Foxy Brown is mad at VH1 for leaving her out of the "Hip Hop Honors" tribute that aired Monday. She went on to include how Lauryn Hill was also left out. In VH1's defense they did have a picture of Foxy Brown up in the background during the finale performance. Foxy promised her fans once again that she has new music and plans to return. She's been saying that for years so I'll believe it when I see it. I do feel like Foxy should of been honored though but maybe next year would of been her year. But she might of cost herself a shot now since she's blasted VH1. Angie Stone was also upset at VH1 because she felt that the misrepresented her group, Sequence. She also revealed that 702's Where My Girls At was a song originally offered to the group but they turned it down. Also the group was offered but passed on Britney Spears' Hit Me Baby One More Time . Soul legend Stephanie Mills has spoken out on artists like Brian McKnight and Erykah Badu and their desire to shock. Brian McKnight has ruffled quite a few feathers with this latest selection of songs including those about "pussy". Stephanie feels that some of these artists who she referred to as "older" artists do shocking things like this to stay relevant. She also went on to do discuss how Erykah Badu felt the need to take off her clothes in the Window Seat video. Though she did proclaim her love for both artists she wasn't exactly hating just stating her opinion. I had never heard of Angie Stone prior to her debut solo album, "Black Diamond". Come to find out though she had an extensive background in music that dated back to the late 70s as a rapper. Ange Stone hit it big with her single, "No More Rain(In This Clouds)". When I tell you all that my mother played this song out, she played it out! She played it out to the point that I learned the lyrics to the song. I never cared for the song but it didn't stop me from learning the lyrics. I heard damn near everyday for months at a time. As much as my mother played "No More Rain", I did manage to hear the rest of the album. One song that always stood out to me and is one of my personal favorites is "Bone 2 Pic(Wit U)". I can't remember a lot of the album but another notable song to check out is "Everyday" which was co-written by Angie's baby daddy, D'Angelo.

The month of November is usually a busy month for music and movies. Angie Stone will release her new album, "Unexpected" on November 24. Like the cover or is Angie doing a little too much? It's not that bad to me.

It has been discussed before but I guess I must of missed that news story but Kanye shot a video for his song, "See You In My Knightmare" which features Lil' Wayne.
