It feels like every time we hear about singer, Sean Kingston; its typically not a good thing. I'm just sitting here thinking what song(s) does Sean Kingston sing. The melody of one of his songs is in my head but I can't place the name of the song. I don't feel like looking it up either. It was announced last week that singer, Tamar Braxton had filed for divorce from her husband/manager; Vincent Herbert. Vincent Herbert was once sister Toni Braxton's manager and I believe that's how Tamar and Vince met. Tamar and Vince have been together for 9 years but I'm unsure if they've been married for 9 years or not. This news comes on the heels of Tamar's recent statement that she was quitting music to focus on rebuilding her marriage. Well since the marriage didn't work out, will Tamar resume her music career? I do believe that being on reality TV may of played a part in the dissolution of Tamar and Vince's marriage. Cardi B. is having the best week ever as her single, "Bodak Yellow" has FINALLY hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Bodak Yellow" is the first solo single from a female rapper to top the chart since 1998 when Lauryn Hill released "Doo Wop(That Thing)". Cardi has received congratulations from everyone from Missy Elliott to singer Taylor Swift(who sent the rapper flowers for her achievements). I would definitely say "Bodak Yellow" is the song of the Summer. Congrats to Cardi B. Remy Ma took home the award for Best Female Rapper last night at the BET awards breaking Nicki Minaj's 7 year streak! Remy definitely deserved the honor in my opinion. Someone pointed out the fact that Remy was the only nominee that actually released an album this year(her joint album with Fat Joe) which I didn't even realize. Female rappers have no problems putting out songs or getting on features but putting out albums is a totally different story. Congrats to Remy Ma for her win! Now as far as the BET awards is concerned, I was not home to watch the telecast as I was out being social. If you all were unaware of it but for some time Tiny Harris(T.I.'s ex wife) and Tamar had fallen out over unknown reasons. Well T.I. called out both women after Tiny posted a happy birthday shout out to her godson which is Tamar Braxton's son, Logan. Blige says she did not ask for her vocals to be removed from Faith Evans' debut album contrary to rumors. Faith Evans was on "The Breakfast Club" awhile back and said she received a call that Mary wanted her vocals removed from the song and Faith never knew why. Mary went on to say that she liked the duet and always wondered why her vocals her removed. Tamar Braxton recently revealed on "Braxton Family Values" that she suffered a miscarriage amidst her firing from "The Real" and all the other drama with her sisters. Drake's "More Life" album is slated to be the #1 album for a second week in a row.

Monica may be with child. Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I went out of town for the Holiday but now I am back. There are rumors swirling around that Monica may be with child.
