BAD GIRL: Wow! I was sitting at my nephew's football game when I decided to get on Facebook for a few minutes. Of course when I did I saw the headline that Keyshia Cole had been arrested. Now that is a shock in itself. It definitely says a lot about her current state of being in my opinion. Keyshia is definitely a woman scorned as evident on many of her songs. What's crazy here is that Keyshia Cole is reportedly dating Birdman! You all know Birdman from Cash Money. Anyway she showed up to his condo in the wee hours of Friday morning to find another woman laid up with the rap star. Keyshia went into crazy mode and scratched the woman's face up among other things. Keyshia was arrested for assault, disorderly conduct(I think) and reckless driving or whatever. She was released later on 46,000 bail. Keyshia then took to social media to air her frustrations about all that went down. Some music news for you all...The-Dream releasing new single Slow It Down on Valentine's Day. His new album Fourplay will be available this May. He is diligently working on Beyonce's new album but has been ordered to "zip it" in regards to album details. The-Dream did reveal that he will be working with Kanye West on his next album. Kid Cudi will release his new album Indicud on April 23. The album features collaborations from Pusha T, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar. R&B Divas: LA is a go! The show is ready for to go into production. The show will feature Kelly Price, Dawn Robinson(of En Vogue), Michel'le, Claudette Ortiz(of City High), Chante Moore, and Lil' Mo. The show is set to air this Fall on TVOne.

Terry Ellis of En Vogue went solo in 1995 and released the single What Did I Do 2 You? ; which was the second single from her album Southern Gal .  Terry Ellis and her En Vogue band mates were in the midst of working on new music. Somewhere along the way the ladies have had another one of their infamous falling outs. Now the group have split into two and are recruiting new members for the perspective groups. If you recall some years back Dawn Robinson left En Vogue for a short time for a solo career that went nowhere. Thereafter she joined the ill fated group Lucy Pearl and scored a hit with the song Dance Tonight . 

Some of our favorite artists as well as some veteran artists will take part in several Super Bowl performances leading up to the actual Super Bowl. Read more below: En Vogue, Patti LaBelle, and Bret Michaels are among the artists who will perform in free concerts during the week leading up to the Super Bowl in Indianapolis. The Super Bowl Host Committee made the announcement Wednesday at a news conference at Lucas Oil Stadium, site of the Feb. 5 game. The artists will perform on stages along Georgia Street beginning Jan. 27. 5. A specific schedule was not announced. Other artists scheduled to appear include Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Corey Cox, Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Edwin McCain, Fitz & the Tantrums, Fuel, Here Come the Mummies, IU's Straight No Chaser, LMFAO, O.A.R, Railroad Earth, Sixpence None the Richer, Umphrey's McGee and Will Hoge. More artists are expected to be added. Madonna will perform at halftime.

Gone are the days where R&B female girl groups ruled. SWV. Xscape. En Vogue. TLC. Recently some of these famed girl groups have reassembled and decided to pick up where they left off. SWV When SWV(Sisters With Voices) disbanded many years ago; lead singer; Coko embarked on a solo career which included a secular R&B album before dodging into full fledged gospel offerings. After a few years of soul searching on Coko's part; she along with Taj and LeLee have teamed back up to record a new album. While not much news is present; expect the group to make their coveted return in 2012(hopefully)! TLC With key member Left Eye having passed years ago; the group TLC which includes T-Boz and Chili is still going strong and then some. VH1 recently announced plans to do a biopic on the famed group. The video to Kelly Rowland's newest single; "Lay It On Me" featuring Big Sean will finally premiere on Wednesday; October 12. I'm not sure if that's on VEVO or on "106 & Park". Either way the video for the song is long overdue. There has been more than enough behind the scenes footage. I'm ready for the video! En Vogue are back with a new single; "I'll Cry Later". The song is slowly gaining adds on radio so be sure to listen out to that. The group is signed to Rufftown Records. An upcoming album is on the horizon I take it. I'm not sure of an exact release date right now or a title or any other information. Everything is never as perfect as it seems. We've learned that over the years when it comes to not only music but even going as far as the stars on TV. While some good things eventually come to an end as we see in most groups; before that groups try to go the distance by replacing members. Whether it be a fall out; group dispute; or personal decision, some groups have stood the test of time for as long as they could. Here are an example of some of the groups who became more well known for their line up changes than their music; hey it happens! 3LW After a fight in a car involving chicken(oddly enough); Naturi Naughton was kicked out of 3LW and started her own successful solo career in music and movies. I can't remember the girl that replaced Naturi but 3LW trucked on with much success.
