Drake University. Sitting here watching the ID channel which is one of my favorite channels. I'm also eagerly awaiting to watch "American Horror Story: Roanoke". I wish I could say the same for "Empire" but I've pretty much checked out. I try to stick with the show because it is an African American show and I want to support my black people but the show is rather boring. It's only good now once the show goes on hiatus. I need them to step it up or else. I personally think we got spoiled in the first season because every episode then had a huge moment that had everyone talking. Now its not like that and everything is drawn out since the seasons are longer. But anyway I have a lot news tidbits for you today so continue reading. Azealia Banks might of made up with Erykah Badu but now she's feuding with Wale. The two had a heated exchange over the treatment of black women by black men. It is a topic that many can resonate with but things got a little too ugly if you ask me. Of course Azealia was trending on Twitter for her feud and not for her music but that's okay right? I don't know but I love Azealia and her music but I don't always agree with how she gets her point across. In other music news, Ciara and Future are at it again! Future now plans to countersue Ciara and went on to say that she is a "flop" with a "relatively large fan base". Ouch! But Future ain't lie though! Wale and Tinashe are in the studio making new music and probably fucking. Chingy is endorsing Donald Trump and looking and sounding a fool in the process. Also Stacey Dash of "Clueless" fame says BET should not be around. Keshia Knigh-Pulliam has gotten married to Ed Hartwell of "RHOA" fame. What would be crazy is if they signed up for season 9. Meanwhile Keshia's ex-boyfriend Big Tigger is still single and pretending to be straight. Macklemore dissed Iggy Azalea is a new song. Janet Jackson has been ordered to rest her vocal chords which has forced her to cancel some of her upcoming tour dates. Get well Janet! One of Janet's former collaborators, Nelly has been embroiled in an Internet feud with an old acquaintance. The guy who goes by @loosecannonslim on IG(Instagram) has been poking fun at Nelly's current boo, all the while posting and showing his admiration for Nelly's ex, Ashanti. I believe this all started when Nelly allegedly dissed the guy's baby Mother or maybe I have the story mixed up. Who knows? But the whole story is crazy nonetheless! Don't you think? And Wale was on "The Breakfast Club" a few days ago and I finally got around to hearing some of the audio to the shocking interview. So I was on my way to the gym last night, and I was listening to radio. I turned the dial to one of our local radio stations here and Frank Ocean's "Thinkin' About You" was on. Even though its a few years old, it was still refreshing to hear and it sounded brand new even to this day. It led me to wonder though, "Where the hell is Frank Ocean?" He promised us a new album in July and he ain't been seen on heard from since. I take it, he is perfecting the album or just going through the motions. Anyway I can't wait until we get a new album and I really hope its good if not better than "channelOrange" and certainly better that Miguel's "Wild Heart", who claims to make better music than Frank Ocean. It's funny because "this better music" that Miguel has been making lately has fallen on deaf ears. MUSIC BITS: Beyonce(and don't be mad I know a grave accent goes on the end of her name but I can't seem to make it work) has sent her lawyers to an internet website that has been using her image without her consent along with quotes coined by Queen Bey. The website is said to have thousands of images dedicated to Queen Bey. I personally haven't checked out the website but I hear its lot of nice things there dedicated to Queen Bey and like someone else said you better get there and get what you want before its gone. Any news is good news. Greetings on this warm Sunday evening as I write to you all. If you all are unfamiliar with producer Rico Love, he is a producer who has worked with the likes of Ashanti and Usher. He has a hit single on radio right now titled They Don't Know and his new single is titled (Bitches) Be Like . Well apparently there has been a beef brewing between singer/producer Rico Love and Wale for awhile. I just never took time to publicly write about it as I didn't think it was that big to begin with. Well apparently things just took a turn for the worse. Wale's assistant Miss Rici went on Twitter and dragged Rico Love calling him 'down low'. It all started because singer Tiara Thomas, who was featured on Wale's Bad song jumped ship and signed to Rico Love's label, Division 1. Foxy Brown breaks her silence! The reclusive and always controversial rapper has been pretty quiet for the past few years. She is now speaking out against a story that was published a few weeks ago. In the said story Foxy allegedly attended a baby shower and bad mouthed Jay-Z. Allegedly she said that Jay-Z gave her a sexually transmitted disease, took her virginity, and was "gay" among other things. Foxy denies the entire story and is threatening to sue MediaTakeOut who was responsible for the story. I read about the story a few weeks ago and I thought it was pretty far fetched and I wondered where such a story even came from. Foxy can be pretty quiet but one thing for sure is whenever there is a vicious rumor about her she will come out whatever rock she's been hiding under and address it! Hello all! I have a few music tidbits for you to get your day started. Find out some of the big releases this June and who Monica is in the studio with now! I've been keeping you guys up with the progress of the new Monica album which seems to be moving at a rapid pace. I hope not too fast though. Monica was recently photographed in the studio with Ciara and I read that Future is behind the collaboration as well. Future is definitely the new T-Pain and he is all over radio. I actually prefer Future over T-Pain anyway. T-Pain was always very annoying to me and I hear is not too happy with Future...for taking his place! Ha!
