Sorry for the lack of updates guys but I'm back with a few things I wanted to talk about. First, "American Idol" is being brought back after being off the air for 2 years or so. FOX cancelled the series after 15 or so seasons and now ABC will revive the show. There is no word on who will host and sit on the judging panel. What would be interesting though is if they got Ryan, Paula, Randy, and Simon. Do you think it could happen? Perhaps, for the right price. Speaking of money, did you contribute to the Go Fund Me for TLC to kick start their new album? Well their new self-titled album will be released on June 30. The album features the single, "Way Back" featuring Snoop Dogg and the new song, "Haters". TLC is currently on tour overseas and will soon kick off their 90s tour with other 90s act. Mariah Carey recently spoke out about her time on "American Idol" for the 59th time. She calls the experience "abusive" and even told the reporter that she was being drove to drink just from talking about the past experience. What a diva Mariah! "American Idol" was last year! I wish people would stop asking Mariah about her time on there. We all know it wasn't a good experience for her. Faith Evans is being sued by a promoter who paid her upfront for an upcoming concert performance. It turns out after booking the gig, Faith also booked the gig to do the "Bad Boy Reunion Tour". Faith is one of the featured artists on that bill and people are expecting to see her on both tours. What's a girl to do? So another week has passed and Frank Ocean's upcoming album, "Boys Don't Cry" has not been released. Kanye West is making news for showing up during "American Idol" auditions. The rapper performed his hit single, "Gold Digger". I'm sure the surprise appearance will air this season on "American Idol". John Legend and his wife have announced that they are with child. This is the first child for both. Congrats! Rita Ora says she wanted to remake "Lady Marmalade" made famous by Patti LaBelle complete with Charli XCX, Miley Cyrus, and Iggy Azalea. Iggy immediately responded and said she wants no part of the collaboration! Besides "Lady Marmalade" was already covered in the past by Pink, Missy Elliott, Lil' Kim, Christina Aguilera, and Mya. Not to say that it can't be made again but the whole idea orchestrated by Rita Ora was a very random thought. Maybe they all should try remaking a song that hasn't been remade yet. What do you think? The big news today is that FOX has cancelled "American Idol" after 15 seasons. The show will air its finale on May 2016. Many were surprised by this news only because the cancellation of "American Idol" has been long overdue. Speaking of FOX, they had their Upfront today which is when the network announces their new shows, returning shows, and the stars of the various shows. FOX's #1 new show "Empire" was of course the talk of the town as the cast showed up minus Terrance Howard. I wonder why he wasn't in attendance? Anyway Brandy and Jennifer Hudson joined the cast. And with that being said its been announced that NeYo, Lenny Kravitz, and Alicia Keys will guest star on the new season of the show.
