KINGS OF R&B: Joe, Ginuwine, Jagged Edge and Total will embark on the Kings of R&B tour in Europe in January. Why their not touring in the US I'm not sure. I'm guessing the money overseas is a lot longer than it is here in the States. I mean given also that none of the aforementioned acts are that popular in the State right now why not go overseas where music is much more appreciated.  MOMMY TO BE: And Nicki Minaj says she wants to be a Mother by the time her fifth album is released or shortly thereafter. Nicki is currently set to release her third album The Pink Print on December 15. When asked on the AMA( American Music Awards ) red carpet, Nicki said her fans will be surprised by the lyrical content on the new album. Could she be referring to the lyrics on her new single Bed of Lies ? One can only imagine. I can't say I'm here for the new Nicki album. I will have to hear the samples on iTunes. Nicki's album is not one I'm anticipating.

EYE OF THE TYGA: My gosh, if Tyga isn't already in enough hot water dealing with a minor, he goes and gets arrested during a video shoot. The rapper was hit with a traffic violation for reckless driving. I'm thinking that Jenner kid was giving Tyga head and he was swerving all through L.A. What do you all think? 2 Chainz has announced his new album title! Due September 10 B.O.A.T.S II: Me Time will feature the Pharrell-assisted first single Feds Watching . Speaking of watching there was a video that leaked(that I should of posted) of 2 Chainz getting robbed on the street. The robbery in question was the same robbery that 2 Chainz took to Twitter to deny. I think it was that denial that led to the surveillance video being leaked. I can't say I blame him for running when the guy approached him with a gun. I mean what would you do? Luckily he got away as did many of his entourage. In other Hip Hop music news...Kanye West is likely having the best week ever. His girlfriend Kim Kardashian gave birth yesterday to a 5lb baby girl. TMZ broke the story as did several other media outlets that Kim K. was in labor. Moments later it was being reported that the reality TV star had given birth. Ginuwine's collaboration with Sole on the single It Wasn't Me was the beginning of a love affair that started 12 years ago.  Sole starred as Ginuwine's love interest in his video None Of Ur Friend's Business .  Ginuwine and Sole eventually married and are still together today. They frequently pop up together at award shows.  It Wasn't Me appears on Sole's one and only album Skin Deep which was released in 1999. 

Ciara will release Boy Outta Here featuring Rick Ross. It is being touted as the new single from her upcoming album One Woman Army due in stores this October. What happened to Sweat you ask? It is beyond me. Did they even give the song a chance is what I want to know? Elle Varner will release her debut album Perfectly Imperfect on August 7. The album features the hit single Refill . The singer has been making the rounds on BET most notably where she first caught acclaim. Speaking of BET during the BET Awards Preshow festivities Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank aka TGT announced their long awaited collaborative effort being distributed by Atlantic Records. The trio plans to tour together on the Shirts Off tour. Tyrese added the disclaimer that "ladies only" are welcome to the event.

So word leaked out through Brandy that she first single; "Put It Down" will feature a rap from Chris Brown. Thank goodness. I don't think I can stand to hear his vocals next so a great like Brandy. ha! Chris Brown's voice is very squeaky and at times he sounds like a little boy when he is singing. Personally I don't think Brandy needs a feature but Chris is pretty hot right now so you can't go wrong with a Chris Brown feature. "Put It Down" is the intended first single from Brandy's upcoming album; "Two Eleven" in stores this July. Usher will release; "Let Me See" as his new single which features Rick Ross. The song is produced by Jim Jonsin(worked with Lil' Wayne). The song is the second single from Usher's new album; "Looking For Myself" in stores and online June 12. Usher is pretty consistent album wise so I can see myself possibly liking this album like I do the majority of his music catalog. News Tidbits...

