In a video that has since gone viral, Nicki Minaj called out her detractors(Remy Ma) regarding her status in the game(in the industry) by spelling out P R A G U E(noting that an unnamed person(Remy Ma perhaps) can't spell) before bragging and strutting to her airplane. The video has since birthed what is being called the "#NickiMinajChallenge" where it features regular social media users as well as celebrities(actress: Zoe Kravitz) mimicking Nicki's strut after proclaiming their own frustrations in a comical way(sheesh I tried to explain the video as best I could and I still don't think I did a good job). Anyway, Jay Z is the first rapper to be inducted in the Songwriter's Hall of Fame. Jay Z thanked his admirers, fans and inspirations including Nas, Foxy Brown, Rick Ross, etc. Congrats to him! Nicki Minaj has topped Aretha Franklin as the female with the most Hot 100 hits. Nicki placed three new songs on the chart this week with "No Frauds" leading the pack debuting at the #14. Nicki now has 76 Hot 100 chart entries. 32 of those entries are her as the lead artist and the other 44 are her as the featured artist. Nicki is currently filming the video to "No Frauds" in London. Congrats Nicki!  Model and actor Tyson Beckford was a guest on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live" and he was asked about his feud with Chris Brown. Tyson insinuated that Brown was on "drugs"(as its been reported by the media) and suggested he get professional help. I couldn't agree more. "Damn" Trina! Trina posted a live video to her Facebook account on the set of her new video "Damn". The video will serve as the first single and video from her upcoming album. Trina said the song will be released on January 6 and it features Canadian singer Tory Lanez who was also present in the live video. The live video was from a club in Philly where Tory is currently touring at. No word on when Trina's new album will start but I am happy that Trina is moving right along and putting out her long awaited follow up to "Amazin" which was released back in 2010 believe it or not.  Rihanna's new single, "Love On The Brain" has just reached the top 20 on the Pop chart and it sets a new record for Rihanna. Trina represents for sluts. Trina was one of the many celebrities that joined Amber Rose and her "Slut Walk" event. Other celebrities in attendance included Blac Chyna, Ariane(show: "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta), and Perez Hilton. Trina performed a bevy of hits including, "Fuck Boy", "B R Right" and "Look Back At It". Moore, who is in a battle with co-star, Shereé Whitfield over whose new house would be completed first, finds the two stars nearly comes to blows during the season 9 trailer. In the trailer, Kenya is seen saying that Shereé's mother, Thelma has her name on the house so therefore its not really Shereé's. Wendy offered her insight as she usually does making light of the fact that Kenya's own mother wouldn't even open the door for her. Kenya shared on the past season that her mother has been estranged since she was a child and won't acknowledge her. Trina gets bad In a surprising turn of events, French Montana brought out his rumored ex-girlfriend, Trina during the Miami leg of the Bad Boy reunion tour. Trina performed her underground hit song, "Fuck Boy" which many have speculated is about French Montana. French pranced around the stage with a towel on his head as Trina rapped to the backing trap, barely keeping up with it. I heard Lil' Kim also had a similar problem. My anaconda don't... A few details have emerged regarding the upcoming album from Nicki Minaj. One producer states that the new album is "more pop than rap" but to me that's not much of a surprise, though Nicki's albums have a fair mix of both genres. It's also rumored that the album is titled, "NM4". The "NM" is obviously her initials and the "4" marks her fourth album. Kenya's story line will be a focal point for season 9 of "RHOA" I'm a huge fan of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and with season 9 approaching and no shortage of news when it comes to the show's stars, I figured I'd do a rundown of what we can expect in the new season. He did say he called her to confirm the news and she said "yes I'm pregnant". After some not so memorable Twitter rants, Azealia issued a lengthy apology to her fans that's she offended recently and over the years. Chris Brown's ex, Karrueche Tran has come out and denied reports that Chris Brown had her car repossessed. The story goes Brown bought Tran a new car in order to get back in her good graces. Why? Because duh it was discovered he fathered an infant child with some groupie girl. And since Tran hasn't taken Brown back yet, he reportedly wanted the car back, a Porsche to be exact!
