Ameriie revealed that she has two albums in the works and she's now indie. Indie seems to be the way to go these days anyway. Her first album Cymatika has been in the works for awhile and will be out by years end as well as Bili. The singer gushed about two collaborations from females that's she's mum about at the moment. Ameriie recently released her new single All I Want which features Ameriie's signature sound. Nicki Minaj, Jhene Aiko, and August Alsina has been added as performers for this year's BET Awards airing on Sunday June 29. They will join previously announced performers Jennifer Hudson, Lil' Wayne, and Drake. I'm not sure how I feel about August Alsina performing. I'm just hoping he doesn't act a fool as usual.

Beyonce' will release two new singles to coincide with the release of her new self-titled album. Blow , produced by Pharrell will be released to Top 40 radio next week. The Jay Z collaboration Drunk In Love will be released to Urban radio next week as well. Also look for the song XO to debut on Top 40 radio in early 2014 as well. In other music news...Mariah Carey will appear on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live! on December 22. This will mark the first appearance on the show for Carey. And I read that Ameriie may be closing in on a deal to distribute her newest album through Epic Records. If you recall Ameriie had previously been signed to Def Jam and Columbia Records. She's been diligently working on new music for the last few years. Maybe 2014 will be the year we get to hear it all!

We can expect a new Mariah Carey album on July 23. The album will include the hit single #Beautiful featuring Miguel. For the new album Mariah worked with Rodney Jerkins, Bryan Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri, R. Kelly, The-Dream, and more. I'm liking #Beautiful and I'm really looking forward to a new Mariah Carey album. I hope she really brings it and on a totally different note; she know she has to do better on the live performances. They have been atrocious so far this era. We haven't heard from Ameriie in awhile but she's been in the studio working on new music. The singer is working on two albums which may turn out to be a trilogy. Cymatika Vol. 1 and 2 are currently in the works. No word on when to expect a release date. I have read that Ameriie has been working on new music for awhile. I'm not sure what her label situation is right now but that could be one of the hold ups.

What indie label to be exact is not known at this time. Ameriie has revealed that her upcoming album will be released on an independent label. Ameriie had previously been signed to Def Jam Records and Columbia Records. She says the album is 80% done but I've been hearing that for quite awhile. I would think the album is finished by now. Nonetheless be on the look out for that! Kelly Rowland is already at work on a new album even after recently releasing her "Here I Am" album just a month ago. Producer Rico Love(worked with Pleasure P) is at the helm for the new album which is said to arrive a lot sooner than we think. Robin Thicke's new album is titled; "I'm An Animal"? Supposedly. The title track leaked out though. YouTube it!

Like It Used To Be Come With Me Rolling Down My Face Not The Only One Talkin' About "Touch" was the second album from Amerie and it featured the hit single; "1 Thing". The title track was also released featuring a rap from T.I. which was different from the album version. The album is very good in my opinion and I think was overlooked. After this though; Amerie lost me with her other albums.

Though the album; "Cymatika Vol. 1" isn't due in stores until Spring 2012; the singer is already discussing the album and its first single; "Firestarter" which is based on the movie starring Drew Barrymore. The album; I believe is much like a concept album and if you know anything about those; they are kind of hit and miss. Ameriie is someone who goes left anyway but I feel like she is trying to hard to be different nowadays. I'm just not feeling it. Anyway congrats to her again cause she did just get married to Lenny Nicholson who was her A&R. Miguel will release; "Girls Like You" as the 4th single from album; "All I Want Is You" which is in stores and online now. Even though his current single; "Quickie" is climbing up the charts; the news about the upcoming single had been revealed as well. Robin Thicke has revealed that he is working on his fifth album. As its been mentioned before Ne-Yo is working on a new album which he plans as a star studded one and next on his collaborative list is Mrs. Carter herself; Beyonce. The two collaborated on "Irreplaceable" before but this time Ne-Yo wants to lock her in for a duet. Nivea has shot down the rumors that she was arrested for DUI after attending the wedding of Lil' Wayne's ex-wife; Toya; who has her own reality show appearing on BET. Ex-husband; The-Dream has even come forward and denied the rumors that suggested Nivea hit a tree while her youngest child was in the car. I think this is the most we've talked about Nivea since she had that video out with Lil' Wayne called; "Love Hurts". I remember she was supposed to release an album but I'm not sure what happened with that. Clearly Nivea doesn't have to work with all the child support she gets from both Lil' Wayne and The-Dream.
