So I was just thinking if I ever did a post like this and to answer that question, I likely have. So consider this an update of sort. It seems prior to Trey Songz releasing his newest album, "Tremaine" he's been embroiled in some pretty high profile celebrity feuds. Now whether or not these feuds are simply for publicity purposes or not, you will have to decide. I have decided to profile some of the feuds Trey has had publicly in the last few months or so because boy has it been a few. Remember when Trey got arrested while performing in Detroit? "Baby Love" Those pesky baby rumors regarding Janet Jackson's alleged first child won't seem to go away. This is a rumor that has been floating around since the late 80s. This is also a rumor that has "legs" which basically means, its one of those rumors that refuses to go away. In the past Janet has denied having a secret child but her ex-Mother in Law; Mrs. DeBarge says she has DNA evidence that Janet had a child. She recalls that she told Janet she was pregnant and Janet never responded. The relatively quiet and private singer has been very open and forthcoming about her recent birth to a baby last month but why not one that allegedly exists 30 years ago? One may never know. Did You Know? "Did You Know" is a new post I will be doing periodically which will reveal little known music facts that you might know or might not know. Singers Aaliyah and Changing Faces both recorded the song "Come Over". Aaliyah's version of the song was recorded years ago and wasn't released until after her untimely death if my memory serves me correct. Changing Faces' version appeared on their 2000 album, '"Visit Me". The song was written and produced by Teddy Bishop and John'ta Austin. For the love of... I was just reading two days ago about how NBA player Matt Barnes is looking for love after being turned down by Rihanna and his ex-wife moving on to Derek Fisher. It's been pretty hush hush as to the extent of the divorce but Issacs was questioned about the divorce on social media. It's the battle of the R&B Divas. The Battle of the R&B Divas will basically profile two R&B Divas and the origin of their beef and where it stands today, if it's been resolved or what have you. GRAMMY NIGHT: So good evening everyone! I'm sorry I haven't updated lately. You know I be meaning to but I didn't realize it has been six long days. Any who I'm sitting here watching the Grammys and trying not to fall asleep and I say that with the utmost sarcasm. I'm watching Annie Lennox perform a cover of I Put A Spell On You. I saw Beyonce and Jay Z win a Grammy for Best R&B Song for Drunk In Love. Now my question is why Jay Z ain't join on her stage? I mean its not just her award its yours too. But he's always pretty gracious when it comes to his wife as he should be. I mean Drunk In Love wining was a no-brainer right? It deserved it though. Madonna performed earlier and she did a pretty job. I can't remember the name of the song she performed but I'm guessing its on her new album Rebel Heart due in March.  Being the wife of a famed rapper certainly has its benefits but its even more beneficial when you've had your own career prior to that. Being the wife of T.I. has not been easy for Tameka "Tiny" Cottle-Harris formerly of the group Xscape for which she is best known. She had a hand in writing the Grammy winning single No Scrubs performed by TLC. After that Tiny dimmed the light on her own career to become a housewife and business woman when she married T.I., who became more established after he was wed. We got to see their union play out on TV courtesy of VH1 and also most recently in the media. BET's much hyped about Hip Hop Music Awards aired tonight, October 14. The award show, which was prerecorded a few weeks ago(take note BET Awards) honored those in Hip Hop and included cyphers from veteran and upcoming rappers. The show was emceed by Snoop Dogg who did a great job by the way. Snoop was full of charisma and delivered in a series of skits that featured Nia Long in some of her famed roles. Presenters: Keyshia Cole, Porsha Williams, and my mind just drew a blank at the rest of the presenters. Winners: DJ Mustard, Future, Pharrell, Casino(Move That Doh), YG, Jeezy, and Rich Homie Quan to name a few. Earlier this week Rah Digga spoke out about Iggy Azalea when asked in a radio interview. She questioned Iggy's authenticity as a rapper and her connections to Hip Hop in general. This wouldn't be the first time Iggy's authenticity was questioned. Just a few months ago outspoken singer K. Michelle came out of the woodworks questioning why Iggy sounds the way she does. I can't remember Iggy ever responding to the question but she did comment on Rah Digga's comments shortly after the interview made the rounds. Azealia Banks called out Iggy Azalea as well when she noted that a lyric was deemed racist. Yes! I'm behind on my reporting for the Video Music Awards but better late than never. I'm sure by now everyone has seen the telecast or have heard the highlights. But in case you have not here's a little info on what went down Sunday night. As expected there were plenty of forgettable and unforgettable moments. The highlight of the night was of course Beyoncé's performance which closed the show out. As rumored the diva performed a staple of songs from her recently released self-titled album. At the end Beyoncé was joined onstage by her husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy when she received the Video Vanguard award. The lost for words Beyoncé simply said "thank you" and kissed her husband and child. How sweet. If you missed the BET Awards '14 you missed a lot. But don't fret I got you covered. You can check out a list of the winners, presenters, performers, and audience sightings. I will say the women brought it with their fashion choices this year. I think many of the women looked radiant. A lot of women opted for white(Adrienne Bailon, Ashanti, Tamar). A lot of women also sported jaw dropping cleavage. The performers were top notch of course. Chris Brown returned to the BET stage in top form. Nicki Minaj threw shade at what many thought was a dig at Iggy Azalea. Why though? Is Nicki feeling threatened by the success of the new rising rap star? If you missed the BET Awards '14 red carpet preshow you didn't miss much. I'm just being honest. There were a lot of appearances on the red carpet which you can check out below with a list of red carpet performers as well. What I did notice, as far as the fashion was concerned there were a lot of trends on the red carpet. One trend was that many singers wore white ensembles. Another was that there was a fair amount of jaw dropping cleavage. Jewelry always remains an important accessory when on the red carpet and we saw that on the likes of many of the men on the red carpet. Any news is better than no news. It's funny that August Alsina hasn't been on the music scene long and he has already gained notoriety for his lewd acts. The outspoken singer has feuded with Trey Songz, hung himself with rope, cursed out concert goers, and even cancelled tour dates due to slow sales, but not in that order.
