enjoyed a lot of music. I been waiting for a year to come along that would come close or rival 2001 and I think 2010 may have a strong chance. Sorry for the little rant! LOL Smiley face! ---------------- Now playing: Mary J. Blige - Crazy Games via FoxyTunes
