Rihanna Set To Testify Against Chris Brown!
Rihanna's attorney says the singer would testify against Chris Brown if called as a witness in her boyfriend's assault case.Donald Etra, who is representing the 21-year-old Barbados native, said Friday that Rihanna would be required by law to testify if prosecutors subpoena her.Etra appeared in court Thursday when Brown made his first appearance on charges of assaulting and making criminal threats to his superstar girlfriend.Brown's arraignment was postponed until April 6.Etra said Rihanna, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, wants the case over with quickly. "She wants to get along with her life and career," he said.
En Vogue Plots Return To Music, Tour!
Former “Hold On,” “My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It),” and “Don't Let Go” divas En Vogue cover this week’s issue of JET and are prepping for a comeback this year! In the issue, which hits stores early this week, En Vogue says “it’s like we haven’t missed a beat.” Dawn Robinson, according to Jet, is back in the group and says “as the torch passed from the supremes to all-girl groups, then we passed it on to others.Now it’s our time again. It’s not about pushing anyone out of the way. It’s time to come back and finish what we started.”
Tyrese Quits Music, Focuses On Acting!
According to Tyrese there will be no more “Signs (of Love Making),” “Sweet Ladies,” or “One” songs comingfrom him!Speaking out about his successful music career, Tyrese told reporters he’s focusing on film fromnow on, after having a deep conversation with rapper-turned-box office bohemoth Will Smith.“I had one of theheaviest and deepest conversations with Will Smith and he said to me, ‘Tyrese, you are 29 years old, and Ijust turned 40… If you take this acting thing serious for the next three years it’s gonna change your lifeforever.’ So I shut down everything on the music side and I lost about forty six pounds training with Will Smithand his trainer Darrel Forster, and it’s just pure film focus now man.”
