A few days ago it was reported that singer, Mariah Carey was robbed of 50K(50 thousand) dollars worth of jewelry and purses. I'm thinking her backup dancers are to blame because maybe they are not getting paid enough to be on tour with her. I know Mariah Carey casually hangs out with her backup dancers and even dates them so what makes you think they wouldn't rob her? I'm sure they have been throughout her home on various occasions and have been privy to see many of the lavish items Mariah owns. What makes you think one of those snakes with an axe to grind for whatever reason didn't go upstairs in her room and steal one of her Gucci bags? To top it off they may of wanted it for themselves or they may of stolen it and sold it off and got money for it. You never know but let's hope this is not the case. Drake has a new love interest. There have been pictures floating around of J-Lo and Drake all cozy and now reports are confirming that the two are dating. They've also been reported to be working on music namely for J-Lo's Epic debut album. Of course everyone is up in arms about this relationship but I'm not surprised by it one single bit. What do you think about J-Lo and Drake dating?  Queen Latifah was the victim of car theft when her Mercedes Benz was stolen while she was at a gas station. The whole incident is bizarre to me. Her car was later found with three guys standing around it, however they didn't have anything to do with the crime. You can see Queen Latifah starring in the new FOX TV show, "Star" premiering next month.  Young Thug has been sued for $18,000 dollars for not paying his chauffeur bill. That's all I know about that but it is funny how Young Thug has been in all this trouble lately. Maybe its karma.

Young Thug in trouble. Do you all remember the video that surfaced of Young Thug at an airport dissing the airport employees? The video surfaced like two weeks ago. I don't recall what all the commotion was about but Young Thug's mother was so up in my arms, she had him go back and apologize to the airport employees. Well now Young Thug has went and got himself arrested. Some say its karma for his treatment of the airport employees. Do you believe in karma? Ashanti on tour Ashanti and her pal Ja Rule are on tour as part of their Natural Born Hittas tour. The tour just started and lasts for about a month I believe. Will you be seeing Ashanti and Ja Rule?  Azealia Banks says her new music will not be released through the digital channels, i.e. iTunes. The rapper, obviously frustrated by a number of things says her next album, if and when she releases it, will be released in physical form. Hey! This isn't the first time that divorce rumors have dogged the couple. 2 years ago, we found the couple at odds over more infidelity rumors. Both artists released a slew of dis records and engaged in several social media spats before deciding to stay together. So only time will tell if this is true. What's wrong with these folks or should I say celebrities? Kelly Price has everyone talking after a performance at a Gospel Expo was deemed "inappropriate". The singer performed her hit song, "As We Lay" which is a song that was also performed by Shirley Murdock back in the day. Kelly posted a video via social media stating that she was upset and that she was asked to perform her music. Why she didn't perform one of her gospel numbers is beyond me. But after seeing Kelly on "R&B Divas" we know she is quite the diva and performing "As We Lay" is an odd choice of a song to perform at a Gospel expo. Ashanti appeared on "The Real" where she was grilled about her new man who she described as 6 foot 4 and 290 lbs. She stated that her new boo is not in the music industry either. We did some digging and its none other than San Francisco 49ers player Darren Dockett. Though this is not new news to most people. The two have actually been dating for quite a while. I believe the two met over Twitter where they have exchanged convo in the past. Interesting thing about Dockett is he's rumored to be gay and I thought he had a domestic dispute in the past. Metro claims that many people are jocking Future's style and Young Thug took offense and took to Twitter. 50 Cent was on the receiving end of some hot gossip courtesy of ex-girlfriend, actress Vivica A. Fox. When asked what she thought about 50 Cent saying "Empire" was facing a ratings decline because of its gay storylines, she insinuated that 50 Cent was gay by calling him a "booty snatcher". The Game appeared on "The Breakfast Club" last week and said things between him and Young Thug were patched up. He said things got "real", though he didn't elaborate on what that meant. Young Thug soon shot back with a FaceTime video of The Game apologizing to him for coming at him in defense of Lil' Wayne. Young Thug was arrested this morning after threatening to shoot a mall cop in the face. Just a few weeks ago The Game was arrested in a similar incident when he threatened an off duty cop. What's wrong with these rappers? The world may never know. Chris Brown's house was robbed while the singer was not there but his family was. Brown's aunt was held at gunpoint. The incident prompted Brown's Mother to issue a statement to those responsible on Twitter. Mama Brown is not to be played with. Personally I think it was an inside job. Azealia Banks is at it again, you could say! After Katy Perry tweeted that she was on her way back to the "trap house", Azealia took offense and tweeted. But I feel her though. So R. Kelly has revealed that his new album will be titled, "The Buffet". When I first read this to myself, I laughed on the inside. I wonder what mess was R. Kelly going to hit us with this time. Explaining the album's title, he says that he wants to give all his fans, young and old a variety of music he's done over the years; the raunchy songs, the dance step songs, etc. I guess it makes sense now that he explained because at first, I was thinking the title further cemented R. THUG NASTY: So Young Thug realized what was good for him and apologized to Th e Game for calling him out in a video a few days ago.  The Game accepted the apology and issued one of his own by saying that hopefully Thug and Wayne can handle their differences. The Game has snapped back at Young Thug in defense of Lil'Wayne. As we know Young Thug has been taking shots at Lil' Wayne after threatening to file a lawsuit against the rapper for attempting to use his album title,"Carter 6". Young Thug later retorted with a diss video and changed his album title to "Barter 6". The controversy helped since it helped Young Thug album become #1 on iTunes. Not because it was good but because people wanted to see if it was worth anything worth listening to on the album. Reviews were mixed. Anyway, back to the subject at hand, Young Thug has responded back to The Game so its safe to say its on. Then again The Game may be trying to garner up some publicity of his own for his new single "Ryda" featuring Dej Loaf and his upcoming reality show on VH1. In album news, Boosie BadAzz will release his new album, "Touch Down 2 Hell" on May 26. The album features appearances from T.I., Rick Ross, Keyshia Cole, and Rich Homie Quan. Tyler, The Creator lands at #5 with his new album "Cherry Bomb" and Young Thug arrives at #26 with "Barter 6" after only four days of release. Young Thug's full length studio album will arrive in August. Drake's album, "If Your Reading This Its Too Late" maintains its position in the top 10 at #10. R.I.P. Hey people! I've been away for a few days but not intentionally. I guess I do have a life outside of this blogging thing. :) Sad news in R&B as it was reported a few days ago that Johnny Kemp, 80s singer who sung the song "Just Got Paid" passed away at age 55. In other sad news Ben Powers, who starred on the 70s sitcom "Good Times" died. He was 64 years ago. If the name doesn't register he played Thelma's husband in the later years of the show, by this time James(the father) had died and Janet Jackson was starring as Penny. R.I.H.
