Just when we thought Remy Ma was over her feud with Nicki Minaj, she adds more fuel to the fire. On Sunday's telecast of MTV's Video Music Awards, Remy Ma called out Nicki Minaj saying "Nicki, what's good?" during a recorded segment with former BET VJ(Video Jockey) Terrance J. In the segment, Terrance J and Remy Ma are standing alongside one another. Terrance J mentions how Miley Cyrus had just stepped on his foot and that was when Remy Ma uttered the famous words Nicki Minaj once recited at Miley Cyrus during the Video Music Awards a few years prior. Of course the gesture started making the rounds on the blogs and social media platforms. I mean I'm not mad at Remy for calling out Nicki. Nicki's been dissing Remy on most of her collaborations and I'm sure Remy has some fire for Nicki on her upcoming album. Don't come for Bey Kanye West has ignited a storm of controversy during his most recent concert. During a break from the music Kanye made claims that MTV's Video Music Awards is rigged citing that was the reasoning for Beyoncé win for "Formation". MTV quickly shot back denying the claims saying that Beyoncé won fair and square due to the controversy behind the video and the cinematography. If that wasn't enough Kanye ended his concert early leaving many fans chanting "Fuck Kanye West!" I'm starting to think that people shouldn't even waste their money going to see Kanye at this point if he's going to abandon his set early. However it may still be worth the price of admission to simply attend and see what he is going to say or do for that matter. Mariah's "Empire" Mariah Carey will be guest starring on the new season of "Empire" which premieres on September 21. Some pictures surfaced a day or so ago of Mariah in the studio with star, Jussie Smollet(Jamal) so I'm guessing Mariah is probably playing herself? Will you be watching the new season?  Fresh off of their alleged altercation/argument, Diddy and Cassie are back on. Diddy recently helped Cassie celebrate her 30th birthday with a huge lavish party with family and friends. Speaking of Diddy, Future is said to allegedly have called Diddy an "old ass bitch". Some say the audio may be of Desiigner who sounds eerily like Future but Future has remained mum on the news.  Yung Joc has everyone talking with his new hairdo. Hey people! I know its very rare that I greet you all personally but I wanted to say this post is being labeled the "Shade Edition". A lot of shade was thrown last night and over the last few days. So I'll start with Lee Daniels, creator of "Empire" who shad some words for his dear friend Mariah Carey. He said "Mariah shouldn't do reality TV!". Mariah responded by saying her new show, "isn't a reality show". Take that Lee Daniels! Ha! On a totally different note, Madonna is facing a backlash after her Prince tribute fell on deaf ears. Madonna was joined by Stevie Wonder for a somber duet of Prince's "Purple Rain". While I feel the tribute left a lot to be desired, at least Billboard did pay tribute to Prince, had they not, people would of been upset about that. Immediately after the performance, BET shaded Madonna by posting a 15 second clip with the caption, "Yeah, we saw that. Don't worry. We got you"....

Hello all! So a few days ago K. Michelle announced that she was returning to "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta". Now this is something I definitely didn't see coming. If that's not enough her VH1 reality show will return in January as well. Then there's K.'s third album that she will be releasing in March, so expect a K. Michelle overload in 2016. In other music news, VH1 Soul will now be known as BET Soul. This news comes directly for Viacom who owns both networks including MTV. What do you all think about that? Videos are not as viable as they used to on the networks. Videos are made now more so YouTube, VEVO, and other third party sites. It's funny because MTV used to be primarily known for showing videos as well as BET and VH1. My, how things have changed. Personally my attention is so short these days, videos don't interest. MUSIC BITS: Good afternoon all! August Alsina got into a scuffle after a show in St. Louis in support of Mike Brown. Not really sure on the specifics of the scuffle but I did read that there was a lot going on behind the scenes that led to the unfortunate event. On a more positive note those of you who are waiting for new music from Lil' Wayne won't have to wait much longer. The emcee will release his new mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait 2 on January 20. Wayne has already unleashed several songs from the mixtape. Will you be downloading? Speaking of Cash Money former affiliate Tyga will get his own show on MTV but it won't feature his teenage lover or baby momma either and Tyga wants it that way understandably. But he should also understand that more people would watch if they did make appearances. Tyga's personal life often plays out in the media so we might as well see it on TV as well.
