HIT & RUN: Jennifer Lopez was the victim of a hit and run accident. Luckily for the singer who was riding with her children, sister, and niece, everyone is okay and the driver who rear ended her was caught. It turns out he was driving under the influence. Rihanna has been in the studio churning out her new album with Ester Dean. The famed songwriter posted photos of studio time with Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, who Ester worked with on her upcoming album The Pink Print due November 24. Ester is also responsible for Nicki's last hit Pills N Potions . As for Rihanna her new album still has no release date but it seems she's been working on it for an eternity. I think we're used to Rihanna churning out album after album in such a short span but she's really taking her time on this one. I think she's personally trying to top Good Girl Gone Bad , her highest selling album to date. What do you think? 

Ester Dean releases the video to her song Baby Making Love. The song which has an 80s flavor is also complimented in the video clip. Interestingly enough Baby Making Love was one of my favorite songs this year so its nice to see the song get the video treatment.

Ester Dean is famous for writing hit songs for Beyonce and Rihanna. Now the singer/songwriter is releasing her new single How You Love It featuring Missy Elliott.  It is the first single off her upcoming album tentatively titled Story Never Told .

Well that was until the 50 Cent assisted; "Down On Me" was released and hit the Pop top 10. The song was his saving grace and he has 50 Cent to thank for that. I'm not a fan of the song per say but I know a lot of people who do like it. Simply put; Jeremih is a singles artists as all his singles do pretty good. I mean R&B is not selling like that anyway and Def Jam knows that. Personally I would keep him around cause he is still making the label money unlike artists who release singles and their not hits at all! Ester Dean is not primarily known for her production work but moreover her songwriting work. In the past year or so Ester Dean has put her pen to many hit singles that have dominated radio. Ester was even responsible for penning her own hit; "Drop It Low" featuring Chris Brown. Born in Oklahoma; Ester Dean eventually moved to Atlanta before landing in L.A. It was then and there she hooked up with producer Polow Da Don for his Zone 4 productions. His latest productions are all done with the assistance of Ester Dean. Maxwell has a had an incredible year last year and he is making sure 2010 is no different. If you paid attention to my "Back To School Week" section, you will see that I mentioned Ester Dean among the many new artists you should check out. While her identity here is kept a secret, many of today's hottest and most brightest stars came out for her to show their support for her video, "Drop It Low". Check it out! And me being the person I am, I don't buy into the hype even if half a dozen of celebrities is bigging her up.
