By now, I think we all have heard about the unfortunate and untimely passing of R&B legend Natalie Cole. Her passing definitely took me by surprise. I was in the gym this morning and during a break from my workout, is when I learned of the saddening news. Natalie Cole and I share the same birthday. May Natalie rest in peace. Prayers to her family and friends. Natalie has won 9 Grammy awards. She is known perhaps for her biggest hit, "Unforgettable" which she sang with her late father Nat King Cole. Her other hits include, "Mr. Melody", "Miss You Like Crazy", and "Pink Cadillac". Over the years Natalie has had many health issues due to her drug use back in the 80s. Natalie passed away in Los Angeles on December 31. :(

All the songs here have one thing in common. They all deal with cars or are associated with cars. The-Dream sang about 'Fast Car' and Mya was 'Ridin' looking around for a cheating lover. They are the songs that made us appreciate cars even more. Check them out! Fast Car, The-Dream This was one of my favorite songs on The-Dream's debut album(which for some reason I can't think of the name right now). Anyway the beat was very fast and the melody very catchy. Even my little niece had made a dance step to the song. Pink Cadillac, Natalie Cole I really don't know this song too much. I even included in an earlier 'music feed' regarding the use of colors in songs. This is one of Natalie's biggest hits though. Ridin', Mya Cheating lovers beware. This is what your girl is doing when your out cheating and I actually know a few girls who have done this. Ridin' Spinners, Three 6 Mafia This is one of my favorite songs from Three 6 Mafia! The song feat...

Colors represent many emotions. Blue can refer to sadness, and black can refer to death. The song titles below all feature colors in the title. Check them out! Blu Is A Mood, Blu Cantrell This is one of my favorite songs on Blu Cantrell's debut album, "So Blu". The song was produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and describes everything that is related to the color blue. Red Light Special, TLC To be honest I don't know what the red light special is but I guess one can assume and be right. Orange Moon, Erykah Badu This is a song I really like from Erykah Badu's "Mama's Gun" album. Actually I had just pulled this album out too and listened to it. Green Light, Beyonce My friend and I be bumping to this in her car. She is one of Beyonce's biggest stans! Pink Cadillac, Natalie Cole I don't know this song that well but it came to my head as I was coming up with songs for this post. Black Roses, Trey Songz This is a song I really like from Trey Son...
