A few months ago word had spread that Foxy Brown had secretly given birth to a baby girl. Now one day after her own birthday(Foxy turned 39 on Sept. 6th), Foxy Brown reveals that she is indeed a mother by posting a picture of her baby girl on her Instagram page. Simply known as "Baby C" Foxy expressed her adoration for her new bundle of joy. There is no word on who the father is of Foxy's baby but if I had to guess I'd say its her longtime boyfriend, reggae star; Spragga Benz. Congratulations Foxy and Happy Belated Birthday! Rick Ross' interview and comments on syndicated radio show, "The Breakfast Club" has landed him in hot water. When asked about signing female rappers to his MMG(Maybach Music Group) imprint, Rick Ross openly admitted that signing a female rapper would interfere in his day to day business as it would turn personal cause he's likely to have sex with her. His sexist comments offended many leading Rick Ross to issue an apology. Female rapper Rah Digga(song: "Imperial") spoke out on her Twitter against Rick Ross saying he shouldn't apologize for saying what he meant. I agree. He told the truth. How he feels is how he feels. I will say that unlike a lot of other male rappers, Rick 's Ross has worked with a lot of female rappers. Foxy Brown continues to be an Internet gangster and stir the pot. The controversial rapper who has been sparring with Remy Ma over the years released her own dis track, "Break's Over" a few months ago. The song, however was not commercially released and was simply released in a snippet form to underground and blog circuits. In the wee hours of the morning, Foxy Brown posted a video to her social media account of herself in a SUV reciting the lyrics to the dis track while it played in the background. Foxy was en route to a performance adorned in a pink Moschino hat and track suit. Surprisingly, Nicki Minaj caught wind of the video and commented that Foxy looked "beautiful". Foxy also confirmed rumors that she has a daughter by shouting out her "dawta" on Instagram. Foxy has been teasing music now for the past 13 years and she has yet to put out a full length project. New York's annual Summer Jam went down last night and it was a night to remember for several reasons. Remy Ma was one of the featured performers and for her set she brought out some legendary women in Hip Hop including MC Lyte, Rah Digga, Lady of Rage(song: "Afro Puffs"), Monie Love(song: "It's A Shame"), Queen Latifah, Lil' Kim, and newbies Cardi B("Love & Hip Hop New York), and Young M.A.(song: "Ooo"). Lil' Kim joined Remy Ma on stage to perform her verse from Mobb Deep's "Quiet Storm Remix" and Queen Latifah came out to perform "U N I T Y". Once the love fest between the women were over. Foxy Brown reportedly showed up to a Philly nightclub and didn't perform and upset patrons. Based on what I've read, the nightclub kept playing Lil' Kim songs prior to her getting on stage. After that it was reported that Foxy stayed in the corner before being booed by patrons who chanted "Remy Ma" as she exited the building. I didn't see a flyer or anything prior to Foxy's "gig" cause usually if she's performing a flyer would of made some of her Instagram fan sites but I don't recall seeing one. The feud between Nicki Minaj and Remy Ma has everyone talking and now several prominent female rappers have given their opinion on the hot topic. Da Brat says she's siding with Remy Ma being that she's from her era and she knows her personally. I need a new Drake avatar Drake had Twitter on fire last night when he released a slew of new songs that dissed Kid Cudi and Pusha T. In one of the songs Drake calls an unnamed Pusha T a "studio drug dealer" or something along those lines. Drake also calls out Kid Cudi by making reference to Kid Cudi's former album title, "man on the moon". People felt that Drake was being insensitive to Kid Cudi since he is currently in rehab. Just months ago Kid Cudi called Drake and Kanye West out. So now Drake is responding two months later, maybe because it took him two months to write the response or his ghostwriter wrote it. Foxy Brown is mad at VH1 for leaving her out of the "Hip Hop Honors" tribute that aired Monday. She went on to include how Lauryn Hill was also left out. Happy Birthday today to the Queen Bee, Lil' Kim! She turns 41 or 42 depending on various bios online. If she were to tell it, she'd say she's still in her 30s but that is an untruth. The reclusive and always controversial rapper says she had $100,000 worth of merchandise in her luggage which included several high end shoes from Gucci among other things. Foxy Brown upset club promoters after failing to show up at the allotted time she was scheduled to perform. The promoter(s) went all in on Ms. Inga Marchand! Sorry for the lack of updates people but let's get right into it. I read a few days ago that Lil' Kim was supposed to be apart of DC Gay Pride show. The show was to include Foxy Brown and Remy Ma but all on separate nights. Immediately Kim came out and denied that she was apart of the fracas. Days later the promoters released documents sent to Kim's people where she was all set to perform and received her $12,000 fee. Once Kim found out that Foxy Brown was set to perform as well, Kim backed out. She returned the money and wanted to forget all about the show so that's why she initially denied she had anything to do with it. Rihanna liked and retweeted a tweet that poked fun at the fact that one of Rihanna's song, "Desperado" was in a higher chart position than Beyoncé's "Formation"which was performed at the Super Bowl.