Chris Brown's most recent album; "F.A.M.E." has already released a variety of hits and they continue with the upcoming release of "Wet The Bed" featuring Ludacris. Carl Thomas will release his new album; "Conquer" on October 4. The album will feature the first single; "Round 2". October 4 is looking to be a Super Tuesday. Both Monica and Mary J. Blige are dropping their respective album that day and who knows who else. Then again R&B releases have a lot of push backs so you never know in the end but as of now; its three R&B releases being released on October 4. Timbaland has revealed that he plans to work with Ginuwine again. The two had a falling out over the years due to a bunch of people in both artists ears. Now Tim is ready to let bygones be bygones and recreate some of the magic they created many years. Who knew that Ginuwine had a reality show in the works? Well if you didn't know; you know now. I'm not sure which lucky channel will be airing this. Centric? BET? VH1? TVOne? I guess we will find out soon enough or maybe its already known; I just don't know.

I think I like this song the most from the other songs and singles I heard from Ginuwine's recently released album, "Elgin". I remember some people saying this should of been the first single anyway and to me this recalls 90s Ginuwine anyway. I can't remember which soundtrack "Same Ole G" was on but I think it was "Romeo Must Die" which starred friend; Aaliyah. Ginuwine will release, "Break" as the second single from his upcoming album, "Elgin"(his real name if you didn't know) on February 15. "Break" was produced by Bryan Michael Cox and written by Diane Warren. I found out that the song had previously been recorded by singer Frankie J. Omarion supposedly came out of the closet admitting he was bisexual? I'm not sure how true it is but it was a Trending Topic on twitter. Until he comes out and confirm it; I will treat it as just that a rumor. Omarion's sexuality had been questioned before primarily due to his close relationship with Bow Wow. Foxy Brown is catching some heat from a homophobic rant she typed on twitter. The rapper was upset at an intern who leaked out an early version of her "Massacre" song which is a dis to Lil' Kim. Ginuwine is back with his new album, "Elgin" in stores and online February 15. His new single, "Break" is produced by Bryan Michael Cox and written by Diane Warren. Judging from the promo clip; we hear that the song is a very emotional and expressive ballad; the kind we have come to expect over the years from a songwriter such as Diane Warren. Toni Braxton is the latest star to be given her own reality show. The show has been in the works for awhile and finally has a network and air date. Drake has chosen "Show Me A Good Time" as his album's fifth single. It is from his platinum album, "Thank Me Later". The album has released multiple hit singles and I'm sure the momentum will not die down anytime soon. Personally I think he is releasing singles too fast but that seems to be the thing to do with the more major artists anyway. Ginuwine is returning to the music scene. He recently took the ever popular Ustream and he broadcast himself and played his new single, "Drink Of Choice". I haven't heard it but the response I read has been pretty good. Make sure you all look out for that. September 7 seems to be a very big day for new single releases. Rihanna's new single, "Only Girl(In The World)" will hit iTunes as well as a new single from Chrisette Michele. Who knows the statistics regarding how fast or how often a rumor is started? As far as celebrities are concerned; the statistical rate is pretty alarming. It really doesn't matter how big your celebrity is or not; your not off limits when rumors are concerned. I thought of some rumors and/or stories that have circulated over the years about a few celebrities. Some are considered urban legends. I'm sure you all are familiar with these stories though. If not then you are learning something new! Lil' Kim's stomach pump I remember the story going around about Lil' Kim having her stomach pumped. I'm not sure if it were ever confirmed though. Drake's "Over" is one of my favorite songs right now and its nice to finally see the video to it and its a decent video in my opinion. Not many videos really win me over but the other comments I have read from others have given this video kudos. Check it out! I think this is one of Ginuwine's more underrated albums. There are a lot of hidden gems on this album like "No 1 Fan" which I always imagined as a single. Everytime I listened to it; I envisioned a video of the song that featured Aaliyah as the groupie fan. My vision never came to friction though. There is the Aaliyah assisted song; "Final Warning" which features Aaliyah and Ginuwine going back and forth and Static Major(I presume) on backing vocals. The song is very playful and one of my favorites on this album. Then there was the single; "None Of Ur Friends Business" which featured future wife to be; Sole. The two had quite a chemistry in the video which translated into marriage and a boatload of kids. There are a lot of fun moments on this album and Ginuwine doesn't take himself too serious here. This is one of my favorite songs from Ginuwine but I never knew there was a video for this song until now! I feel kinda stupid for not knowing. The premise for the video though is Ginuwine's love interest is simply too busy for him and tries her best to balance her work and spending time with him. Check it out!
