Avant feat. Keke Wyatt - You & I Avant returns with his new single You & I featuring frequent duet partner Keke Wyatt(who can currently be seen on TVOne's R&B Divas ). You & I is said to impact Urban AC(Adult Contemporary) radio on September 10. As for Avant's upcoming album Face The Music you will have to wait until February 5 to cop it! 

Avant is back! He will be releasing a new single with KeKe Wyatt titled You & I . It is the first single from his upcoming album Face The Music in stores and online February 5, 2013.  Keyshia Cole has announced the guests to appear on her upcoming album Woman To Woman (rumored to be released on October 16). Making guest appearances are Robin Thicke, Meek Mill, and Ashanti(who appears on the title track).  The album's first single Enough Of No Love featuring Lil' Wayne currently sits at #14 on the R&B charts and debuted at #94 on the Hot 100 charts. Before she went crazy on us by allegedly stabbing her husband; KeKe Wyatt had a few hits with former singing partner Avant and "Nothing In This World" is one of their many gems.

R. Kelly and Avant are both releasing new albums just one week apart. R. Kelly's "Love Letter" will be released on December 14 while Avant's 'The Letter" will arrive on December 21. What I find interesting is that both album titles contain the word "letter". Coincidence or not? Well for starters both singers hail from Chicago. Avant's "The Letter" was supposed to be out a few months ago but was pushed back. I even think his album had a different title at one point. Now in no way shape or form am I promoting a rivalry; I just noticed how odd it was that they both have albums coming out with the same "letter" title. R. Kelly's "Love Letter" is his latest album and it pays homage to music of the 50s and 60s as evident on his first single; "When A Woman Loves". I don't even remember what Avant's first single is but I'm sure his album won't be an ode to 50s and 60s music. So which album will...

Monica has chosen "Here I Am" as her third single from her gold album, "Still Standing". The radio version will feature Trey Songz. "Here I Am" was originally planned to be the second single but was favored for "Love All Over Me" which was a huge hit. "Here" was produced by Polow Da Don and he is executive producing her new album. Avant's new album will be titled, "The Letter" and not "Wake Up" as I previously reported. The album will be in stores on December 7. The first single is "Kiss Goodbye". The singer will perform the new single on September 28 on "The Mo'Nique Show", the same day it will impact radio. Be on the look out for that. Cee-Lo will release his new album, "The Lady Killer" on November 9. The album is led by the single, "Fuck You" which is taking off on radio and YouTube. Radio version of the song is "Forget You".

Avant is returning with a new album, "Wake Up" in stores and online December 7. The singer will release, "Kiss Goodbye" as the album's first single. The singer is now signed to Verve/Universal Records. Avant's album is just another album to add to the list of album being released this Holiday. Mary J. Blige is working on a new album which is slated to be released this January. The new album is tentatively titled, "LuvHer". A few songs including "Break Up To Make Up" have leaked out and Mary has said the songs are just that; leaks. Had the song took off, it would of became the first single! Am I right or wrong? Make sure you be on the look out for the new Mary J. Blige album. Anita Baker will be honored at this years Soul Train Music Awards which will air on BET and Centric on November 28 at 9 p.m. eastern time. In My Own Words: So Kanye West is back to saying he's not gay! I think you should just say it once and leave it at that. He along with Ne-Yo keep feeling the need to defend themselves every time. Personally I never thought Kanye West way gay anyway. Now as far as some other musicians are concerned that's a different story but I won't go there. Avant will release his Capitol Records debut, "Avant" on December 9. The album is preceded by first single, "When It Hurts" which is already a R&B hit. I don't have much info on the album right now. With Brandy's album also due on December 9 leaking last week, I'm sure Avant's will be leaking pretty soon. I'm not too big on Avant but I know the ladies love him.

Music News: Mariah Carey is said to have let go of famous manager Benny Medina. If you know of Medina he has aided the careers of Will Smith and Usher. It is said that Mariah was unhappy with Medina possibly reforming with JLO and her latest album, "E=MC2" only going platinum.
