Does Ashanti have new music on the way? Well that's the way it looks judging from her social media pages. The singer posted a video of herself adorned in a glittery dress walking in slow motion over an intoxicating instrumental. Ashanti included the hashtag #JustWaitOnIt signaling there is new music on the way. Are you all here for i? I know I am. I like Ashanti and I'm ready for some new music. Trey Songz, Migos and Bruno Mars are the first names announced as performers at this year's BET Awards. As much as I like Trey Songz, I'm not really sure why he gets a performance spot considering his latest album, "Tremaine" did horribly in sales as did the singles. I just found the whole project underwhelming. None of the singles grabbed me and I just felt like the whole sex thing this time comes off more as desperate than believable. It seems prior to Trey Songz releasing his newest album, "Tremaine" he's been embroiled in some pretty high profile celebrity feuds. Now whether or not these feuds are simply for publicity purposes or not, you will have to decide. I have decided to profile some of the feuds Trey has had publicly in the last few months or so because boy has it been a few. Remember when Trey got arrested while performing in Detroit? Trey Songz says Nicki Minaj wasn't "shit" before appearing on his hit single, "Bottoms Up". He also goes to say he's had issued with fellow singer, August Alsina. "shEther" Hey guys! I will be the first to inform you that today's post is a lengthy one. I discuss in detail the new dis track from Remy Ma aimed at Nicki Minaj. Remy Ma has everyone talking when she dropped the the 7 minute dis track, "shEther" aimed at Nicki Minaj. Social media was abuzz as one would imagine with various reactions, funny memes, and opinions. In the track, Remy talks bad about Nicki's plastic surgery, her alleged sexual relationship with the Young Money camp, her alleged use of drugs, sleeping with Trey Songz, etc. It was a very revealing and surprising vicious dis track. I sat in awe in the back of my friend's truck as we all listened. I don't know exactly what the final straw was for Remy but I'm guessing it was the subliminal tracks that Nicki Minaj was featured on where she was taking shots at Remy. "I Don't..." Mariah Carey previewed her new single, "I Don't(Like To Sing Live Anymore)" last night on her show, "Mariah's World". The single will be available on iTunes on February 3. The song samples the 1997 hit, "Where I Wanna Be" from Donnell Jones. Mariah posted a video of herself in the studio lip syncing the song. I will say the song doesn't sound bad and it may due well because the Lambs want Mariah to have another hit and she just might.  Trey Songz may be dealing with a lawsuit from kooky actress Keke Palmer but that hasn't stopped him from being the ladies man that he is. So Kanye West has everyone talking again like he tends to do. This time people are outraged over his behavior at the Grammy awards telecast. When it came time to reveal the winner of Album of the Year, the winner was Beck(song: Loser). I personally hadn't heard Beck's album but I do know who he is. I can't remember who else was nominated besides Beyonce, who many thought was a shoe in for the coveted award. And that's what this is all about. Kanye started to storm the Grammy stage similar to how he did many years ago at the MTV awards, but he sat down before entirely gracing the stage. At the time the gesture was funny but now people are outraged and upset at Kanye and also people are livid over Beyonce's fans, the Beyhive for posting petitions and all that other jargon. SONGZ IN A MINOR: While gay rumors certainly didn't hinder his career in the past, Trey Songz lives up to his title of Mr. Steal Ya Girl and his title was recently questioned by labelmate Meek Mill. Meek posted on his Twitter that he has to ask a potential date if she's slept with Trey Songz insinuating Trey gets around. Trey responded knocking the notion and again sending a little shade a day or so later by saying that no one is "dry snitching". I believe that was a dig at Meek but what do I know? Something that I do know is that Mariah Carey has signed to Epic Records. This puts Mariah back under the Sony wing where her career began and flourished in the 90s. L.A. It is that time of the year where you all will start seeing every blogger post their year end list of favorite albums and the like. Since there isn't much news really worth reporting today, I figure I'll take some time to mention my favorite albums of 2014. There weren't many albums that I found all that amusing like most of you. I usually don't like most albums as a whole. I usually only like a handful of songs but these albums mentioned below struck a chord with me. I'll first start with Bravehear t by Ashanti. It was a long road to getting this album released but once she did, it debuted in Pop top 10 signifying Ashanti's staying power over the years. For such a long wait I felt the music on Braveheart was really good and Ashanti previewed a lot of the music beforehand so there was a lot to look forward to. My favorite song is Early In The Morning featuring French Montana. Oh when I first heard it, the song stayed on repeat. I even got my niece liking it....

