So word is that R&B Divas Atlanta may be on the outs! One of the stars, Keke Wyatt confirmed that she won't be returning if the show gets picked up. There is talk that TV One was considering adopting a new city or possibly a major cast shakeup at Atlanta. The sole star would likely be Syleena Johnson and everyone else would be new. Wow! Imagine that! I like R&B Divas Atlanta . I enjoyed this past season more than I did R&B Divas L.A. which I thought was a snooze fest. Their reunion couldn't even save them. Now their first season was epic as was their reunion. I just knew they were going to deliver for season two but they did not and I was very put off by Chante Moore's diva behavior this season. Anyway I do think R&B Divas New York sounds interesting with the right cast and the right amount of drama. I guess we shall see. 

The ladies that make up R&B these days are no punks! They have been getting down and dirty via Twitter and on TV. Check them out in all their glory! Kelly Price vs. Chante' Moore & Lil' Mo Whether you watch TV One's R&B Divas L.A . or not I'm sure you've heard of the impending beef between singers Kelly Price, Chante' Moore, and Lil' Mo. If you follow the show the show spearheaded by Kelly Price, or the concept whether to do a monologue was soon overtaken by Chante' Moore. Kelly eventually became irritated and upset about the revelation and soon took heed. It resulted in some not so subliminal shade, threats, and various accusations. The show has cast Kelly Price in an ugly light and seeing the show I am no longer a fan of the singer myself. Lil' Mo's part in the whole ordeal is because she more or less sided with Chante' but the only person really who was #TeamKelly was Dawn Robinson who was like the Cynthia Bailey to NeNe Leak...

I was compelled to blog about tonight's episode of TV One's R&B Divas L.A. I have been watching the show since its premiere last month. The show is more enjoyable than R&B Divas Atlanta who wore out their welcome in its second season. Of course shows like these are not complete without drama. As a matter of fact a show like this thrives off of drama. Singer Kelly Price, one of six R&B Divas is spearheading a monologue titled "Not Ya Mama's Monologue". The monologue is to feature each R&B Diva(Chante Moore, Claudette Ortiz, Lil' Mo, Michel'e, Dawn, and Kelly) speaking on various experiences they've all endured. Kelly set the plans in motion on the premiere episode and the whole thing has gone downhill since. The ladies have yet to come to terms on an actual director to cast the monologue. Catch Chante Moore on the TV One's R&B Divas LA premiering on July 10. Speaking of new albums...K. Michelle has pushed back the release of her debut album Rebellious Soul to August 13. The album was originally scheduled to be released on July 30. Jay-Z and Beyonce have teamed up again musically for Jay-Z's new album Magna Carta Holy Grail due July 4. The song is titled Part II(On The Run) . Jay-Z's new album features appearances and production from the likes of Swizz Beats, Frank Ocean(song: Oceans ), Justin Timberlake, Rick Rubin(worked with Kanye West), Timbaland, and more.

Mariah Carey is leaving American Idol! Surprised? Well not really. It had been speculated for the last few weeks that all the current judges were either leaving or getting fired. I have been reporting a lot on the new album from Ms. Kelly Rowland titled Talk A Good Game . The album was originally scheduled to be released on June 4 but now the album will arrive on June 18. I'm not sure why the album is being pushed back but to me all that is doing is hurting its chances of being successful. Kelly's current single Kisses Down Low is doing very well and the single Ice featuring Lil' Wayne before it did very well. So what's the holdup? At this point who knows. Kid Cudi will release his new album Indicud on April 23. The album features collaborations from Pusha T, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar. R&B Divas: LA is a go! The show is ready for to go into production. The show will feature Kelly Price, Dawn Robinson(of En Vogue), Michel'le, Claudette Ortiz(of City High), Chante Moore, and Lil' Mo. The show is set to air this Fall on TVOne.

Who knew? I was just reading a review of a recent concert by Chante Moore and she announced that she is in the midst of a divorce with singer; Kenny Lattimore. Together the couple made a variety of albums on the Arista label. Word is that Chante's next album is said to be a gospel album; "Changed" which currently has no release date. A few years ago Chante released the album; "Love That Woman" to little fanfare. Ashanti is releasing new music and her first single is said to surface within' the next two to three weeks. The single is currently untitled. Ashanti's new untitled album is said to be released on her own label; Written Entertainment. No word yet on what label if any is distributing the project. With the month of December around the corner, the number of upcoming album releases continue to soar. New to the list of releases is Ms. Keyshia Cole who will release her fourth album tentatively titled, "Keyshia". The first single is reportedly "I Ain't Through" which is said to feature Nicki Minaj. There are also confirmed and unconfirmed guest appearances from Tank and Faith Evans. Are you all excited about a new Keyshia Cole album? Out of all her albums thus far, her debut remains my favorite. That seems to be a trend with a lot of artists; intentional or not. Their first album always seems to triumph their later work. Usually during their debut album, there is a certain amount of hunger and the need to succeed. After a certain amount of success, some quality in certain artist's music seems to diminish. Now I know when I post a throwback video on here; its usually no more than a few years old. From time to time though I do go back and I mean way back. In this case I go back 10 years to the year 2000 when Chante Moore released, 'Bitter'. It is an underrated song of hers and most people may not be familiar with her or this video. Check it out and you will see a cameo from a male R&B star. Chante Moore was formally married to actor Kadeem Hardison but she remarried years later to singer Kenny Lattimore. Together the two have released a few albums and most recently last year Chante Moore released a solo album, 'Love The Woman'.

The Isley Bros. built a fan base back in the 50s and to this very day are still churning out hits thanks primarily to R. Kelly. Along with duo JS(Johnson Sisters) who appears in the clip, Ron Isley scolds a cheating lover and the video plays similar to another hit single, "Contagious". This time the JS replaces Chante Moore.
