Yesterday the news of Mobb Deep rapper, Prodigy's passing sent shockwaves through the music industry and on social media. Prodigy was 42 and had a lifelong battle with sickle cell anemia. Prodigy had been on tour before falling ill and took a few days off to recover. TV show host, Wendy Williams spoke on the late rapper today and revealed how he was supposed to perform at her Block Party next month. She also said that she ran into him two months prior on the street. R.I.P. Prodigy. One of Prodigy's former nemesis, Jay-Z has not only added the "hyphen" back to his name but has revealed that he will release his new album, "4:44" on June 30 via TIDAL and Sprint. The first song, "Adnis" is about his father and their estranged relationship. I haven't heard the song and as for the album I'm sure we can expect a collaboration with his wife, Beyoncé. Has hell frozen over? Well I was on Twitter earlier today and Azealia Banks was tweeting about doing a possible collaboration with her nemesis, Iggy Azalea much to the surprise of her followers(including myself). Azealia feels a possible collaboration would silence the (rap) girls this Summer if it were to happen. There has been no word if Iggy has responded yet. In the meantime, Azealia will drop a new single, "Escapades" this Friday June 23. Azealia also said that she's doing an interview with XXL magazine. An old banner Mary J. Blige, who is currently going through a publicized divorce has threatened to expose her ex-husband if he keeps humiliating her in the media. Allegedly Mary warned her ex-husband that she will reveal pictures of all the woman he cheated on her with. One of those women is said to be the infamous Karrine "Superhead" Steffans. Drake University. Sitting here watching the ID channel which is one of my favorite channels. I'm also eagerly awaiting to watch "American Horror Story: Roanoke". I wish I could say the same for "Empire" but I've pretty much checked out. I try to stick with the show because it is an African American show and I want to support my black people but the show is rather boring. It's only good now once the show goes on hiatus. I need them to step it up or else. I personally think we got spoiled in the first season because every episode then had a huge moment that had everyone talking. Now its not like that and everything is drawn out since the seasons are longer. But anyway I have a lot news tidbits for you today so continue reading. It was reported yesterday that through Ashanti's Snapchat account that she got into an altercation. Her and Ja Rule were filming a promo spot for their Natural Born Hittas tour when they were in a car and someone was asking them to step out of the car. Ashanti asked why they were being asked out the car before stepping out. That was all we seen of the situation because it flashed to the next day of Ashanti at the gym. She did state however that she had an altercation but didn't give specifics. I'm wondering was this something that was simply staged and part of her tour promo. No one knows! In other music news, Ray J has come out and denied stories that he has DM'ed(Direct Message; a term used when you message a person through Instagram; in case you don't know) President Obama's daughter Malia Obama. Ray says he's getting married Friday and he would do no such thing. I read of the story a few days ago and I figured it was bogus but then again you never know...

What's wrong with these celebrities? They just kicking and beating the shit out of people justs because or do they have anger issues? Who knows? But just in time for the premiere of "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood", Teairra Mari has gotten charged with beating up a UBER driver and taking his phone charger after he wouldn't let her charge her phone. This altercation happened back in July. I wonder was the cameras rolling when this occurred? Who knows but Teairra is one crazy chick! Speaking of altercations, Kevin Gates is being charged for kicking a fan during a concert when she tugged at his shorts. It's been said that Kevin his self stated that he doesn't like to be touched but yet he likes to fuck his cousins. Odd! The first clip of the new season of "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" has debuted. In the clip, Ray J is seen arguing with his on again-off again girlfriend Princess Love. The new season begins on September 7. Will you be watching? Well did you hear Nicki Minaj's ex, Safaree Samuels has put out a diss record aimed at Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj. Safaree claims that he co-wrote Nicki Minaj's most recent album, "The Pink Print". Nicki addressed these claims at a her concert saying it was untrue. He went on to say that his piece was bigger than Meek Mill's. How he know? And that Meek is struggling to go Platinum. I personally think Safaree should give this whole Nicki Minaj mess a break. I thought he had moved on with his new girlfriend but apparently not. And congratulations are in order for Mariah Carey. The diva will be receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Go Mimi! LOVE HURTS: Ray J has had enough of the drama that is "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" and has quit the show. Apparently the producers are scrambling to get him back as he is a central part of the cast. Ray says his relationship with the crazy  Princess Love has suffered since appearing on reality TV but I mean what did you expect? Most relationships and friendships fall apart on reality TV. So what do you all think about Ray J leaving? Do you think it was the right decision or do you think he will be back once up his pay? SISTER SISTER: Speaking of Ray J, his sister Brandy is taking a break from music and going on Broadway to play Roxie Hart in "Chicago". The singer announced the news via her Instagram. Brandy's role starts on April 28.

MUSIC BITS: Beyonce(and don't be mad I know a grave accent goes on the end of her name but I can't seem to make it work) has sent her lawyers to an internet website that has been using her image without her consent along with quotes coined by Queen Bey. The website is said to have thousands of images dedicated to Queen Bey. I personally haven't checked out the website but I hear its lot of nice things there dedicated to Queen Bey and like someone else said you better get there and get what you want before its gone. One thing that is gone for the time being is the relationship between Soulja Boy and Nia Riley(Teddy Riley's daughter) who famously appeared together on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. Soulja Boy has lashed out on Nia is a not so very nice way via social media saying she won't ever get to taste his dick again. MIND CONTROL: K. Michelle will embark on her My Twisted Mind Tour 2015 beginning on February 5 in San Diego, California. The month long trek will end in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is all in support of K. Michelle's newest album which debuted at #1 on the R&B charts late last year. K. Michelle holds the distinction of releasing two #1 R&B albums last year, the first was Rebellious Soul . K. Michelle's success has obviously put a damper on her ex man Memphitz who was throwing shots at her on Instagram and looked pathetic doing so. That might be why he is having trouble in his marriage to Toya Wright. Memphitz has been too busy if you ask me promoting and slandering K. Michelle at the same time.
