As expected Beyoncé debuted her album film, "Lemonade" on HBO on Saturday and it immediately began trending on Twitter. The "Lemonade" movie which also serves as the title as Beyoncé's new album was inspired by the quote, "I was served lemons, but I made Lemonade" hence the title. The project revolves around Jay-Z's rumored infidelity which is told in equal parts songs and poetry. There is images of Beyoncé's own family including her Mother, Father, and daughter. There were special appearances from Zendaya and Serena Williams among others. Each song in the film is a song that appears on the album which appears in chronological order to the album sequence. I just actually finished watching the film and I thought it was really good. I really feel like it was some next level shit! I liked all the songs as well. Here are some news tidbits: YG was shot 3 times in the hip in L.A. Game is being sued for $12 million dollars by the cop he threatened to kill. Zendaya Coleman graduated high school. Bow Wow says he is responsible for his wife, Erica Mena's new and improved image. Safaree Samuels, Nicki Minajs' ex says Nicki made a whole album about him and he subliminally admitted to cheating in recent interview. Beyonce is being sued for $7 million dollars by background singer for the song "XO". I don't know the specifics of the lawsuit and I really don't care. We all know Beyonce steals songs and ideas by now. "Orange Is The New Black" season 3 has been released and early word on the new season is that it sucks. Have you watched?

GANGSTA LEAN: It's safe to say that Lil' Wayne is not having the best week. Earlier this week it was reported that someone shot at his Miami home and police were called. Fortunately the story was false and no one was injured as originally indicated. As if that wasn't enough, while performing this week Lil' Wayne got mad at the DJ when he played the wrong song. I know I'm late on some of these stories, well at least the story about Zendaya but oh well. Here goes nothing..ALBUMS STILL MATTER: So Drake's second week sales are in and he sold 187,000 copies of his new surprise album/mixtape. Elsewhere on the charts Nicki Minaj's "The Pink Print" album returns to the top 10 thanks to a heavy rotation of singles on the radio. FALLING DOWN: The Brit Awards went down and there were a lot surprises. Madonna took a fall down some stairs and Kanye debuted a new song. Has anyone heard it and did you all see the Madonna video of her falling? It definitely looked painful. HAIR YEAH: And there were some painful words used to describe Zendaya(who was supposed to play Aaliyah) and her hair at the Oscar awards. DROP THIS: Zendaya Coleman has dropped out of the Aaliyah biopic! The Disney star reportedly quit after receiving a negative feedback from Aaliyah's family and fans who petitioned the movie's production. It is now being reported that Rihanna is in talks to play Aaliyah. All I know is if people are unsatisfied with that choice and Rihanna gets the role, she will have no problem letting everyone have it! Rihanna will tell a person off very quickly! SHOTS FIRED: Shots rang out this weekend during the BET Awards '14 festivities. One man was shot and four were injured when cops were called to the scene at 5:17 a.m. Let's just hope that everyone else stays safe and the BET Awards goes on without a hitch. BIO-RHYTHM: Lifetime is now planning a biopic on Aretha Franklin. The famed singer wants Jennifer Hudson or Audra McDonald to play her. Aretha recently met up with Lifetime producers to discuss the film. 

AGE AIN'T NOTHIN' BUT A NUMBER: The big story today is that an actress has finally been chosen to portray the late great Aaliyah. Zendaya Coleman( Dancing With The Stars , Disney's Shake It Up ) will portray Aaliyah in the film airing on VH1 this Fall. A biopic of Aaliyah has been in the works for quite some time. The idea of who should play Aaliyah has sparked many debates over the years. Interestingly enough there have been an onslaught of  biopics to come out of the woodworks in recent months. TLC, whose lives were chronicled in their own VH1 biopic was a hit with audiences and fans. Lifetime is producing the Whitney Houston biopic and 2 Pac's life will be chronicled on the big screen. The companies are seeing green with biopics right now so expect more of them in the future.
