Ginuwine's collaboration with Sole on the single It Wasn't Me was the beginning of a love affair that started 12 years ago.  Sole starred as Ginuwine's love interest in his video None Of Ur Friend's Business .  Ginuwine and Sole eventually married and are still together today. They frequently pop up together at award shows.  It Wasn't Me appears on Sole's one and only album Skin Deep which was released in 1999. 

So word leaked out through Brandy that she first single; "Put It Down" will feature a rap from Chris Brown. Thank goodness. I don't think I can stand to hear his vocals next so a great like Brandy. ha! Chris Brown's voice is very squeaky and at times he sounds like a little boy when he is singing. Personally I don't think Brandy needs a feature but Chris is pretty hot right now so you can't go wrong with a Chris Brown feature. "Put It Down" is the intended first single from Brandy's upcoming album; "Two Eleven" in stores this July. Usher will release; "Let Me See" as his new single which features Rick Ross. The song is produced by Jim Jonsin(worked with Lil' Wayne). The song is the second single from Usher's new album; "Looking For Myself" in stores and online June 12. Usher is pretty consistent album wise so I can see myself possibly liking this album like I do the majority of his music catalog. News Tidbits...

Do you all remember Sole? Before she married Ginuwine; she released her sole album; 1999's "Skin Deep" which featured the singles; "It Wasn't Me" featuring Ginuwine and "4,5,6" featuring JT Money and Kandi. Before Sole released her own debut album she appeared on JT Money's "Who Dat" which was a hit. It set the stage for her debut album which features Sole's aggressive rhyme style. I remember when my cousin bought this album; I was immediately drawn to the album's artwork. The artwork in itself is visually stunning and will make any person take a second look. Sole tells many stories here and has a slick way of using words whether she is discussing her infatuation with a younger guy on "Young Nigga". She talks about a night at the club that resulted in a fight on "Da Story" and even dwells into past relationships on "We've Been Trying Too Long". Do you remember rapper Sole'? Before she was married to Ginuwine, she managed to score a few rap hits. One of those hits in particular is the featured video, "4,5,6". The single was featured on her debut album, "Skin Deep". Not only was this song and video memorable so was the album cover. It featured Sole' adorned in silver paint in several erotic poses. It was definitely unlike anything I had seen at the time even though singer Sade did a similar thing with gold paint for her "Love Deluxe" album. Check out the vid!
