A few days ago it was reported that singer, Mariah Carey was robbed of 50K(50 thousand) dollars worth of jewelry and purses. I'm thinking her backup dancers are to blame because maybe they are not getting paid enough to be on tour with her. I know Mariah Carey casually hangs out with her backup dancers and even dates them so what makes you think they wouldn't rob her? I'm sure they have been throughout her home on various occasions and have been privy to see many of the lavish items Mariah owns. What makes you think one of those snakes with an axe to grind for whatever reason didn't go upstairs in her room and steal one of her Gucci bags? Do you all remember when it was reported some time ago that Keyshia Cole allegedly beat the brakes off some woman? The unknown woman at the time was dating Cole's ex, Birdman "Baby" Williams. Now the woman has come forward and has filed a $4 million lawsuit against Keyshia Cole. This was a strange time for Keyshia because she had been dumped by not only Birdman but also Bow Wow. MUSIC BITS: BET held its annual "Black Girls Rock" show and it brought out such stars as Ciara, Tracee Ellis Ross("black-ish"), Faith Evans, Fantasia, Lalah Hatahway, Janelle Monae, and many more. Any news is good news.  Greetings everyone! Consider this blog post the Destiny's Child edition as all the news is about those either in Destiny's Child or affiliated with the group. I'll start things off by sharing my thoughts about the #PoorMichelle topics on Twitter. I guess I didn't pay it much mind because Michelle has always been the punching bag of Destiny's Child. I, myself doesn't have anything personally against her except I think she is a little awkward but who isn't these days. Apparently the #PoorMichelle topic got to Michelle and she responded back in a ladylike fashion instead of bowing to the ignorance that was displayed. Nice job Michelle! It turns out Michelle is not too privy of Beyonce singing about her sex life on her new self-titled album. Michelle says "we don't need to know all that". Maybe not. I think I've said this before, once you've done a blog as long as I have, you think you've run out of things to talk about. I think I may of rehashed some topics on here over the years but there's nothing like a fresh update. Over the last few years we have seen several of our Black R&B artists shift from major record labels to indie record labels. Some of the moves have been shocking at best. Some artists have greatly been impacted by moving to an indie label while other artists have suffered and struggle to keep their careers afloat. Kelly Price vs. Chante' Moore & Lil' Mo Whether you watch TV One's R&B Divas L.A . or not I'm sure you've heard of the impending beef between singers Kelly Price, Chante' Moore, and Lil' Mo. If you follow the show the show spearheaded by Kelly Price, or the concept whether to do a monologue was soon overtaken by Chante' Moore. Kelly eventually became irritated and upset about the revelation and soon took heed. It resulted in some not so subliminal shade, threats, and various accusations. It was back in February when Keyshia Cole took to Twitter to express her disdain towards Michelle Williams during the Super Bowl Half Time performance. Whether or not the group is still recording for Atlantic Records is another story. As more details emerge regarding Day 26 and their return I will let you know. Michelle Williams of Destiny's Child fame will release her new album Journey To Freedom on February 25, 2014. Boy that's quite awhile from now. I thought her album was coming much sooner than that. Her current single If We Had Your Eyes with a remix featuring Fantasia will be available soon if its not already. Now that I think about it releasing in February might be smart for Michelle and probably Ashanti too. Its a lot of big releases coming out in the next few months and Michelle would only get lost in the shuffle. Then again she might get lost in February too! Oops! That wasn't nice of me.

Michelle Williams is back! The former Destiny's Child singer will release a new single If We Had Your Eyes on June 24. The song is the first single from her upcoming album which will be released through the eOne label. Recently friend Beyonce penned an intimate letter to Michelle praising her performance in theatre for her role in the show Fela! In Hip Hop News...Kanye Wests' new album Yeezus has leaked out after being prematurely available on a password only site. She has a new single; "Love Gun" which was just released. I haven't heard it yet so I reserve my judgment. With her new album; "Here I Am" set to hit stores this September, Kelly Rowland is starting to make the press rounds. One question that constantly comes up from interviewers is "Beyonce" and Kelly is sick of discussing her(it). I can understand though. She is also tired of everyone pitting the two against one another. Funny thing is I turned on the radio this morning and they were talking about Kelly and Beyonce. The interesting thing is that Kelly wants people to start talking about Michelle and not just her and Beyonce. She is basically saying there is three members to Destiny's Child and Michelle deserves some credits and mentions along the way.
