Aww baby!!! There's a lot of little news stories going around, many of them not noteworthy at all but I'll mention some of them just because. So here goes... Waka Flocka Flame is caught up in the groupie mess once again. Some chick is claiming he was cheating. But to be honest I really didn't follow the whole story but by the looks of it, its getting really messy. Don't expect any new music from Ashanti anytime soon and I guess that's okay since she has plenty of hit songs to perform on tour. Ashanti, who is currently on tour with Ja Rule in Australia is about to hit Europe, this time with R&B singer; Joe. The trek stars February 22 in Paris and ends March 4 in Berlin. What's wrong with these folks or should I say celebrities? Kelly Price has everyone talking after a performance at a Gospel Expo was deemed "inappropriate". The singer performed her hit song, "As We Lay" which is a song that was also performed by Shirley Murdock back in the day. Kelly posted a video via social media stating that she was upset and that she was asked to perform her music. Why she didn't perform one of her gospel numbers is beyond me. But after seeing Kelly on "R&B Divas" we know she is quite the diva and performing "As We Lay" is an odd choice of a song to perform at a Gospel expo. Kelly went on to say in the video that the church is filled with "bigotry" and that's why people don't attend church. If I were Kelly I'd be somewhat embarrassed at the mishap but then again she chose to sing that selection. Kanye West made a much publicized appearance on "SNL" last night complete with a bevy of guests including Future, Young Thug, Chance the Rapper, Kelly Price, The-Dream, and Future who all happen to be on his new album, "The Life of Pablo". "TLOP" is now available exclusively on TIDAL and will be available elsewhere a week from now. And in the midst of Kanye's new album release are the stories about him dissing Taylor Swift which Kanye says was her idea and but Taylor's camp is dismissing the claim. Then there's a dig at Ray J where Kanye proclaims himself as "rich" and even informed Brandy that he mentioned Ray J on the new album. All this talk about the album, Kanye performed two songs, "Ultra High Beams" and "Highlights" if I'm not mistaken. Chal is about to tell it like it T I S. If you plan on buying a physical copy of Beyonce's new self-titled album, don't plan on buying it from retail giant Target. The store has decided not to carry Beyonce's new album largely in part due to iTunes getting the exclusive first. It is noted that iTunes is music's biggest retailer so rightfully so Bee would partner up with them. I do understand Target's reasoning to an extent only because they lose out on revenue, to the tune of 617K(that's the amount of copies Bee's new album has sold in the last three days in the US). Maybe Target will come around after they get over their hissy fit. This is not the first time Target has refused to carry an artist's album. The store refused to sell physical copies of Frank Ocean's channel Orange album when the album appeared on iTunes days before its physical release. Target eventually gave in and started carrying the album months down the line. Speaking of divas...

The ladies that make up R&B these days are no punks! They have been getting down and dirty via Twitter and on TV. Check them out in all their glory! Kelly Price vs. Chante' Moore & Lil' Mo Whether you watch TV One's R&B Divas L.A . or not I'm sure you've heard of the impending beef between singers Kelly Price, Chante' Moore, and Lil' Mo. If you follow the show the show spearheaded by Kelly Price, or the concept whether to do a monologue was soon overtaken by Chante' Moore. Kelly eventually became irritated and upset about the revelation and soon took heed. It resulted in some not so subliminal shade, threats, and various accusations. The show has cast Kelly Price in an ugly light and seeing the show I am no longer a fan of the singer myself. Lil' Mo's part in the whole ordeal is because she more or less sided with Chante' but the only person really who was #TeamKelly was Dawn Robinson who was like the Cynthia Bailey to NeNe Leak...

Kelly Price finally breaks her silence regarding her crazy and bizarre behavior on TV One's R&B Divas L.A. While Kelly did take blame for her antics not much else was really revealed in this teaser interview. I just think it's too little too late. Most people have formed their opinion about Ms. Kelly Price over the last few weeks and I think it will be awhile before people forgive her for shenanigans. 

I was compelled to blog about tonight's episode of TV One's R&B Divas L.A. I have been watching the show since its premiere last month. The show is more enjoyable than R&B Divas Atlanta who wore out their welcome in its second season. Of course shows like these are not complete without drama. As a matter of fact a show like this thrives off of drama. Singer Kelly Price, one of six R&B Divas is spearheading a monologue titled "Not Ya Mama's Monologue". The monologue is to feature each R&B Diva(Chante Moore, Claudette Ortiz, Lil' Mo, Michel'e, Dawn, and Kelly) speaking on various experiences they've all endured. Kelly set the plans in motion on the premiere episode and the whole thing has gone downhill since. The ladies have yet to come to terms on an actual director to cast the monologue. He is diligently working on Beyonce's new album but has been ordered to "zip it" in regards to album details. The-Dream did reveal that he will be working with Kanye West on his next album. Kid Cudi will release his new album Indicud on April 23. The album features collaborations from Pusha T, Kanye West, and Kendrick Lamar. R&B Divas: LA is a go! On Thursday night, just two days before her death, Whitney Houston showed up at R&B singer Kelly Price's pre-Grammy celebration. The two old friends even sang a duet of "Yes, Jesus Loves Me." Talking to Rolling Stone last night, Price – who was clearly struggling to control her emotions before succumbing to tears near the end of the interview – said that the song was a fitting one. "She’s a church girl, she related to the church girl in me. I’m a church girl, I related to the church girl in her," Price said. "And at the end of the day, whatever was going on, our conversation could always go back to the foundation of our lives, starting out singing in church. And no matter what was going on we could always go back to that." I'm loving Kelly Prices' "Not My Daddy" song right now so I'm a little excited about her album. Her first single; "Tired" which is included on the new album was nominated for a Grammy last year. Get this! Ne-Yo and his friend are expecting their second child together. I feel like Ne-Yo is trying so hard to prove his manliness. This is from the same guy who was saying he wanted to keep "Irreplaceable" to himself. I'm sorry I'm just not convinced.
