---------------- Now playing: Brandy - Shattered Heart via FoxyTunes The newest video/single from Slim. I figured the album, "Love's Crazy" was pretty much a done deal but I guess not. I didn't like the album. I was expecting more but then again I'm always expecting certain musicians to deliver musically and they always fail. Music Biz: Toni Braxton Returns! After her stint on "Dancing With The Stars" last year, Toni Braxton suffered a health crisis during her "Revealed" tour in Vegas. Shortly thereafter the singer was suing the insurance company behind the tour. Now signed to Atlantic Records, Toni has been somewhat quiet on the music scene with the exception of a few leaked songs hear and there ("Melt", "Not A Chance"). Now you can click here to sign up for Toni's mailing list as info becomes available for her and her upcoming album. Irv Gotti Drops Ashanti! Irv Gotti says he and Ashanti, the Princess of the Inc., wil...

Beyonce finally playing someone other than a singer in a movie? Say it isn't so! Well it is. On April 24 Beyonce will star alongside Idris Elba of "Daddy's Little Girls" fame in "Obsessed". The movie which co-stars Ali Larter of "Heroes" fame plays a temp who becomes obsessed with Elba's character. The movie is being tauted as the new millennium version of "Fatal Attraction". While the plot isn't exactly original, the trailer looks pretty decent. Will you being going to see this? Music Biz: Slim Preps New Video! In My Own Words: You probably wouldn't know it but one of my favorite singers is Faith Evans. I tend to like artists that are severly underrated and Faith is no exception. Sure she has had her share of success. The majority of her career if not all has been spent in Mary J. Blige's(her comparison)shadow. Formerly of Capitol Records where she released 2005's "The First Lady" and "A Faithful Christmas", Faith Evans is now signed to M3/Asylum Records. Former labelmate Slim of 112 is also signed to the label. Audio: Dawn Richards - Falls Away Newly leaked track! I'm not sure if its safe to say that Dawn is formerly of Danity Kane or not. There have been so many rumors swirling around the group ever since they became a trio. Music Biz: Prince's Triple Threat! Prince is planning to release three new albums in 2009 without the assistance of a record label, according to an interview with the Los Angeles Times. A "major retailer" is in talks wit...

Video: Slim feat Ryan Leslie & Fabolous - Good Lovin Second single/video from Slim's debut solo album, "Love's Crazy" in stores now! This is one of my favorite songs on Slim's new album. I haven't got to listen to the album all the way through yet but this one is one of the standouts. I have noticed that Ryan Leslie and Fabolous have been collaborating a lot lately. I am assuming that Ryan will more than likely do some production work on Fabo's upcoming album, "Loso's Way". Video: Solange - T.O.N.Y. Third single/video off her "Sol-Angel & The Street Hadley Dreams" album. This is one of my favorite songs from the album. Music Biz: Janet In Japan! Despite all the drama which surrounded the US leg of Janet Jackson's critically acclaimed 'Rock Witchu' tour, it has been announced that the 42 year old superstar will be taking to tour to Japan next year. In her first tour stop there since 2002, Janet will perform in...

Audio: Jamie Foxx - Tell Ur Story Newly leaked track! This sounds like it was produced by Mario Winans. The vocals also sound like Mario Winans demoed it. This song will possibly be included on Jamie's upcoming album, "A Man's Intuition" in stores this December. Audio: Trey Songz - So Fly This is a take on Slim's "So Fly" song. Trey can't leave no one's song alone. He is also redoing someone elses' song. I'm kind of tired of it but it does keep his name out there. Add to the fact that he is a featured vocalist on a bevy of R&B and rap releases. Trey is paid! Music Biz: Michael Jackson Sick! Michael Jackson might be too sick to travel to London to testify in a suit claiming he owes an Arab sheikh $7 million, the pop star's attorney said today (Nov. 18). Jackson is seeking to give his testimony by video link from the United States. "It would be unwise for him to travel, given what's he's got now," lawyer Robert Eng...

Audio: Slim - Love's Crazy Album Preview Check out Slim's new album before it hits stores November 18. When you listen to this you get an idea of how the album will sound. I have you know that the audio is over 21 minutes so its a good length of time. It is more than enough time to decide whether or not you wanna purchase or download this album. I'm on the fence about the album now but I will probably get it more than likely. Audio: Beyonce - Ego The second single off her "I Am...Sasha Fierce" album. Music Biz: Plies Gets Real! Rap...

I'm actually looking forward to Kanye's new album. Audio: Kanye West - Heartless Kanye's 2nd single off his upcoming album, "808s & Heartbreaks". I'm digging it! Music Biz: Akon's Free! Upfront/Konvict/SRC/ Universal Motown multi-platinum singer/songwriter/producer, Akon burst out of the starting gates with the winningly melodic and compulsively danceable single "Right Now (Na Na Na)." The song is sparking up the charts in a record-setting pace that's familiar to Akon's millions of fans worldwide."Right Now (Na Na Na)" is the lead track from Akon's 3rd upcoming album FREEDO...

Check out Slim's(of 112) new album cover. His new album will be in stores November 18. The album is led by single, "So Fly" feat Yung Joc. The album sports collaborations from Faith Evans, Slim Thug and many more. I never thought any of the 112 members stood out. I know Slim was the lead artist but he was unlike many lead artists. He was very camera shy(to my knowledge)and not much was really known about him. I remember reading that he did have a few kids but that's it. Anyway some people were arguing that Slim should of took the shades off and showed his face. What do you think? While you think about that listen to Slim's 2nd single, "Good Lovin" feat and produced by Ryan Leslie. Audio: Akon feat Keyshia Cole - Work It Out New song from Akon's new album, "Freedom" in stores November 25. This is just alright...nothing groundbreaking. Audio: Bobby Valentino - 3 Is The New 2 New song from Bobby V. A new album is obviously on the horizon. He r...

Video: Britney Spears - Womanizer This video reminds me of Ciara's "Go Girl" a little with the black wig and office scene. Audio: Ludacris feat T-Pain - One More Drink From his upcoming album, "Theater Of The Mind". I haven't been too impressed with any of the songs I've heard thus far. I think I will skip this album. Music Biz: Slim Is Love Crazy! Slim of R&B group 112 has inked a release date for his debut solo project entitled "Loves Crazy."Slated for release November 18, "Loves Crazy" is supported by the hit single "So Fly" featuring Yung Joc."It's that feel-good, getting ready to go out groove" says Slim, referring to his new project and latest single "Good Lovin' which features Next Selection star Ryan Leslie. In addition to collaborating with Young Joc and Ryan Leslie, the singer who says “I’ve always been a gentleman of R&B, a classy type guy who is all about making the fans happy,” has ...

Video: Slim feat Yung Joc & Shawty Lo - So Fly 112's frontman Slim embarks on a solo career with this debut video[single]that has been doing very well on the R&B charts. Check it out! Slim's debut album, "Love's Crazy" will be in stores soon. Guest artists include Faith Evans and 8Ball & MJG. A friend of mine who likes this song as well heard Slim on the radio station here. She says that 112 is still together and they weren't actually signed to Bad Boy Records. I'll have to find out more about that. Music News: Shots were fired last night at an after pary for producer Jermaine Dupri. Celebs such as Diddy, Larenz Tate, and Gabrielle Union were sent running out the back entrance. One minor injury occurred but the suspect is on the loose. I remember the night before I was supposed to go to this club, shots had been fired up there. It had been on the news and everything. I was a little adamant about going there but I did and I had a good time. The ...