FAN LOVE: J. Cole visited a fan's house who tweeted him to come over since she is one of his biggest fans. I remember when Trey Songz did that and it was recorded and the fan asked him how big he was? lol Anyway I can only imagine what happened when the cameras cut off. You know Trey Songz has the reputation to sleep with his adoring fans. I'm a fan of Trey Songz as well so I wonder does that mean he'll sleep with me too? I guess that's wishful thinking on my part but I do love his Trigga album. It was one of my favorite this year. Okay back to J. PHOTO FINISH: Some girl has come forward saying that K. Michelle stole her photo concept and used for her new album Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart which was released today! If you've seen the cover art work for K.'s new album you see K. completely naked adorned with roses or nothing at all. The woman in question showed off her own photos that she took awhile back allegedly and claims that K took her idea and was on social media asking people what she should do? I mean if you feel the woman stole your ideas then you should take legal action idiot! It's funny though how this came out right when K is releasing her album. The cover art and the promo photos have been around for awhile. I'm guessing the accuser is just now seeing the photos or what. MUSIC BITS: Trey Songz just turned 30 and the singer had a birthday bash that was attended by Chris Brown among others. Happy Birthday Trigga! People are saying T.I. and Tiny's daughter may have had her eye color changed like her Mother's but I haven't paid enough attention to care. Have you? Rick Ross' artist Fat Trel was involved in a car accident which left one friend hospitalized. When police showed up to the scene, he began acting belligerent and was eventually arrested. Poor thing! Usher brought the house down during his recent tour stop at the world famous Staples Center arena. Usher brought out Chris Brown, August Alsina, and Kid Ink(song: Body Language ). Usher performed a slew of his old hits and some new music which will likely be featuring on an upcoming album. 

HAPPY COUPLE: Trey Songz and Mila J are the newest couple of the scene. The two collaborated on Trey's new album Trigga on the song Disrespectful. The two are seen cuddling up together in pictures. What do you think about Trey Songz and Mila J. being a couple? Judging from the picture I've seen the two make a good couple. I just feel like Trey is a playboy and doesn't look like the type to settle down anytime soon but then again maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. MUSIC BITS: Rick Ross has hooked up with R. Kelly for his new single, Keep Doing That(Rich Girl) and will be released soon. Rick Ross' new album Hood Billionaire will be available this November. Jhene Aiko debuts at #3 on The Billboard 200 Album charts with her album Souled Out . The album sold 69,000 copies in its first week. Chris Brown's new album X is slated to debut at #2 next week with sales upwards of 135,000 to 200,000 units. 

RUN AWAY: The rumors regarding the discord in the marriage between Jay Z and Beyoncé continue to ignite. Now reports are saying that the beloved couple are traveling separate and staying in separate hotels during their On The Run tour. I told you this tour is really the On The Run..from each other tour. But true to form Jay Z and Beyoncé remain the consummate professionals. Because from what I've seen via Instagram the chemistry between the married couple seems pretty still intact. PULL THE TRIGGA: Though his new album Trigga just dropped today, it appears that Trey Songzs' news album will debut at #1 next week. Sales are said to be estimated around the 85-95K mark. Trigga features the singles Na Na , Foreign, Smart Phones , and more. 

DIVORCE COURT: The Beyoncé & Jay Z divorce rumors continue to linger on. Reports are now saying that Jay Z has been having an affair with singer Mya. If you recall the two collaborated the hit song Best Of Me Remix . There was some talk then that the pair had been romantically involved but then both were single. The report also goes on to say that Jay Z has been taking care of Mya for the last few years. What do you think? Is there some truth to the Jay Z cheating rumors or nah? I say this because these rumors have legs, like its a story that is not going away. Of course this all comes on the heels of Beyoncé & Jay Z's On The Run tour. BIRTHDAY GIRL: Happy Birthday to Solange. The singer sister of Beyoncé turns 28. The singer is engaged to marry her 51 year old boyfriend Alan Ferguson. Hey! I had no idea her boyfriend was 51 years old. Well go head Solange and can't wait to hear your new album. I just know that its going to be good. Any news is better than no news.  IT'S NOT RIGHT BUT ITS OKAY: The Whitney Houston biopic being produced by Lifetime finally has a star! YaYa Dacosta of ANTM(America's Next Top Model) will star as Whitney and the movie will chronicle her tumultuous years with ex-husband Bobby Brown. If you recall this is the move that Houston's family doesn't want made. They prefer that her story be shared on the big screen. Personally they can also do a big screen adaptation as well. The Lifetime movie is being directed by former cast mate from Waiting To Exhale, Angela Bassett. I remember watching Wendy and she was interviewing Kimberly Elise(Hit The Floor) and Wendy asked her, her thoughts on the biopic. Kimberly stated that the network "should respect the wishes of the family".
