HOLLYWOOD SWINGING: VH1 has just announced the cast list for Love & Hip Hop Hollywood formerly known as Love & Hip Hop L.A. The cast includes Ray J, Soulja Boy, Teairra Mari, Lil' Fizz of B2K, Omarion, and Yung Berg just to name a few. The show will premiere on Monday, September 15. VH1 has already began showing the teasers of the show. Will you all be watching? I will! R&BEEF: K. Michelle has opened up about her beef with Elle Varner. The outspoken star says Elle was trying to be her! Really? Why? And K. also said that no one wants to hear that "India.Arie shit" she's singing about. Ouch! Can't we all just get along? 

NO MORE DRAMA: Elle Varner has finally spoken out over her fall out with K. Michelle. The singer simply said "I don't do drama" and I totally agree with her. K. Michelle is too dramatic and she should save those theatrics for when she was on Love & Hip Hop . DOUBLE PLATINUM: Beyoncé's self-titled album released back in December has officially crossed the two million mark. Beyoncé is Beyoncé's first multi-million selling album since 2008's I Am Sasha Fierce . In other Beyoncé news the singer switched up the lyrics to her Resentment song revealing that Jay Z cheated on her. 

MAD MAD WOMAN: K. Michelle is mad! This time the singer is mad at BET and possibly singer Elle Varner. Apparently BET stole K. Michelle's song or some nonsense. Some cryptic messages have also surfaced where K. may be alluding to her disdain with Elle Varner as well, I'm not sure. I really didn't research the whole story. I only read a tidbit. I do remember Elle and K. being very good friends and working together. I see how long that lasted. More on this story if I'm even interested in learning more about this. This is yet another feud in a long list of feuds that K. Michelle has engaged in. More recently the singer had a beef with Perez Hilton, Iggy Azalea, and Tamar Braxton. Gosh! I wonder who the next casualty will be. TRIPLE THE FUN: Tamar Braxton is ready to drop a new single reportedly. With that new single the singer is on three reality TV shows as well, Braxton Family Values , Tamar & Vince , and The Real . Surely we will get our fair share of Tamar in the ...

Say what? Hey y'all! This is a pretty lengthy post so bare with me. With that being said I promise its definitely worth reading. I'll start things off with one of my favorite R&B sirens Miss Ashanti. The singer is keeping herself busy as she celebrates the success of her new album BraveHeart . The singer will appear on The Queen Latifah Show on April 9 and on Good Morning America on April 18. She will perform the National Anthem on April 12 at the WBO(World Boxing Organization). If that's not enough she is currently working on music for the new 2 Pac biopic due in 2015. There is also talk about a second single which if Ashanti is smart will be Early In The Morning featuring French Montana. The song has topped the R&B iTunes chart top 10 upon its release outperforming her current single I Got It . If that's not enough of an indication of what your next single should be I'm not sure what else is. But something I do know for sure is that Brandy will appear...

It was back in February when Keyshia Cole took to Twitter to express her disdain towards Michelle Williams during the Super Bowl Half Time performance. Beyonce was the headlining act and she brought out Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland for the Destiny's Child medley. Keyshia's words in regards to Michelle's performance sparked a lot of controversy and debate with fans and critics alike. Well I am happy to report that all has been resolved by the two women. Last week Michelle Williams spoke out and said she wanted to have a sit down, woman to woman with Keyshia Cole. Keyshia reached out via Twitter and apologized to Michelle for the comments she made. Michelle also apologized! Well there you go! Two other women in the news today is a bit of an unlikely pair, K. Michelle and Elle Varner. It's a slow news day on this side of the Atlantic...anyway. I have made a minor change on the blog by exclusively just featuring R&B music news, videos, and gossip. I still have love for Hip Hop but my heart has always been into R&B. So on with the news... American Idol winner Candice Glover will release her new album Music Speaks on October 8. The album was originally scheduled to be released next month. The album is being produced by Harvey Mason Jr.(Justin Timberlake) among other producers. Candice Glover was the obvious winner to me when I did get a chance to catch Idol. Something about her reminds me of Jazmine Sullivan. Speaking of new albums... Refill singer Elle Varner is gushing about her new album release. The title is currently being held underwraps. She is said to release a new single in the coming weeks. For this album Elle worked with Pop & Oak(Nicki Minaj), Eric Hudson(Trey Songz), Da Internz, and Hit-Boy.

Meek Mill's debut album Dreams & Nightmares has been pushed back to "Late October". The album was originally set to be released on August 28.  When the rapper appeared on 106 & Park awhile back he hinted at the possibility of an album pushback. Nowadays its not totally surprising but its very annoying when albums get pushed back; especially ones that we are anticipating.  In other Meek Mill news he is featured alongside Rick Ross on Mariah Carey's new single Triumphant (Get 'Em) which was leaked out yesterday.  Someone who is releasing an album this month is Elle Varner. Her J Records debut album Perfectly Imperfect will be released on August 7. The album features the hit singles Only Wanna Give It To You featuring J. Cole & Refill . Ciara will release Boy Outta Here featuring Rick Ross. It is being touted as the new single from her upcoming album One Woman Army due in stores this October. What happened to Sweat you ask? It is beyond me. Did they even give the song a chance is what I want to know? Elle Varner will release her debut album Perfectly Imperfect on August 7. The album features the hit single Refill . The singer has been making the rounds on BET most notably where she first caught acclaim. Speaking of BET during the BET Awards Preshow festivities Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank aka TGT announced their long awaited collaborative effort being distributed by Atlantic Records. The trio plans to tour together on the Shirts Off tour. Tyrese added the disclaimer that "ladies only" are welcome to the event.

Elle Varner releases the newest video to her newest single; "Refill" which I never paid much attention to. After seeing the video though(which I like); I dig the song a little more. Elle Varner is signed to RCA Records and "Refill" can be found on her current mixtape; "Conversational Lush".
