Today marks the birthday of the late Whitney Houston' and super fan and friend, Brandy posted a tribute to the singer on her Instagram page. Once posted, Internet trolls called out Brandy for her choice of words when she said Whitney passed her the "torch". After catching wind of the comments, Brandy shot back at several of the commentators and also called out singer, Monica for not checking "her evil ass fans". Brandy believes that much of the hate in her comments are from Monica's fans(and it likely is). Brandy feels that Monica's fans are always trolling her social media pages. Brandy also stated that she's checked her "starz"(what Brandy calls her fans) for badgering Monica in the past and she should do the same. Peace! Prayers and thoughts to those affected by the shooting at Ohio State University. Brandy was honored last night during the Soul Train Music Awards. During her performance of her hit single, "Talk About Our Love", Brandy changed the lyrics in which many interpreted to be shade towards Monica and her fans for a feud they started months ago. Monica responded by saying that Brandy was a "legend" and deserving of the award. Not one to be outdone, Brandy also posted a loving tribute to Whitney Houston after Monica appeared on "Where Are They Know?" detailing her close relationship with Whitney. Monica may be with child. Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I went out of town for the Holiday but now I am back. There are rumors swirling around that Monica may be with child. The singer has yet to confirm these rumors but it wouldn't surprise me. Last night Monica appeared on "Where Are They Now?" which appears on the OWN network. Personally if I were Monica I would of been insulted if they asked me to appear on the show. I say this because Monica is still in the spotlight. Just this year she released an album and while it didn't perform that spectacularly, we know Monica is still around. I could understand them doing a story on someone like Sisqo because no one knows what happened to him. But hey you know what they say, "there is no such thing as bad publicity". What do you think? An old banner. Monica just revealed yesterday that she is no longer with RCA Records. Monica first signed to the label in her teens. She posted a montage of her bodies of work(albums) over the years thanking all the staff at RCA on her Instagram page. I'm not sure what the future holds for Monica and her recording career. While she has nothing to prove as an artist, I do feel sometimes that Monica doesn't care so much about her music career. Her last few albums in my opinion have been lackluster. This is an old banner I used a few years back. Chance The Rapper is responsible for the latest hash tag challenge that is taking over social media. The #SoGoneChallenge named after Monica's hit song features the famed rapper rapping over the instrumental and challenging others. So yesterday I reported a story regarding Monica and her husband Shannon Brown. Well the blog that originally reported the story did a retraction today. It turns out the woman that sold the story with dick pics, baby pics, and text messages was lying all along. It's said that the woman in question is a psycho bitch to put it nice and plainly! The blog says they did all their homework before they went full blast with the story but turns out it wasn't true. Foxy Brown upset club promoters after failing to show up at the allotted time she was scheduled to perform. The promoter(s) went all in on Ms. Inga Marchand! Monica's new single that she's been gushing about for some time has leaked out ahead of its planned release, though we don't know exactly when it was planning to be released. There has been no word from Monica as far as I know on her reaction to the leak.
