This weekend is the BET awards(airing Sunday June 25 on BET) so there are a lot of festivities commemorating the telecast this week. DJ Khaled held a party at his mansion and Safaree was in attendance and upon leaving(I assume) he was greeted by Meek Mill exiting a SUV and being run up upon by some goons likely associated with Meek Mill. The video of the melee quickly made the rounds on all the blogs. Meek Mill responded on social media insisting that he was in the studio complete with pictures and the like. But upon closer inspection, Meek Mill was present during the melee once more footage of the video surfaced. What problem could Meek Mill possibly have with Safaree? Hmmm...could it be one Nicki Minaj? I don't EVER recall Safaree bad mouthing Meek Mill in the press unless I missed something. I saw on Twitter that Beyoncé's team sent a letter to a fan who ran a website selling unauthorized merchandise. The fan who is allegedly said to be very young pleaded with Beyoncé and her team to not pursue legal action. I believe her team was simply telling her to stop selling the merchandise but she could still have her fan site. The reason being is Beyoncé's name is trademarked so if you are going to use her name(for say like a clothing design where her name appears), you have to get permission. Now who you go through to do all that, I don't know but because I'm not in the business of designing clothes. So Remy Ma was caught throwing shade at Nicki Minaj via a Instagram post posted by DJ Clue(that's a name I haven't heard in awhile). Mariah's ex in hospital Nick Cannon is in the hospital after a Lupus outbreak. The TV host and ex-husband to Mariah Carey was seen in hospital after pictures surfaced. Cannon stated that he would be spending the holidays in the hospital. There is no word yet if Mariah has taken the kids to see their father. Azealia at it again Azealia Banks is at again but this time for good reason. It seems that Nicki Minaj threw some shade at Azealia via her new video game, "Empire". In the video game, there is a caption between two characters in which one characters asks if they heard the "Fan2Sea" album. The other character replies that the album is "loud" and "annoying". So when I was at work this morning, I get a message from my friend with this long paragraph from Azealia Banks blasting Nicki Minaj and I thought where did this come from? Well it turns out it was from the video game caption that was subtle shade at Azealia Banks' "Fantasea" mixtape that was released a few years back. When I say Azealia went in on Nicki, she went in. Trouble in Paradise Based on various social media posts, one of Hip-Hop's premiere couples, Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill may be on the outs. Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill have both released cryptic and subliminal posts that seem to take shots at one another. Meek Mill has since deleted his Instagram page before posting a picture of Chanel sandals. Nicki Minaj also posted a picture of a pair of Chanel sandals with Beyoncé song lyrics as her caption. Some feel this may simply be a publicity stunt to drum attention for Nicki's upcoming project. What do you think? Apparently the last few weeks have been rough for the pair. A very old pic of me. Faith Evans was caught flashing the audience during the Bad Boy reunion tour. The singer was performing her hit single, "You Used To Love Me" when she started flinging her dress around flashing her vagina. While I don't feel this was intentional, Faith has yet to say anything regarding the mishap. I'm sure this wasn't done purposely because Faith has always been a class act.  Beanie Sigel was caught on tape being beat up by one of his Philly associates. Beanie recently revealed that he helped Meek Mill write a dis song to The Game.  Omarion is being sued over his hit song, "Post To Be". Apparently the song was ripped from another song titled, "Came To Do" and the person or people responsible is asking for $300,000 dollars. I'm surprised its not more considering how huge the song was. 

An old banner Things continue to heat up between Meek Mill and The Game and now Sean Kingston. The whole origin of the beef between Meek Mill and The Game stem from them both being in the same club one night, the same night Sean Kingston was there and robbed of $300,000 in jewelry. Apparently Meek Mill ratted out The Game and his squad as being the ones responsible for the theft. Fast forward to last week, Game appeared on stage during a show and chanted "Fuck Meek Mill" and how he wishes to "beat his ass". Now Sean Kingston has entered the ring in a profanity filled tirade against the Game. An old banner Game has ignited a firestorm of controversy after he appeared onstage and threatened to fight Meek Mill. The next day Game and some of his comrades nearly escaped a drive by shooting. Apparently someone in a Mustang fired some shots off near Game's truck. Many wondered if the shots were in anyway connected to Game being onstage the previous night roasting Meek Mill. Meek Mill responded with a meme shading Game and a series of memes followed between the two rambunctious emcees. Not one to be outdone, Game upped the ante by dragging Meek Mill's girlfriend, Nicki Minaj in the mess. Drake called Meek Mill a "pussy" while in Philly, Meek Mill's hometown. I guess it looks like these two won't be making up anytime soon. Drake is obviously feeling himself and with good reason. It's being reported that Andre 3000 threw some shots at Drake on Frank Ocean's "Blond" album. I heard the track in question but I didn't listen very closely to notice any jabs. Azealia Banks said she would smash Jay Z and she's mad at Beyoncé for standing her up in the studio. She claims Beyoncé bolted to the club to make sure Jay Z wasn't cheating. Hey all! I'm calling this blog post the "The Beef Edition" since both stories concentrate on rumored beef and beef that has been brewing for awhile now. Yesterday Fat Joe and Remy Ma released the remix to their hit single, "All The Way Up" with a feature from Jay Z and newly recorded verses from Fat Joe and Remy Ma. Immediately after the song dropped Twitter was on fire for two reasons; the first being Jay-Z alluding to Beyoncé's "Lemonade" album but also some clever wordplay. Secondly many people felt that Remy took a few shots at Nicki on her verse. People were saying they felt like Remy was getting back at Nicki for a jab she threw years earlier. Remy even spoke about this back in the day but Remy and Nicki are pretty friendly so I'm sure its nothing more, nothing less but hey there's no such thing as bad publicity. Ne-Yo's ex-wife make some shocking claims earlier this week. She said while she was married to Ne-Yo, they engaged in threesomes but she didn't lick the kitty. Drake's alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller says Meek Mill punched him in Beverly Hill while he was shopping. Miller says Meek and his goons ran up on him and left him bloody and bruised. Apparently since Miller made Meek look like an ass lyrically, Meek had no choice but to bring it to him in person. In other music news, Big Sean and Jhené Aiko are collaborating on a duets album. Queen Latiah, Viola Davis, Idris Elba, and Uzo from "Orange Is The New Black" were winners last night at the SAG Awards. SAG stands for Screen Actors Guild. Elba won two awards last night while Latifah won for her portrayal of Bessie Smith in the HBO movie, "Bessie". Congratulations to all the winners! A lot going on in the music world, which is good I guess, since it gives me news to report and comment on. First up, is the beef between 50 Cent and Meek Mill. If Meek thought he couldn't keep up with Drake, 50 Cent is in a totally different category. It all started when Meek threw a dis at 50 Cent on his new EP. In typical 50 Cent fashion, he responded with a slew of insults on Instagram. He clowned Meek for his career being over to him simply needing to get Nicki(Minaj) pregnant so he can collect child support. Good morning readers! Sorry for the lack of updates! I can simply say I've been busy with this thing called life and just overall too lazy to update. But on to some music news, last week Big Sean's house was broken into. It all happened while the rapper was in Dubai. $150,000 in jewelry was taken and a ransom note was apparently left behind. There was an e-mail left to Big Sean stating that if he wanted his jewelry back, there were instructions to get it back. Many believe the burglary was an inside job. What do you think?
