Unfortunately many of these collaborations never quite came to friction.  It was however exciting thinking about the possible prospect of some of the collaborations. To me Johnny Gill danced around the question about his sexuality but at the end of the day no one cares either way. I can never remember Johnny Gill ever being linked to any woman. The only person I've only heard him linked to is Eddie Murphy.

New Edition singer Johnny Gill waged a ferociously bitter Twitter war against the CEO of his record label last week -- calling her "f**king nuts" -- and now she's taking his ass to court. The producer, Ira DeWitt -- wife of St. Louis Cardinals owner Bill DeWitt -- claims Johnny was PISSED when a song rumored to be on his upcoming album was leaked on the Internet ... and he wrongly blamed her. According to the lawsuit, filed Thursday in L.A. County Superior Court, DeWitt claims she had nothing to do with the leak -- but Gill attacked her on Twitter anyway ... calling her "deranged" and "f**kng nuts." DeWitt also claims Gill tweeted defamatory statements about her business ... saying her record company is a sham and that she only liked the leaked recording because she had a "hard on" for one of the song's producers. DeWitt claims Gill has damaged her reputation -- so she's suing for unspecified damages ... AND ...

Kanye West has been busy prepping the release of his Jay-Z duet album; "Watch The Throne" available August 8 on iTunes. The physical copy of the album will surface a few days later; August 12? I'm not really sure. I'm not all that interested in personally. I do hear "Otis" on the radio quite a bit and I think I like it. Anyway Kanye West is still releasing singles from his current album; "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy". He revealed that he new single will be "Lost In This World". Johnny Gill will release his new album; "Still Winning". The album features the single; "In The Mood". The album will be in stores and online September 20. I still haven't heard the song in full. The video for new single; "Red Nation" featuring Lil' Wayne won't be playing on BET or MTV. It's not like MTV is showing videos anyway but Game announced via his twitter that the banned video will premiere online Thursday courtesy of him. Game's upcoming album; "The R.E.D. Album" will be in stores and online this August. Oh yeah...the reason for the ban was the video displays too much gang affiliated content! Always something huh? Whitney Houston has not only checked herself into rehab but she's in hot water with Prince. After attending a few of his concerts; Whitney Houston took the stage with Chaka Khan and Prince.
