KEEP HOPE ALIVE: Bobby Brown reported a few days ago via concert that his baby girl Bobbi Kristina was awake but according to Cissy Houston, grandmother of Bobbi Kristina says she's awake but "unresponsive". So there's still hope for this young lady and hopefully she pushes through. I reported this story a day or so ago and I was saying how some of the Houston family refuted Bobby's claims but the real deal was Bobby was correct all along but the Houston's wanted to clarify that statement and they did. I wasn't really checking for Jazmine or this album per say but I am pleasantly surprised at how good. I have found my first favorite album of the new year and its actually refreshing to find one so early in the new year and not so late in the year as it usually tends to be for me. Jazmine spoke about the album's title which refers to the famed reality shows that we all love to watch and some of Jazmine's own personal demons as well. If you recall Jazmine took a few years off after her second album but you can't tell listening to this album. Whatever transpired in the last three years with Jazmine makes for some very good material, great storytelling, and even better singing. MUSIC BITS: Rihanna has been named creative director of Puma. Fabulous and his girlfriend Emily B. are expecting their second child. Jazmine Sullivan will release her new album Reality Show on January 13. And if that's not enough new music for you Ne-Yo will relese his new album Non-fiction on January 27. Nicki Minaj says she is not dating Meek Mill but the rumor mills say otherwise. What do you think? I did see a headline of Nicki saying she never had to sleep with any man in the industry. But that doesn't mean she's hasn't had offers to. Speaking of Nicki Minaj, Lil' Kim's baby daddy Mr. Papers was being messy on Instagram by posting a picture of Nicki Minaj clad in a bikini which is likely for her 2015 calendar. The posting of the picture was an obvious dis to his baby mother for obvious reasons. I wonder why he put up that other than body appreciation. Maybe Lil' Kim won't let him see his child? They have produced songs for Usher(Good Kisser), Chris Brown(Superhuman w/ Keri Hilson), Nicki Minaj(Your Love), and Elle Varner(first album). Rihanna is also working on a new album and she is working with DJ Mustard. The famed producer revealed he did two songs for Rihanna's upcoming album. DJ Mustard has produced songs for 2 Chainz(I'm Different), Tyga(Rack City), YG(My Nigga), and J-Lo(Girls, Same Girl). Jazmine Sullivan is back with a new song Dumb featuring Meek Mill. Any news is good news. Jazmine Sullivan is back with a  new single titled Dumb featuring Meek Mill. The song will be released on May 12. Jazmine's new album is titled Reality Show . There is no release date for the album. You all looking forward to the new Jazmine Sullivan album and single?

Though "Excuse Me" has been getting radio play for awhile; the song is officially going for adds on April 25. The song is the third single to be released from the album; "Love Me Back". The sales to the album have been somewhat underwhelming compared to her debut album; "Fearless" and Jazmine has been missing in action. If you recall earlier there was a statement released by Jazmine which detailed her decision to give the music business a break. JoJo is returning to the music scene with new album; "Jumping Trains". The album's first single will be "The Other Woman". The video was just shot this past week and should be premiering in the near future. No word on when the album will be released. Lil' Kim is still angry and it was evident during a recent performance during some New Year's Eve festivities. Kim stopped midway through a song when she fired a warning to Nicki Minaj and Keyshia Cole for their song; "I Ain't Thru". Kim went on to say that her and Mary J. Blige were doing a song together dissing Nicki and Keyshia. Wow! Looks like Kim is the one keeping this feud going. Meanwhile Nicki has remained pretty quiet far as I know. Knowing Nicki though she might pop up on a featured single and throw a few shots at Kim. Word is that Nicki might appear on Britney Spears' first single. Stay tuned! | Jazmine Sullivan is back on the music scene with her latest album, "Love Me Back". The album features the hit single, "Holding You Down(Going In Circles)" produced by Missy Elliott. The album goes into the second single, "10 Seconds" which is reminiscent to "Bust Your Windows" and its probably my least favorite song on the album. More noteworthy are the songs that follow including "Good Enough" and "Don't Make Me Wait" which feature a Prince vibe to them. "Don't Make Me Wait" which is one of my favorite songs on the album samples Aretha Franklin's #1 R&B hit, "Jump To It". "Redemption" is another standout song which finds Jazmine rapping. I will say that the second half of the album is not as strong as the first half which is typical with most albums. The songs are still good though and Jazmine has easily released one of the better R&B albums of 2010. ---------------- Now pl...

Jazmine Sullivan has pushed back the release of her new album, "Love Me Back" to November 2. The album was previously set to be released on October 5. I guess I should of saw this coming. The majority of R&B releases if not all get pushed back at least once. Jazmine's current single, "Holding You Down(Goin' In Circles)" is climbing up the charts and the video for the song was recently released.
