I wouldn't be surprised if you have not heard of Billy Lawrence. Besides I didn't know who she was prior to 1997. I was introduced to Billy Lawrence through a friend of mine. He had been in Kmart and heard her album there. You remember when you used to be able to go in a record store and hear the album before you bought it? Well it was one of those cases. Always trusting his musical tastes; I went out on a limb and had my mother buy the album for me. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Of course those she was looking at me like I was crazy. Like "Who is this?" Over the years Billy Lawrence has worked with artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Busta Rhymes, Blaque, and Mase. Billy Lawrence's voice can best be summed up as a light and airy.
